Best chiropractor, even better comedian(In the best way possible). Aside from elite care Dr. Youdeem's personality is the backbone of his practice. I've been seen by Dr.Youdeem for almost a decade now, his care and services have kept me out of surgery various times. He is methodical and sets clear goals for care with an individualized approach. Dr.Youdeem is very intentional about treatment and how to mitigate pain while you're under his care. I visit his practice regularly for maintenance adjustments but he has given me high level care/recovery for a torn medial meniscus twice (9 years apart when I re-aggravated the injury), a torn labrum in my shoulder as well as a bulged disc in my lower back. All these concerns were verified by my doctors office with via x-ray, MRI etc.. with multiple surgeons claiming I needed surgery. Luckily, I received a second opinion here at Dr.Youdeem's office and couldn't be happier that I stopped by. After all of those injuries, I am still in the gym lifting heavy and making it through various HIIT workouts. I attribute a good portion of my speedy recovery to Dr.Youdeem and I highly recommend anyone on the fence about chiropractic to drop by. Dr. Youdeem is a REALLY good chiropractor!!! One thing I noticed about him in the past few visits is that he only gives you the necessary treatments, not extras. This is extremely helpful (especially for cash patients like myself!). It takes a great doctor to know his patients' needs. This last visit was a short one but it was very beneficial. I had a screaming headache the day before and bilateral shoulder pain for 3 months. I only needed a quick neck adjustment. He told me to ice my neck 5 times a day- no heat since it increases blood flow and could increase pain as well. He also did not prescribe meds. I'm totally cool with that. I started seeing Dr. YouDeem last December when I hurt my back (what did I do? Probably got out of bed wrong, sucks getting old). I'd never been to a chiropractor so I was nervous. First off, the office staff is sooooo nice. I think office staff is generally seriously underestimated by patients which they shouldn't be because it really guides the overall experience. If you want to be treated kindly and warmly like they're glad you're back, come to this office! From checking in, being setup in preparation for the doctor, or being assisted with icing and treatments this staff is overwhelmingly kind and respectful. Kudos and 2 stars for just that alone. Now, add 3 stars for Dr. Youdeem. He is funny, warm, speaks kindly, has a calm demeanor, and puts you at ease quickly. He works through the treatments quickly and has you ice the areas at the office before leaving. There are tables and massage chairs specific for this purpose (the massage chairs are epic!)! Dr. Youdeem has treated my neck and lower back. I've been manually adjusted by being twisted and turned while lying on the table, also he's used some sort of targeted pressure tool for certain tight areas, and I've had some sort of electro-stimulus thingie-mabobber (obviously the correct medical term ) when I've had an especially painful area of concern. Dr. Youdeem is the only doctor working out of that office. He has flexible office hours, some days he opens the office later to work later to accommodate those that need to come after 5pm. Note: he does have an open treatment area where there can be 3-4 patients at once. So if you're nervous about being treated "in the common area" I'm sure they'll take you to the private family room in the back. When I brought my kids to the appointment I was taken to the family room that was more private. They have massage treatment options. I can't comment on that since I haven't experienced it. I found Dr. Youdeem by a chance looking for a chiropractor near me, I was new in the area, and in January 2019 I was involved in an automobile accident, and after months of going with a different doctor, physical therapy, MRI, and Xrays they could not help me. It's a wonderful thing to be "Pain Free" that is what Dr Youdeem did for me! Dr and his compassionate staff were Terrific!! I was previously unable to take a step without feeling excruciating pain in my lower back that radiated down my leg. This problem had gone on for about 4 years, I saw my primary care physician, had some chiropractic services as well as acupuncture treatments with temporary relief. My sister who also suffers from back pain shared the Non Surgical Spinal Decompression Procedure information and found Dr. Youdeem who offered this service. Went to see Dr Youdeem because I was just tired of having my shoulder pain. And the place was awesome. In the front it stated "Crawl-ins Welcome," and I instantly knew I would love this place. The humor made me relax instantly since I didn't know what to expect, etc. The ladies in the front were friendly and assisted me quickly. Filled out the forms, submitted then and guided to the exam room. Dr