If I could give zero stars, I would. Young and Associates--specifically Erica--has shown me nothing but cruelty and indifference during one of the hardest times of my life. My mother recently passed away, I nearly died myself from sepsis and a heart attack, and after being hospitalized for three weeks, I discovered that my mother's car--one I regularly drove and cherished because it had been in my family for generations--was towed by them at the request of Liberty and Westmont Station. This car, although a 2000 model, has been meticulously maintained since it belonged to my grandmother. It holds immense sentimental value to me. Instead of showing any empathy or basic human decency, Erica at Young and Associates coldly demanded over $1,200--an outrageous sum that I cannot afford as a disabled person--and flat out refused to work with me in any way. She could not care less about my situation, my health, or the fact that this vehicle is one of the last tangible pieces of my family's history. Young and Associates is the perfect example of a predatory towing company--heartless, greedy, and unwilling to treat people with compassion. They don't care if you're sick, grieving, or struggling; all they care about is squeezing money out of you. It absolutely disgusts me that businesses like this are allowed to operate, and I sincerely hope others think twice before ever giving them a dime or allowing them to handle anything of value. Absolutely awful. Looks like I'm gonna have to get on this frigging board to get rid of these a*******. unresponsive. yet, quick to sick their shyster on you for any reason. The knew about the bees by the mail boxes problem here in Budd Lake for a few seasons now. what do they do about it? NOTHING. Yet, here comes the shyster again, threatening to take your house away if you don't pay their ransom. You never see this jerk. Ever. Yet, down comes the edict that they are (robbing) charging you more each month? and for what? won't pay to fix the windows anymore. They're focused on everyone having to buy an expensive new "blue" door and paint their decks. Oh, and they won't replace the decks either. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. To add : Phyllis has given me multiple excuses and different reasons as to why she dropped the ball on my application. I'm a paramedic and was busy ON shift and I missed her call so she simply gave the apartment to someone else. All she cares about is making a profit. Stay far away from her if you have the option. Gotta make the payment on that Mercedes SUV I suppose. She forgot to call me back then told me she was waiting on me. She's a liar and a fraud. Original : I recently had been working with Phyllis to look at an apartment in Woodbridge New Jersey. I was the first person to look at the unit. I immediately told her that I loved it, and that I wanted to apply. That same day, I sent her most of the information that I had even though by the way they have no official renters application, you literally just email them information about employment, pay, and pull your own credit report for them. Within 24 hours I had sent all of the information that they requested. I spoke with Phyllis, and she asked me when I would want to move in, told me there would be no fee, and I asked her what specific ok information they needed for the credit report, to which I immediately pulled and sent over to her. I told her to please let me know, and then I was looking forward to it. Important information to note, everything I was told by Phyllis I absolutely qualified for this apartment. In less than 48 hours, while I was on a busy shift working EMS, she left me a voicemail that she hadn't heard back from me and they were moving forward with another tenant. She also has not responded to my emails as to what exactly happened, and what she meant by that. So apparently from her having absolutely no communication, or getting her information, completely mixed up, because I was very clear about my intentions to rent this unit or I would not have sent her all of my personal information, she simply told me it went to nobody else and has now not returned my calls or emails. Absolutely unprofessional behavior, and poor excuse for the head of a real estate management company. I missed out on a beautiful apartment and now again I am starting from scratch when my lease is up in two weeks while having to also work full-time as a paramedic. I am disgusted and furious. If you have the ability to avoid this company, I would at all costs. It is going to end in a giant headache. read more

I've had a good experience any time i've called in for or emailed my property manager at Young & Associates. I've had some problems with my roof due to the past storms we've had and she took care of it right away without us having to call in 'multiple times' and she has called us with updates. The people that left these past reviews clearly didn't get what they wanted the second they asked for it which is why they're being whiny. It's easy to say 'they work for us' and then forget they don't get to decide how to spend the money we pay into the HOA, it's our board and our by-laws/rules. read more

