Jamie was very nice, but unfortunately the experience did not meet my expectations. I originally booked with Gigi specifically because I was looking for a lymphatic massage, but she was not there when I arrived. As a first-time client, I explained that I was looking for a lymphatic massage, but the service I received from Jamie did not feel like a lymphatic massage. It was more of a relaxing massage with gua sha used on my scar (which I wasn't expecting) and hot stones. My usual lymphatic massage therapist was out of town, so I was looking for someone else temporarily, but unfortunately this experience didn't work out for me. My daughter was home visiting from college and decided to book us lymphatic massages, a Mom & Daughter pampering day. We drove 30 min to get there and showed up on time for our appts and the door was locked. When they finally opened Gigi welcomed us in but realized she made a big mistake. They double booked so we could not have our massages. She canceled us on the spot. She apologized a lot, but said we needed to come back another day. We were disappointed but she told us don't worry I'll make it up to you and do extra things, like cupping, to make it worth the hassle when you reschedule, and I'll give you a good discount , she said $20 off each. We rescheduled and came back a few days later. My daughter had Gigi and I was given someone else who clearly didn't get the memo about any extras because I got a very basic massage, that at times almost seemed pointless. I'm someone who gets massages regularly and this was not good. My daughter liked Gigi and said she did a great job. She hooked her up with extras like she said, but when we checked out , the discount became $10 off, and my daughter gave her a standard tip...she responded with an attitude saying she did all this extra and deserved more. I'm sorry, but I found it very unprofessional and offensive. My daughter is a college student, but more importantly She promised her/us extra treatments because She made a mistake and wasted our time , canceling our appts upon arrival. I don't think customers should be made to feel bad especially when she offered the extras to compensate. Customer service is important. I've never had a massage canceled on sight. We drove 1 hour round trip and her compensation of "extras and a discount" combined w/an attitude for what was her mistake was disappointing, poor management and customer service. I'd advise anyone to confirm your appt before driving there, and get any promises of upgrades or extras or a discount in writing. We rescheduled and gave them a 2nd chance for that reason, and regretted it. read more

the massage itself was okay, what i didn't like was- a) they have signs up advertising 79$ massage. I walk in and she goes $85! ( or 84$ i can't remember exactly) but still more then the sign. Hi all, I recently was driving through west Torrance and just happened to look around to see what was happening in my community. I was actually looking to see if another business I'd visit from time to time had begun there rebuild. During this excursion I stumbled upon YOUGLOW Wellness Spa. I parked and ventured into the spa, I was greeted by one of the therapists who was very friendly. Gigi gave me a tour of the business and she also share a brochure which detailed other services provided at the spa. The interior decor is warm and very inviting, the massage rooms all seemed to be well maintained and designed for your comfort. I'm a large man and I always look for a massage therapist with strong hands and forearms. Gigi offered me a deep tissue massage with a lymphatic drain to relieve swelling in my surgically repaired foot, ankle and knee. I've never had that service before and was somewhat optimistic about what if any relief I'd get. Surprise surprise surprise, the swelling in my ankle, foot and knee was reduced and relieved. My mobility increased and some of the discomfort that I experienced daily was relieved. Needless to say I'll be returning soon so that I can continue on my journey of better overall health and continued recovery and fitness. The massage is in an individual room, with a heated massage bed, and Jamie is very attentive to my request. The facial with Marina is top quality. Marina explained everything during every step.