Youdeem entered Ana introduces himself. Very friendly guy and cracked a few jokes and did some assessments on my shoulder. Come to find out, I have frozen shoulder. How? idk since I am very mobile and use my right arm amore than necessary! Lol. He adjusted my back and oh my gosh, the sound of your back and neck cracking was relieving. My stress was lifted and I felt a lot more relaxed. I recommend everyone to go see a chiropractor every year at least. He requested a therapist to treat my shoulder and show me my daily exercises to thaw out my frozen shoulder. I have 6 treatments and I was a little sore after visiting him BUT feeling more relieved. They even called to see how I felt after the visit. How sweet is that!?! I'm definitely coming back to this place annually if not semi-annually to get chiropractic adjustment or massage therapy. Highly recommend this place! If I could give the chiropractor 0 stars I would. He caused me literally 3 years of pain from a neck adjustment he made. 3 years. He was so aggressive and did a neck adjustment while I was laying down that changed my life forever. I had no neck pain on my right side at all before too. Literally felt like I got hit by a car and the whiplash was so bad that I've had to do countless physical therapy/ massage sessions to get it better. This is an update to the review I previously wrote in Sept of 2013 for Dr. Youdeem. I just left the office today after receiving a treatment which, IF I FOLLOW his expert advise, always works for me. I never, ever have a problem with office visits or scheduling. He does have other obligations occasionally and sometimes the office hours are slightly different from those listed. BUT he makes sure to announce this via your personal e-mail account and/or a phone call and there never seems to be a problem. I really can't understand the review from Monday the 27th.. I think that was the week he took afternoons away from the office. BUT that was well announced to all. I still recommend him to anyone needing chiropractic work, and a few good natured jokes also to keep ya smiling. read more

Dr Youdeem has so many 5-Star Yelp reviews, I was worried they rigged the responses. I figured I would just check it out But seriously though... He and his staff are awesome! Each staff member I encountered was professional and pleasant. Before Dr Youdeem started working on me, he went point by point through my history, asked lots of questions, explained what was going on with my spine and why things hurt. It felt like every vertebrae in my spine cracked (really not an exaggeration, but I also didn't count the pops). He did this kind of hug maneuver which I wasn't familiar with, and then he made a joke that's why patients love him. The first visit was longer than I expected, at an hour - but I definitely prefer anyone touching my spine be thorough. The second visit was 15-20 minutes. He even called the next day to follow-up! Dr. Youdeem was recommended to me by a friend when I was having really severe back pain & knee pain. And sure enough, I went to him 3 times a week and iced 2-3 times daily and was back to my normal self! And my insurance covered my treatments! I was training for a half marathlon and my knee was giving me so much pain when I ran. I went to Dr. Youdeem and he figured out it wasnt my knee that was the problem it was my IT Band....so within 3-4 weeks I was back to running & training! This is my first Yelp review ever but since I found Dr. Youdeem from the helpful reviews of other Yelpers, I had to do the same. My 14-year old son had been having lower back pain for a couple of months. His pediatrician sent him for X-rays and lab work and ruled out anything "wrong." Best guess was back pain from a bad posture, carrying a heavy baseball bag or school backpack. Pain meds was recommended. That's when I decided to look for a chiropractor to help my son. Getting an appointment the next day was super easy. From the initial phone contact to leaving the office, we were treated in a friendly and professional manner by the staff. The front office, patient room, treatment area and bathroom were all very clean. I noticed that regular patients waited less than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Very fast service! I can't say enough about Dr. Youdeem. He was attentive, detailed, and explained what was going on with my son's back in simple terms. Just from looking at the X-rays I brought in, he knew where my son's pain was before he even touched him. He was funny, personable and very thorough. My son usually dreads going to the doctor (like most teenagers I'm sure) but he felt very comfortable with Dr. Youdeem and was so relieved that the pain he was feeling wasn't all in his head. Really disappointed and frustrated to have to write this review. Drove 45 min through traffic to get here before closing time and called multiple times to let then know I'm coming. Machine kept telling me receptionists