I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with this dealership's service department and would not recommend them to anyone. I brought in my brand-new Ford F-250 with just over 3,000 miles after the check engine light came on. Over the course of the visit, the service team changed their explanation multiple times before finally settling on what they claimed was an abrasion hole in a coolant line. Their explanation was that driving on a muddy road caused the coolant lines to push forward and rub against the underside of the truck, eventually wearing a hole in the line. Based on that claim, they told me the repair would not be covered under warranty and that I would have to pay for it out of pocket. Let me be clear: this is a nearly six-figure truck, marketed by Ford as "Built Ford Tough" and sold as a work truck. The road in question was a well-maintained farm road with road base, not some extreme or abusive environment. The idea that light mud on a farm road could cause internal components to shift enough to damage a coolant line is not only implausible -- if true, it represents a serious engineering flaw in a truck that is explicitly advertised to handle work conditions. When I inspected the underside of the truck, there was zero evidence of damage -- no scrapes, no impact marks, no signs of hitting anything whatsoever. Yet despite this, I was told my only options were to pay for the repair or come pick up the truck. To make matters worse, they told me that if I took the truck without the repair, my warranty would essentially be voided because the vehicle could not be driven in that condition. There was no attempt at open dialogue, no willingness to reasonably discuss the situation, and no advocacy on my behalf as the customer. The situation only changed after I contacted the dealership where I actually purchased the truck. The owner of that dealership personally reached out to this service department and explained that their position was unreasonable. Only after that call did this dealership suddenly agree that the repair should be covered under warranty. Even more frustrating, once they reversed course, the technician called me acting as if he had been "pushing for this all along." That is simply not true. I have text messages clearly stating that I needed to either pay for the repair or pick up the truck. The sudden change in tone felt like an attempt to save face once they realized I might share my experience publicly. Bottom line: this dealership did not put the customer first, was not honest or consistent, and only did the right thing after outside pressure from another dealership. I have zero confidence in their service department. I have since shared this experience with multiple family members who have purchased vehicles from this dealership, and they've all stated they will no longer service or buy vehicles here. This is my first Ford truck, and so far I am anything but impressed -- largely because of how this dealership handled a straightforward warranty issue on a nearly new vehicle. Never use their service department, they are either completely incompetent or completely lazy but probably both. Took our Subaru in for an oil change they drained my transmission oil then filled my oil up till it was pouring out the top and called it good as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot I knew something was wrong I had to pull over and check it out and then figured it out myself I took it back and they tried to argue with me that I did that and not them. They told me we are closing you'll have to pick it up tomorrow. So I asked for a loaner they brought out a car that had muddy dog foot prints and fur everywhere and was out of gas. When I told them it was dirty they told me that was all they had and it was that or nothing and that they were doing me a favor by letting me use it. They still never apologized for the mistake or even acknowledged that they had done anything wrong. read more

Deliver the services that are paid for. Advertised price on their website is $199 for a platinum detail, "showroom assume"; soo make an appointment and drop the car off. At pickup, the price is $249 ($263 w/tax, how can they go through the trouble to print signage for the dealership but not update the website?) and the car still has bugs, wax residue, and leaves under the hood. I know they would NEVER put the car on their lot this way, but they don't hesitate to take my money. Expected WAY more than this from them. They were courteous, professional, attentive, and actually listened to me when I explained the issues when I dropped off the car. Issues that I was told in Ogden could not be fixed, were taken care of here. My only negative was related to communication. I had a morning appointment and did not get a status update on my car until the end of the day. Thankfully, first thing in the morning they were able to get the last issue fixed and the car was ready for pickup by 9:30 am the following day. Went to look at new vehicles. Found one and was told that we were financed for it. Put down payment down signed hard copies and took possession of it and took it home. Next day received phone calls saying we had to come back in and sign electronic papers that hard copies was not good enough. I live hour and a half away from dealer. 