I have been a member at this gym for at least 7 years. There has been a change in general manager lately plus a new training manager in place for about 6 months. They make this a gym that I would highly recommend to anyone. My wife and I have a training program that includes weekly visits that deal specifically with our needs as recommended by our trainer. I was a paying member since almost the day they opened. I saw so many employees come and go. There is no access to the entire upstairs if you can not climb stairs. The machines are mostly 10-15 years old. I waited for the manager to finish his work out yesterday so I could use one of the only 4 cardio machines downstairs. The manager told me he can work out anywhere at anytime he wants.. He was disrespectful and very unkind. The machines are old and very basic. The music is so loud you can't talk to other members. I was able to have my membership canceled today and I am so happy. Hopefully the new gym in town opens soon. read more

Members beware. This gym will sign up new members without full disclosure. I did not realize that I was signed up with a 1 year contract when the manager Amber told me that it was month to month. It was only when I went to cancel my membership, that I found out that I was locked in. Once you sign up, the manager has little or no power to make changes to the membership status. I was asked to call their customer service which was based out of the country and was extremely poor quality. They also signed me for a recurring personal training charge without making me aware. I was able to stop this after the first month after a lot of hassle Besides the gym has limited machines and work out area. Buyer beware. Horrible customer service. My son had to make a call to corporate office (call center) and jump through hoops in order to cancel his membership. He receives a call today, weeks later that he must pay late fees b/c the credit card on file had been cancelled when they tried to bill their final cycle. He never received any notice and now they want to charge late fees? So many issues with this place and this is just the cherry on top. Buyer beware! Everything about this place is a scam: from the "training sessions" at an amazing price--hey, they're for half hour sessions, not an hour, so of course they're "cheap" but I didn't expect that when I bought a ten pack. My personal trainer "took a sabbatical" after three sessions and it took weeks to find another trainer. Then it was time for me to depart S. I purchased a personal trainer that I thought was $280 for the whole 6 months. The gym advised I would receive a copy of the contract to review the same day, but I didn't receive it for 4.5 months. They also indicated I could leave the state on vacation and they would freeze my contract. (never happened) I found out 4.5 months after signing up, the contract was $280 every month for six months. The management is not transparent on any of their business dealings and the gym has a pathetic line of work out equipment. I went to this gym over a year ago while visiting my daughter, purchased a weekly pass, but somehow they put me on automatic withdrawal as a permanent member. I had to go through my credit card company to stop payment and to this day, I receive weekly phone calls about my delinquent account. I have spoken to someone on more than one occasion and still continue to get these phone calls. I am a permanent resident of VA where I own my own gym and would never treat my customers in this manner. this is border line harassment at this point so my only choice is to leave bad reviews and contact the Better Business Bureau. This is the third Youfit I've been to in southern Florida and probably my second favorite of the three. The Deerfield beach location is by far the best. This location is split into 2 floors which I imagine would be particularly annoying when it is busier. I was glad to see that there is a decent amount of floor space on the upper level (none for body weight on the lower level) the only thing I noticed that the gym was missing was steps for box jumps, weighted step ups, etc... Staff is nice , location is great, and overall the place seemed pretty clean. I'm sure this isn't a common occurrence, but their music choice was not tasteful to cater to a wide demographic (distasteful rap in my opinion) - not a problem if you work out with headphones though NO SPIN BIKES AT THIS LOCATION read more

Their customer service staff, with the exception of a few sensible people (Thank you Alicia for maintaining your humanity) will actually harass you to put on a mask in between workouts or even when you're LEAVING and DRINKING WATER. As if you still don't need to breathe properly in between sets. Anybody that is employed at a gym and calls themselves a "personal trainer" should know this. It's just common sense. He has caused MANY issues in the time being at Wellington and YouFit will loose many more loyal customers if something isn't done with him. This is an okay gym. It's clean and meets my needs. But the staff are a hit or miss. Some are super friendly and helpful and others are very unprofessional and goof around. One time I was there and a bunch of male gym members were gawking at an attractive girl who was working out. One of the staff members actually told one of the gym members everything he knew about her including her name so he could look her up online, which is a huge privacy issue! I'm also a Classpass member and as I was checking in, the staff member had never heard of Classpass. I opened up the app and showed him how I was signed up, and he was dumbfounded by how the gym would ever participate in such an app. He finally let me in as a courtesy which made me feel like I was in the wrong when it was his mistake and the gym's lack of properly training its employees. read more

I canceled my Youfit membership in October 2022, but the gym continued to charge me a monthly membership fee through January of this year. I had to call several times regarding the recurring charge before someone finally got back to me and stated that the membership was finally canceled. I have now been waiting over a month for a refund of the 3 months' worth of membership fees. I have called 6 times to try and get this refunded, and have been told twice that the money would be in my account "this week" (the last time I was told this was 2 weeks ago). I believe that the only reason a manager called me back the first time about the owed charges is because I left a negative Google review. Hopefully another review will get me a call back, since this seems to be the only way to make progress here. read more

