I visited this gym for a dance class using ClassPass. I did like the class and would probably go back but I think this place has a lot of room for improvement. I went around 7pm so the place was packed. Not sure if they have issues with their AC but it felt warm and stuffy. Checking in was a little weird since the person at the front desk opened an iPad and put it in front of me without saying anything. There was not a form or something for me to fill out, she then started helping her coworker and forgot about me. Then another staff member came and opened the right form and showed me where the class was so he definitely saved the night and was really nice. The instructor came in a little late for class and then had to clean the room since there were weights and equipment all around. I did help moving some stuff so we could get started. The class was high energy and fun but I don't think I would visit to use their machines. read more

Mainly, poor security of stored information. Too many staff members have access to your stored financial information and personal data. SADLY, my account with them was compromised showing excessive charges were placed on my card without my acknowledging or authorizing. Charges that showed sourced from this location. In a world filled with data breaches, this is not good. Advising beware of this location for that reason. As far as a gym, if this had not happened, all appeared pleasant and comfortable. Since this location is quite busy at peak hours, it's best to go at off times but if you're not able to, be prepared to share your machine with other members. Being open 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday evening and 8am to 8pm Saturday and Sunday, this is the best place in the area to have a membership. As a result, most members wear their mask below their nose, many below the chin or don't wear one at all. Freedom baby! There is a "bring your own towel" policy but they don't enforce that either. And, allegedly there's a "clean your sweat puddle" policy. But, no enforcement of that either. Are you sensing a pattern here? Even with new ownership and management this place is still terrible. I have reported the leg press machine broken multiple times and it still isn't fixed. They never stock paper towels and sanitizer to clean the machine, we are in a pandemic still! You tell the staff they just say ok and don't do anything about it. Before I had the simple plan of 16 bucks a month auto pay but I only go to that gym ( previous) At this facility, the do not have a standard one so I had to get the premiere more expensive, however you can bring anyone every day with you and go to any gym in Miami Dade. The negatives first. (I DO NOT LIKE DOING THIS ). The staff is not to friendly, look pissed off most of the time, for like a week they had no paper towels to clean to sanitize. Some staff just look like they do not want to be there, people are full blown on the phone POSITIVE: plenty of parking, avoid the rush hour times around 5 to 9 ( or those hours ). They have a CVS, a Spanish supermarket called El presidente, a booze store (if that your thing). A nail salon, a DD store, a cafeteria and much more. JUST THE STAFF NOT THRILLED. Let's start by being honest here, this is a $10 per month membership gym. Ok we've got that out of the way! The gym has a large selection of machines, cable machines, free weights, and cardio machines (treadmills, stair master, elliptical, and bikes). Really almost everything you need to workout and vary your exercise routine. The gym offers personal trainers, I cannot speak on them simply because I've never used them. The locker room is big and clean. They also have showers, nice touch. They offer plenty of classes from what I can tell, although I've never attended any of them. Here is my number one complaint, weights (dumb bells, plates, and weighted bars) are scattered and often difficult to find the one you want. I blame this mostly on the inconsiderate MIAMI crowd as I've seen this at other MIAMI gyms. Constructive criticism for the management 1. More signs asking people to RE-rack weights after use 2. For the monthly $20 fee every month and no contract this deal is as good as it gets. You Fit is a gym that has basic machines needed for a workout. They have cardio machines, free weights, cable machines, stretching area and what is special about this location is that they have a studio and offer workout classes like Zumba (so much fun) and a bootcamp style class (intense). Not every YouFit offer classes. The only downside to this location is that it is on a one floor open space layout. It gets pretty crowded and you can see EVERYONE working out. Sometimes it feels too crowded in there and it feels like everyone is just looking around. I prefer the Coconut Grove location that has a 2 story split level where the people are divided and more workout space is provided. Also the water fountain needs to be maintenance, Most of the time the water is hot. Parking can also be a nightmare since there's limited space and parking in CVS is a NO-NO because your car WILL get towed. Besides that, it is a great investment in yourself! Do It! read more

I've been attending this gym for the past three weeks. I haven't been in the gym in about 3 years and it feels good getting back into the swing of things again. I love this gym but the down side of it is it's alwayssss crowded. I guess with paying 10 or 20 bucks its understandable. I have noticed that around 5 or 6 in the morning is the best time for me or around 10ish at night. The gym seem to be clean and some actually wipe off the equipment behind themselves. I would recommend whomever is cleaning the water fountains to clean around the nossel where it connects to the metal part. It can be a little dirty at times. Huge brand new gym with an overwhelming assortment of weights and cardio machines. A weight lifter's dream. Multiple free squat racks and cable pulleys. It can get pretty crowded in the free weights area and around the cable pulleys, as dudes tend to work out in pairs or threesomes, and working in doesn't seem to be a concept they're into. But I can usually figure out an alternate solution with all the available options. Youfit does lack in the ab department, no sleeves for hanging leg lifts and no ab wheels, but no gym ever has it all. Membership starts at $10 a month, unheard of. It's clean, bright and has good energy. Free parking in the attached stripmall. People are friendly and real. No surgically enhanced housewives in head to toe Underarmor gear. They have a large separate studio for classes. I've only taken Natasha's Saturday morning yoga class. It is a great basic class for beginners, or people like me who just want to feel good and stretch, without headstands. Hopefully they will add more yoga classes, especially on weekends. Would be great to have a choice of different yoga styles and levels. Hint, hint! The one criticism I have is that they should be checking the bathrooms a little more frequently, as I've seen some gross things. Things grown women should be ashamed of.