2 weeks later had not heard anything from dealer or finance company. Kept getting hard pulls on credit report so started calling dealer and phone calls were not returned. Took vehicle in for first service and finance was not there and so I talked with GM and was told that finance was fine and should hear from shortly. This is now 3 weeks. By end of 3 rd week got notice from finance company that we were not financed called GM Dave on Saturday to find out what was going on. Said he would check on it and call us back on Monday. Did not receive call from him. Told our trade in was on a 21 day payout and to continue to make payments on trade and pay full cover insurance on both vehicles for a month. Towards end of fourth week got call from finance stating that we were financed through another company and ask to come in and sign papers. Still had not heard anything back on truck from when I took it it to be serviced and thought they were waiting on parts and had not driven truck in 2 weeks. Stopped in and told them I was not signing papers again and wanted my traded in back and pick up personal items from new truck and was told then that I could have had the new truck back same day as I dropped it off. Went to check on trade in as I had put in insurance claim for a couple of minor repairs and could have it back in a week. Finally got my old trade in back and asked about getting the down payment back and was told no that there was a restocking fee and damage to new vehicle from rocks chipping paint. This vehicle was sold in the state of Utah and there is a law stating that mud flaps are to be installed on vehicles with tires that stick out past the body to prevent damage rock chips to other vehicles and yours. This whole process was a breach of contract. Had I known that the vehicle was never financed to begin with I would have never taken possession of it. Dropped of our 2019 Expedition that would drain the battery if left the truck went unused for more than 4-5 days. For $170 they reported that they could not find any problem. 3 weeks later we leave the vehicle for 7 days while on a trip and the battery is dead to the point where it could not be charged. After replacing the battery my neighbor discovered the issue in 10 minutes with a multi meter. How could a certified mechanic not figure this out? Don't waste your money. read more

I was initially going to finance through them and took over a week to get anything about price out of them. Decided towards the end that I wanted to do the financing through my credit union and just take a check up to them. "That deal is not going to work for us" is all I got. I will never go back to Morgan Young for AGAIN!!! They are liars and crooks. My husband and I were in a wreck and we needed a truck. My husband and I went through our bank to set up the loan, all we had to do was pick out the truck and send the paper work to our loan officer. My husband and I were waiting for almost three hours once we picked out a truck. Come to find out they ran our credit without even telling us or asking us if they could run OUR CREDIT!!! Their loan adviser told us they went through the back door of our bank instead of going through our loan officer who by the way was waiting for the paperwork for the loan of the truck to be faxed over. Than we were lied to and said it would be a bumper to bumper warranty. We have not even has the truck a year. It started having problems took it back and apparently the bumper to bumper warranty was a fluke we paid for an extra warranty that wasn't even a true warranty. They wouldn't listen to what we were looking for. We eneded up with a truck that was not covered on this so-called warranty. 950 dollars later on top of a loan and OUR CREDIT being ran WITHOUT US KOWING ABOKT IT. I purchased a used truck from Young Ford in Morgan about a year ago. I feel like that at every turn I was not only taken care of but taken advantage of. I needed a new vehicle badly and needed to trade my current vehicle. They low balled me very hard on the trade. Then they upsold me on extended care, ding and dent and paint repair. I had just pumped about 5gs into the current vehicle and the thought of never paying for repairs again was very appealing to me at the time. Ok so I was not in a good purchasing state. I wrote it off as my eagerness etc... Fast forward a year later I have some very minor dings I wanted to get fixed. These are half the size of a golf ball and they said they were over 4 inches and would cost $250 to repair. I told them no way just perform the oil change. In the mean time we played a round of golf, after 18 holes I inquired to the status of the truck. They said because I was 20 minutes late (due to traffic as the dealership is 40 minutes from my house and there was road construction) they had to push back my oil change. Essentially telling the customer its your fault (not a good business practice in my eyes). So finally get the truck back 4.5 hours later. We were already running behind so it wasn't until I was halfway home I noticed the check engine light was on in my vehicle, it definitely was not on when I dropped the vehicle off. So not only did I not get any repairs to the truck that I paid an obscene amount of money for in an upgraded care package, I received the vehicle in worse shape than when I dropped it off! The tech knowingly delivered a vehicle back to the owner with a check engine light on! Upon calling the dealership to vent my frustration there solution is for me to take it to a car parts store and ask them to run codes on it. I am about to start 3, 13 hour shifts in a row. This place is the absolute worst. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother. You will be disappointed, frustrated and angry every step of the way. This is literally the first review positive or negative I have ever written about any company in my life. Salesman was excellent, very genuine and knew the vehicle. There was no haggling because this was a fleet purchase through my husband's employer. The problem came when they wouldn't give us a purchase contract to take to our credit union for financing. They literally had us trapped wanting us to use their financing. Then we paid extra up front for some accessories. Once the work was done we realized we were overcharged several hundred dollars. We went around and around in circles for weeks. Worst car buying experience I have ever had!! Went in on an internet price, driving two hours past several other reputable Dodge dealerships. I even called before leaving to verify the vehicle availability and pricing information. After test driving the vehicle I found they would not honor their advertised price, and pushed to sell me the vehicle at MSRP. I battled with him and the sales manager for three hours to get them to honor their pricing, but they did not. Nor did they give me fair market value for my trade in. Danny lepelley pushed me into a lease when I wanted to purchase the vehicle out right. I asked three times to see a lease agreement before signing, but he did not deliver one. We purchased our truck here a year ago and had the best service. We purchased an extended warranty and have since been back to get our oil changed, and again, great service. However, this last time I took our truck in to get a front end alignment and oil change. While I was there, I mentioned the engine light had been turning off and on and asked them to check it. I assumed this was covered under the warranty since they'd probably be replacing the parts under said warranty anyway. Two and a half hours later they told me the diagnostic came back "inconclusive" and that they couldn't tell me what was wrong with it. Either the catalytic converter or an O2 sensor. I went back to pay and they informed me the diagnostic wasn't covered under the warranty and that it was $99. (It's actually $110 because you have to pay $10 because the "customer is to pay misc shop supplies for repair order." I asked if I still had to pay since they couldn't tell me what was wrong and Paul Parry told me yes. I told him that wasn't fair. Had I been told that if the test came back inconclusive that I'd still have to pay I wouldn't have had them check it. It would have been nice for them to check under the warranty first to see if I had to pay for it anyway, as well. Knowing either of these two things, I would have just stuck with an oil change and alignment and waited for it to be on constantly to get it checked. When my husband later called about it and asked Mr. Parry about having to pay for an inconclusive test he simply said "I don't have an answer for you." My husband informed him we should have just lit our $100 bill on fire. That this is similar to charging someone just to try on a pair of pants. We understand paying their guys and would have been happy to pay for shop time, but not a full "diagnostic." He didn't have anything to say. The following day, my husband called the "If you're unsatisfied" phone number on the receipt and nobody returned the message he left. On the way home the following day I took my truck to AutoZone, they plug into your vehicle and can tell you in less than 10 minutes what's wrong. It's an O2 sensor, by the way. We loved our original service so much that after we had our baby in May we decided to get either a Ford Escape or Explorer and were planning on going back to Young Ford in Morgan. However, after paying $178.87 for a free oil change and front end alignment we will never go there again. Young Subaru is closer anyway. I'd rather given Morgan my business, but not anymore. read more

Please read the other negative reviews - I thought I would give them a chance and ended up wasting my time. I scheduled an appointment to see a specific vehicle. I arrived and met the salesman assigned to help me. When I arrived at my appointed time, First the guy thought I was from Las Vegas (I live 35 minutes from this dealership and not in Las Vegas). Then he didn't know which vehicle I was there to see, once I reminded him, he seemed confused, then he went in to see the manager. After a 10 minute wait, the salesman returned with the sales manager to inform me the vehicle was taken to their sister dealership just prior to my arrival. They offered to have me wait 30-45 minutes for the vehicle to return, I chose not to wait out of frustration. I thought they would follow-up with me the next day - that didn't happen. Later in the evening of the next day I received an email notice the vehicle I inquired on had been sold. Needless to say, the prior reviews of Young Ford in Morgan Utah are true, read an heed. Had a rear end u joint repair with yoke replacement on ford pickup. After the work was done the rear ended started leaking. After researching there is a seal that should be replaced when it is torn apart. They neglected to replace seal and now will have to pay for the same labor to replace seal. Service dept was nice but offered a meager discount on labor to fix problem. Have been going to this dealer for over 10 years and level of service has declined since young has taken over. Will be going else where and have had similar experiences at young dodge also. When the local owners sold out the service has suffered. read more