Ridiculous customer service! Long story short - I was a member of ultima before they closed, however I canceled my membership well before they closed because I was moving to North Carolina. I paid $150 cancellation fee and Ultima continued to charge me. I called them up they refunded my money and supposedly canceled my membership. Somehow when you fit took over the Ultima clients I'm now being charged again by you fit. Assistant manager Jenn answered my phone call and said she could do nothing about it. She said she sees my cancellation fee but my membership is still not canceled. She cannot refund my money and I have to now jump through hoops with another company to have them stop billing me. She hung up on me. I have tried to cancel so many times and it's ridiculous that I have to spend my time jumping through hoops to get a company who I never signed up with to stop charging me. Don't do it, you will have to spend hours trying to cancel. Update: Randy the general manager though he couldn't help was polite and helpful, so new advice, steer clear of Jenn, she doesn't know how to resolve issues and has terrible customer service and never listened to my ordeal (talked over me the whole time) as evidenced by Randy not being aware of exactly what I was disputing after Jenn conveyed our earlier phone conversation. read more

The gym offers a good variety of equipment. The staff there are nice. Not too busy. Definitely worth 10 dollars a month.

Decent gym for the basics. Employees can be nice but they pick and choose who they want to enforce the covid rules on. Everyone walks around w no mask and enter with no masks/towels and Erin chose to tell me to put my mask on as I was leaving the gym. Not sure what that was about but if you're going to enforce the rules, make sure you enforce them on everybody and not just one person. Some people take their $8.50 an hour job a bit too seriously. Second, staff don't know the rules, I tried to sign my kid in so he could workout and the first time everything worked out well, then the second they said I couldn't just sign a wavier and drop him off which is different from the first time. Hello Genevieve, I was told by your staff that you are the highest position of management in the Wellington Youfit health club. If this is correct I would like to report an employee Katie, the incident took place on January 10th around 3 pm I was working out and my girlfriend that has attended the Youfit before came to let me know what time she needed to be picked up. As I told Katie that she wasn't going to be working out(she was dressed in a hoodie and jeans) Katie then started asked for a guess pass I have a lime membership card, so I gave it to her even though she would not be using any of the machines. While that is going on another girl walks past us without scanning in or even getting checked. As she scanned me in then there is a problem with the membership she states that I don't have a lime, and she cannot be in the Youfit building. The other female that was let in was White and let in without a bother but a Latino has to be harassed to get into the gym not even to work out. As that was happening I told her that we don't need to use the lime because isn't going to work out. Katie then decides to get into my girlfriends face and tell her she can't be in the building. I tell Katie go away and let her talk to me then Katie decides to revoke my membership. This does upset me because I've been a loyal customer for over 2 years. I then leave and come back with my phone to record the horrible customer service I've had today, I ask for her manager she claimed that she was the regional manager I don't know if that is true but I would hope not. She then proceeded to attack my phone I have attached a video. I would not like this to be the representation of my company, once an employee attacked a customer they should be terminated. It had everything I liked, though there was no free weight squat bar here, they said they might get one soon. There were other free weight options so that was great. This is a terrible gym ever , the worse gym in town . I already cancelled my personal trainer from last month and the guy helped me out said am good to go , am all settled . And i even asked him twice to make sure that am not gonna be charged next month . And he said Yes am not gonna be charged next month . I have been going to this gym for a couple weeks now and every time I have gone it's been a great experience! The entire staff is so helpful and sweet. The gym is very clean. I have to point out the bathrooms because I have been to 6 different gyms in my life time(20 years so far) and these are the cleanest bathrooms! Highly recommend checking out the gym, only down side is they don't have a squat rack yet but I was informed they will be getting one in the near future. read more

This gym stinks. They are scheduled to open at 5am and in last two months there were late at least five times. When I get up at 5 I want a gym I can count on and this isn't it. Then when you try to talk to someone there is no corporate phone number to call. In order to cancel my membership I had to pay $10 even though they were always late. If I didn't pay the fee they wouldn't cancel the membership and would keep charging my card. The few dollars a month I saved wasn't worth it. I'm going back to LA Fitness. I like the gym as a basic gym, not very advanced machines and the free weight area is very small. I am home for the summer so nice its a short time i don't mind going here but there are some problems. The wifi doesn't work half the time, a lot of the machines are out of order and their only water fountain wasn't working so i had to cut my workout short since I didn't want to buy one of the beverages there. I do like the people but they do not come off as super friendly. The parking lot is always crowded but I know that they have no control over it but it is something to think about whenever I want to go workout. read more

Miles the "manager" is one of the rudest, illegitimate, conniving asshole that I've met. I went today 2/9/18 to cancel a fitness session that I had scheduled with a trainer. Money was paid prior however no contract was given how the process would work, Only verbal. Which the verbal aspect included how the 4 week session would play out. I went today to cancel and expected a full refund. Noooo, that didn't happen. Miles made this big ordeal for no reason stating I need a medical note (for reasons I won't state.) I asked for a copy of my contract since Miles the asshole said my payment was non refundable. I told him that wasn't in my original contract and no one discussed that when I signed up for the session with the personal trainer. I asked for a print out of my contract. This dick face ADDED the documents to the print out of my contract. He responded "here it's in your contract." I get home and check my email for my ORIGINAL CONTRACT & those papers aren't included. With that being said, he lacks ethics and morals. I AM DEFINITELY DUE A FULL REFUND FOR A SESSION THAT WAS NEVER DONE WITH A PERSONAL TRAINER AS WELL AS AN APOLOGY FOR LYING and FORGING DOCUMENTS INTO A CONTRACT.
