    I am so disappointed that this place is exactly what you would expect from a "used car" dealer. We recently purchased a car while on a road trip and was told by "Boyd" that the spare key would be mailed to our home. One month later, I called inquiring about the keys and I was told "sorry, there are no keys." Followed with a text telling me that Boyd doesn't remember the conversation and would never say that. Also, they would not take responsibility because they don't make a lot of money on consigned cars? Okay....so I'm just a customer making up a conversation that was had? And now you're not going to fix the situation because the car was "consigned" and you would lose money? I don't know what planet this would be considered customer service. I'm not trying to get something that wasn't promised. Save your time and energy and do not buy a car from here. Just go to a legitimate business that will actually take care of you and make sure you are a satisfied customer.

    I purchased my 2016 Mercedes Benz from this dealership back in August of 2020. The experience I had working with Boyd was great and I loved the car I had purchased. Well a year and a half later a guy name Jared Thompson contacts me stating that he needed to retrieve my car because my finance company sent them a "notice of demand" letter because they failed to provide my valid DL with my paperwork. When I purchased the car I had just moved from California and I only had my CA identification card (which they accepted) and I was able to still drive off with the car. Boyd told me to get my temporary UT Drivers License asap which I did about a week or two later and provided him a copy of it. Well I guess they never submitted that to my finance company because a year later when I hit a financial hardship with my finance company I had filed a temporary "loan modification" request with my finance company as they were more than willing to help me out being that I was on temporary disability. I guess by me submitting this modification request it brought up the paperwork that the dealership submitted when I purchased the car back in Aug 2020 and they noticed that they did not provide my UT drivers license. So because of that the finance company automatically assumed it was ID fraud and demanded that the dealership pay my car off or (buy my car back) and completely undid the loan because of improper paperwork. Fast forward to Jan 18 2022 Jared contacted me stating that they had to cut a check to my finance company and pay the car off and now they owned my vehicle again. Mind you NO ONE from the dealership contacted me to say hey we received this letter etc etc do you have a your UT DL so we can provide this to the finance company as they are wanting us to pay off the loan because of some paperwork error on our behalf ... instead they cut the check out to the finance company and came after me for the car stating that they wanted to work with me and help me get financed with a different bank or else they would need to have the car repoed. I have NEVER in my life had anything like this happen to me so when I called to clarify with my finance company as to what was going on they pretty much said it was a "bad deal" with the dealership because of the ID they submitted and I needed to contact them for more info as the dealership already sent a check to pay the loan off. Well when I contacted Jared he seemed nice at first wanting to see when he can come pick up the car or when I can drop it off... I BS him and said I was not home as I was needing more time to find out legally what rights I had since this whole situation didn't seem right and had nothing to do with me. He continued to act sympathetic to me being put in such a situation and said I would be reimbursed for ALL the payment I have made while I had this car and he would help me get financed for another car if not the same car I already had. Well after telling him I was not home he texts me 5 min later saying he was outside of my apartments and sees the car under the carport? So I go downstairs and he continues to act like he is sympathetic to the whole situation and says he needs the keys for the car which I foolishly surrendered as I did not want a repo truck taking the car out of my apartment complex. Let me tell you once this guy got the car he became very nasty and unprofessional as I had more questions to ask once I received my reimbursement which was nothing close to what I was expecting. Instead of simply taking accountability for their mistake he decided to try and belittle me and my financial situation I was in! I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone who treats their customers like this! Read the screenshots of the text between myself and Jared from the last pic (which is the beginning of the text) to the first one which is the end of our text. Idk why it posted the texts backwards.

Mr. Hazen is the manager and handled the trade in with my son's car smoothly. So, I had written this review before the end of the sales and it's set up this way. I recommend waiting until all sales are final and here's why. We get to the last guy Mr. Laird and found out there's a tracker put into the car and you get charged just under $1500 for that. No choice. I didn't like that at all. We let it go since it was already in the car. Not right though.

They agreed to refund the full amount of the GAP insurance and Warranty we didn't want. Colton has arranged a loaner car, and the vehicle is in the shop getting repaired the right way hopefully. Once this is done, money refunded (still waiting) and the car has been fixed satisfactorily, I will update the overall rating. I'll keep you updated if they follow through. Here are a couple of things to be aware of: 1) They will try to sell you a vehicle monitoring system that is $50 GPS tracking unit that is connected to your OBDII system. They wanted $1799 for it, and they say it can't be removed. It has two tabs to remove the unit in about 10 seconds; Later the salesman said we could pay for a year then they will remove it.... this was a complete lie. Don't Pay it! 2) They tried to add on a carbon credit fee of $200 which no one could explain what it was. 3) Their dealer fee is $699 which is on the high side and the highest I've come across in Utah. 3) Branded cars have no manufactures warranty left, you have zero warranty on their cars. They will offer you a warranty and in my son's case they said it was $2,200 off but the contract was $4500 for a warranty, he thought it was $2200 total????? 4) The next morning after driving the car home he noticed the trunk was leaking, the taillights were full of moisture, and the trunk is out of alignment. We had an autobody tech look at it and he said there were numerous panels out of alignment and the car should not have left the shop. We went into the dealership Monday morning and asked to return the car and get our down payment back. They said it's his fault and he should have checked the vehicle (it was dark at night when he saw the car).