Young Ford in Morgan service department is awful. I had an experience recently where they dropped the ball completely. It took 7+ weeks to get my car back. We had extended warranty cover a repair to replace the engine block. We were notified by Wade it was covered 1.5 weeks into the process. Much to our dismay the vehicle sat in their service department for 33 days without contacting the warranty. When we learned this we reached out again to Ford Morgan to call them on their lie and they beat around the bush and finally got started. Every time we communicated it was on our end to call never theirs. All the while were never given a rental for our trouble. They never called to follow up until day 48 to let us know there was another issue. It took another 5 days after till our car was complete. Nick the service manager was unwilling to compensate us in anyway except an oil change. Ridiculous since I will never trust them with my vehicle again. They don't know how to communicate and realized they were caught in a lie multiple times but were unwilling to remedy the situation. I made multiple attempts to allow them to rectify and they were unwilling. Save yourself the time, heartache, and money and go to place where they care about you and will do it right. Ford Morgan is awful. Beyond awful I'm amazed they are in business. read more

I wish Yahoo would let me give 0 Stars. Started out as any dealership process does...you see a truck you take a drive...you hear their offer you counter offer.... They counter offer....then you go over specific details you want you strike a deal and agree. Rob Finklea was my salesman and we worked out an agreement which included a 2nd key, (Rob checked to make sure before we bought), a full tank of gas and the "lowest fees and taxes in the state"! Well ... the taxes may be lower in Morgan but the added ETCH Theft Protection fee of 299.00 isn't. when I said I didn't want their ETCH Theft protection they told me to my face it was mandatory and I had to pay for it to buy the truck. shame on me for not reading all the fine print before signing. Their contract states clearly that the ETCH fee is NOT required to purchase from Young Automotive.... Though the finance guy Insisted that it was. the 2nd key was supposedly at another dealership and they promised to mail it out the next day....it never arrived. the full tank of gas ended up being 3/4 a tank and only after I check before driving off, finding a half tank and insisting that fill it as agreed. the response I got was "are you serious dude" and eventually 25.00 worth of gas or approx. 1/4 of a tank was added leaving me with ¾ a tank. Petty...maybe but if they had no intention of fulfilling it then why did they agree to it? Jump ahead 2 weeks and still no 2nd key. I contacted Rob who then told me that the other store made a mistake and didn't actually have one. I asked if Young Automotive would still make good on the deal....Rob told me "it wasn't up to him his bosses would have to work it out." a week later and no word. I reached out again. eventually Rob's boss called. He told me that Rob shouldn't have told me I would get a 2nd key and they don't provide a 2nd key. This obviously was not the desired response. Long story short, I was told that unless I was going to be completely happy with my experience that Young Automotive would NOT provide me a 2nd key or help pay for a 2nd key. I ask, how can I be completely happy with my experience when I am treated dishonestly and salesmen say things like "are you serious dude" when asked to honor our negotiated agreement. My experience with Young Ford in Morgan is one of extreme dishonesty, deception and mistrust. Stopped into Young Ford while traveling across the country after noticing my blinker going haywire. Though it could be an electrical issue as I was towing a trailer. It was after 5pm on a Friday, and I met Craig at the service desk. He came out and checked over it and we realized it was a simple burned out bulb. Said although the guys were getting ready to leave he would take care of us. While the bulb was being swapped I walked in to settle the bill ready to pay a bit higher of a dealer price and a service charge for labor, just wanting the issue fixed and to get back on the way. Craig said no charge and told us they take care of folks as much as they can, a handshake, and we were on the road. As small as this issue may be, it was refreshing to be dealt with so straightforward and quick, even given closing hours on a Friday, with care and regard.