This has been the worst building Management we have seen. The other reviews are not incorrect. They don't care for the building owners and have no care in the world on what happens in the buildings they manage. They conduct back door meetings with the associations and bypass the owners. The board and association members have free range of what goes on in the building. They get all the benefits and get to do what they want. There are no open meetings, everything is conducted behind closed doors. There is literally no communication with the rest of the owners aside from a 5 or 6 panel board. They don't even run elections and keep owners in the dark. You report issues and they go unresolved for years. Very disappointed with this company. read more

Harvey is the worst property manager I personally had to work with. His company website's states they have 24 hour emergency services. We lost power and PSE&G said we needed to contact our property manager. It took multiple calls and emails to finally reach Harvey 15 hours later. We agreed to meet at a specific time, and Harvey shows up an hour later without a text or phone call. Harvey also mentioned we never pressed "1" for the emergency services. When I pushed back, and said there was only an option to leave a voicemail with the operator which I did multiple times. Harvey had the audacity to say this wasn't an emergency. 15 hours with no power during the middle of the winter with my pregnant wife and two year old son. For Harvey, who had power, this wasn't an emergency. read more

Every one of the reviews is spot on. From the revolving door of CSRs to the person in charge, Harvey, that will not return a call or email and consistently over promises and underdelivers. I have been trying to get Young & Associates to enforce the bylaws of our HOA for 3 years. Unresponsiveness, apathy, lies is what I've received in return. They don't give a crap about anyone! I have the noisiest neighbor upstairs and the rules are 80% of the floor needs to be carpeted. Well I have been fighting with management for months to get them to put carpet In. Many emails to management and NOTHING has been done! We live in the Liberty Square at Wesmont Station community. The HOA managed by Young & Associates has been absolutely abysmal. Their selected vendors are incompetent, lazy, and take shortcuts. They are very good at impressions and present with professionalism, but with no follow through. Pulte dropped the ball on this. Do better. read more

This management company has been horrible. They hire property managers with no experience at all, they don't listen to the unit owners and they have no idea what goes on in the building. They have a hands off approach and will only answer emails they want to answer. Forget about going to the office, they have no time for anyone. The management company only listens to the board which has turned this building into their own little playground. Some board members harass other unit owners that they don't like, send nasty unprofessional letters, while at the same time they break the same rules. They expect people to follow the rules but they don't have to. The corruption is rampant. At least now we have a website where people are trying to share issues and problems in the building as their is literally no transparency in financial or building matters. Harvey from Young & Associates has tremendous experience and brings a lot to the table. If you have a problem, he has a solution. Plain and Simple. He is a no frills, no BS kind of guy, and gets down to business. I think these other reviews are just people who have too much time on their hands. That is the problem with internet reviews... 99% of the people who are satisfied and have busy lives, don't have time to get on the internet and start typing a review. They are happy with their experience, and just keep going in life. 99% of what you find in the review section, are people with way too much time on their hands, have nothing going on, and are upset they weren't "coddled" enough. So unfortunately when a stranger takes a look a the reviews, it seems like there is nothing but people who are upset. This is not the case. It's just a collection of people with no lives. read more

This company on the exterior appears to be professional and thorough. Once you are involved in any type of situation, their true colors come out. They are extremely unprofessional, especially Phillis and the head of the company. They do not treat you with respect. I feel so bad for their employees who go over and beyond in their work. This company does not deserve to have such employees. They seem to take full advantage of them. I have to say, I was a little skeptical at first because to many times, businesses do not live up to the expectations they promise but in this case they have been doing a great job and keeping their word! I've been able to gather so much information and they have been helpful throughout the whole process. If I have any questions they are so responsive and Koriann has been such a delight to talk too! If zero stars was an option, I would choose it. This is the worst management company I have ever encountered. Phyllis Pasqualetto is dishonest, unprofessional and lazy. The top three things are don't want in a management company. She lied about my insurance claim being denied when it was Young & Associates who WITHDREW the claim. She lied to the point I had to retain a lawyer to get the insurance money I was due. My advice? Get everything in writing, as I did, and know your policy limits, what you are entitled to, covered for, etc. If you don't, rest assured you will be lied to and deceived just so they can avoid paperwork and your association's HOA fees going up. read more