were busy on other lines. Got there 45 min before closing to find the business dead and closed. Amazing Dr! I have gone to Dr Youdeem after each of my car accidents and he has helped me to get out of the pain I was in and to learn how to work with the car insurance companies. Without his help I would not have been able to heal from the accidents. If you suffer from Migraines, he is a God send!! Let me start by saying I have never been treated by a chiropractor, so I had no idea what to expect. I even googled "what to expect at a chiropractor visit" to see what would be done, because i didn't even know the appropriate attire to wear. I have been having dull, achy neck and back pain, and I think it's mostly from stress and poor ergonomics. I'm admittedly bad when it comes to posture, and it doesn't help that I have a job which requires a lot of report writing at a desk. I have Kaiser with chiropractic coverage, so I figured I would give it a shot since I pay an arm and a leg for medical insurance. Found Dr. Youdeem on Yelp, and immediately checked to see if he was a provider who works with American Specialty Health (Kaiser contracts with this network). Luckily, he is. I called the office and they verified my benefits while I was on the phone. I booked an appointment for the very next day. I appreciated that. When I arrived, the two lady receptionists greeted me and were very friendly. The small waiting room had about 4-5 chairs, but was clean and tidy. They handed me new patient forms, and asked for my driver's license and Kaiser card. I also filled out an electronic form for ASH, but that had more to do with my insurance. The electronic form was completed on a tablet with a stylus. Very high-tech. I was impressed. I was brought back to the Diagnostic room to wait for Dr. Youdeem. He came in shortly thereafter, and we began the process. Although I had filled out my medical history on the patient forms, Dr. Youdeem said he wanted to get my history again. He saw on the form that I am currently undergoing IVF, and he said he could help with that since the nervous system is involved in EVERYTHING including infertility. By releasing stress and tension, it will in turn reduce my stress. Totally makes sense. I just didn't think of it that way. He was charting with a tablet and wireless keyboard. Again, very impressed with the high-tech equipment. After getting my history, while crackin a few jokes, he asked me to do a couple stretches and other neurological assessments, before going to the treatment room to get my back adjusted. Throughout the entire process, he was friendly, funny, down-to-earth, and just seemed like an all-around nice guy. He started in the sacral area and worked his way up to the cervical area, all the while telling me the left side is more tender than the right, or the right side is more tender than the left. I was amazed he could do that simply by palpating my back. When he adjusted my back and neck, I HEARD ALL THE CRACKS AND POPS. But when I got up, I felt like a million bucks. I immediately felt relief from the tension in my neck, and it was much more loose. It was like I had just gotten a great massage. All in all, it took about 25-30 minutes for the first visit. I'm already scheduled for 3 more visits. Dr. Youdeem knows what he is doing and does it well! Thanks, Dr. Youdeem and thank you to your awesome staff. I prefer not to take medication for migraines and headaches so I choose chiropractic care. I love my previous chiropractor but he is in Seal Beach which is a little inconvenient, and getting appointments became harder to schedule at his office. Through yelp I found Dr. Youdeem and had my first visit today. Scheduling an appointment was easy. Dr. Youdeem was professional, attentive and very friendly. He was able to identify my problem areas, and my adjustment was wonderful! After my adjustment, Cera massaged my problem areas and she was efficient with working on specific areas, easy to talk to and kind. As Dr. Youdeem strongly emphasized, I am now icing my back. It was a very tragic day for my son when he met Dr. Youdeem for his first consultation. His quality of life has not been same. After discussing brief medical history with my son, he performed manipulations on his neck and spine on the first visit. My son was in excruciating pain after treatment and was advised, it is normal after adjustments. HE IS STILL IN PAIN TILL DATE. Dr. Youdeem helped me when I was involved in an accident with a Semi Truck back in 2018. He will be my chiropractor until I die, or he retires. I suffer from migraines too and he's always there when I have an attack. He's very compassionate and understanding when I'm in pain. He fits me in on the day I call and the wait is only a few minutes. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he set up a routine that worked people in as time and protocol permitted, and he remained the consummate professional through it all.