Took 3 weeks to get the roof rack, it was evident the salesman had totally forgotten about it. As I was getting my Utah license about 30 days later, it occurred to me to check the plate status. The state hadn't received any paperwork! Called EV auto and got a runaround, that they go through a "3rd party vendor" for titles and they didn't have it. I didn't buy the car from a 3rd party-- I bought it from you. EV express mailed me an extension tag, and when the title finally came in the salesman walked it into the DMV. So 3 stars for the recovery. However I'm certain that if I hadn't checked and kept following up, I would have been driving on an expired tag for who knows how long.

    DO NOT GO HERE -- Read Before You Bring Your Car In!…read more I've tried to give this dealership's service department the benefit of the doubt multiple times -- both for my personal car and through my company's fleet -- and every time, it's been a disaster. I brought in a recently purchased car for a recall and diagnostic. Appointment was for 7AM -- no follow-up until the next day. They sent a generic inspection video, but the advisor had no idea what parts were needed and told me my whole front end was loose. He told me to take it to a body shop. So I took it to Gerber Collision -- they said the only issue was a single loose bolt on the radiator support. That's it. Even they were shocked that Ford didn't just tighten it on the spot. To make matters worse, my entire driver's side was covered in grease -- handprints, footprints -- a total mess. They said they'd "detail it." Yeah, right. I spoke to Dustin (service manager) who apologized, acknowledged other customers had the same issues, and promised they were "restructuring." He asked for another chance. I agreed. Brought my car back. New advisor, better start... then it went downhill again. Two more weeks passed with barely any updates. The tech (who was actually great) told me the axle boot was torn and they'd give me a deal to fix it. I got a competing quote from Egan Auto (they're fantastic, btw) and sent it to the advisor. They finally responded a day later, agreed to match it -- but ignored my follow-up questions entirely. Left voicemails, texts, no response. Finally called Dustin again. This time? He blew me off and said he'd "use it as a training tool." That's it. They had my car two weeks and wasted my time, again. Bottom line: * Terrible communication * Unorganized * Sloppy, careless techs (grease everywhere) * Zero follow-through * Management doesn't care Take your car to Egan Auto instead. Both of the previous places we almost bought at lied to us, tried to rip us off, the whole lot. Finding my wife a good "mom car" had been an absolute nightmare. Then, we came to Hedberg Solomon. We were very wary when we got here, because of our experiences elsewhere. They were pretty busy when we showed up, but we told them what cars we were interested in, and they handed us the keys and let us go take a look on our own! When we were ready for a test drive, they just took a quick copy of my wife's driver's license and we went on our way! When we got back from our test drive, we got super friendly and courteous assistance applying for financing. He even went the extra mile and asked a credit union to match another's great rate! Everything went through swiftly and easily. I didn't get the guy's name that was helping us somehow.. but he was the nicest guy, possibly one of the owners? We were in and out in less than an hour. And it could have been even quicker. We probably took around a 20 minute test drive. I would return here in a heartbeat. Don't listen to the other review, if it was so bad to leave a 1 star review, don't you think he'd be a little more specific as to why HIS experience was so horrible? Next time I need a car, I will be checking here first.

    Scam AF. Stay away. Bought a car from them. Seemed too…read moreseamless and too good to be true. Things looked good enough on a test drive. Defrost didn't work, AC only pushed out the center vents, check engine light came on the following morning after I took it home. Sunroof wasn't working (I knew that part) but then I found out the sun roof was leaking. they made me jump through a million hoops To try to get it to pass an emissions test, which that should have been handled by them before it was sold. replaced the catalytic converter multiple times with their mechanic jay's tire pros (They where nice but I believe jays is involved In fudging paperwork For soloman) They also had me on about 4 consecutive temporary PAPER plates (rear window had so much tint I had to deal with a paper plate on the outside of my car) then they said we can't get spend anymore money on a temporary plate and had me driving around with an expired plate out of my control. MVED should have these guys shut down.
