There's no greater pleasure in life than a Thai yoga massage. The stretching and contortion is the…read morekind of bodywork that doesn't just bring on pain, but it fixes things. LV Thai Massage & Spa sounds like it could be any generic massage spot off Spring Mountain, but the reviews suggested this could be a wonderful experience. And thankfully, they were right. Located in a low key plaza just outside of the University area, the signs for the place aren't obvious. It turns out it's located in a building that looks like it was once a former local bank or old school office in a brick laden exterior with plentiful parking. The space is calm and tidy and the atmosphere they've setup means is meant to set a tranquil mood, which I appreciate. The rooms are private and some of them have the ceiling cross bars, which is a must for yours truly. Backwalking is something I've preferred in Chinese reflexology for the deep tissue massage, but the Thai version might take it to a new level. There is a consultation with the reception and masseuse prior to every reception to identify areas to focus on, pressure level, and lingering injuries. My massages here have been excellent and all masseuses have been good about keeping the pain to a minimum. The signature Thai massage ($100) is the one I appreciate the most, since it focuses on tension and flexibility. Choose a combo ($90-130) massage and they'll throw in some Swedish techniques that definitely give another edge to the experience. Generally the massages start anywhere from $80-150 an hour. Add-ons in the form of aromatherapy can be tacked on, as well as other services such as hot stones, cupping, and acupuncture. Appointments and masseuses can be chosen online and the staff is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and excellent at what they do. ____________ My photos: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lv-thai-massage-and-spa-las-vegas?userid=ysCBsXWPB-LAiewVS3jZfQ

There is parking right in front of the entrance, and the restrooms are located on the right and the front desk on the left. They had me fill out an intake form in a waiting room, where they had complimentary water and tea. The place smelled very fragrant, like frankincense. I had Dede at my last session and she was great! For a Swedish Massage, she didn't go too light but also didn't leave me in pain like deep tissue. She was also very nice. I will definitely be back! Booking is easy through Vagaro, and you can even text them to reschedule your appt.

Hey yall, $30…read more(4-6pm everyday) at this LOVELY spa!! I went for my first time after they were closed for renovations. I loved every second of it! Because it was my first time, I received a light tour and my robe and locker instructions with sandals! Wow! 7 star service!! The ambiance is so beautiful inside!!! Breathe taking!!! *** just make sure to bring a bathing suit & change of clothes as well as a hair comb or brush*** None the less, I used my time wisely!! 30 mins in the co-ed bath pool, which was just me, 30 mins in the jacuzzi, 30 mins in the sauna & steam room, then the last 30 mins I took a shower and did my hair then lounged! It was perfect timing for me. I'm going back today b/c my guy friend invited me. He also wants me to come to the POOL outside. I'm going to workout at the gym as well. Love the VIRGIN property!!

There's really only one amenity: a beautiful heated pool/hot tub area. Massage was lovely. I requested light to medium touch and had a male massage therapist...unlike so many places I've been to he actually did perfect pressure while still undoing knots. I fell asleep lol. Also there's been times when I've been uncomfortable with choices male therapists have done, but had 0 issues there. Not sure if i'd ever come back because the price was steep, but lovely experience if you can get one.

When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk and we had to call the phone number to have someone come down. One employee was eating lunch while the other started our hair analysis. We were then taken to the treatment room and asked to remove our tops and cover with a towel. Once we were in that state, the door to the room was left open to the public, which felt extremely unsafe and unprofessional. The service itself was also not what was advertised. The Thai hair shampoo/massage is listed as a 60-minute treatment, but the actual shampoo portion lasted maybe 30 minutes. It also says it includes a neck and shoulder massage and arm massage, but those lasted about 2 minutes each, if that. Additionally, one technician did not know how to properly blow dry my friend's hair and they had to switch people midway through. We also paid for an add-on treatment, but honestly we are not even sure if we actually received it. Overall the experience felt rushed, disorganized, and uncomfortable. Between the lack of privacy and the shortened services, it did not feel like a professional spa experience at all.

My husband bought 2 Groupons for a 90 minute massage with body scrub. He booked them both for 7 PM and then just never got a confirmation until he followed up with them. Whoever emailed him back confirmed a couples 90 minute massage for 7 PM. We arrived and there was only one masseuse. When I walked in, she was on speaker phone telling an employee to come back because we were already here. There was nothing beforehand to talk if I needed certain places worked on or anything like that, she just jumped right in after we changed. After 40 minutes into my 90 minute couple's massage, the second masseuse arrived. She also brought her 2 kids with her and their iPad. We could hear the kids walking around, talking and their iPad for the next 90 minutes in the waiting room because the staff kept our door cracked open. It felt like we were in someone's apartment getting a massage rather than a relaxing spa treatment. When my appointment was done, you could hear my masseuse chatting with the kids on top of the iPad noise. We ended up staying 40 minutes past the time we should have been finished so that my husband could get the full 90 minutes in. The second my husband was done and the masseuse was barely out of the room, my husband said it was the worst massage he'd ever had, she kept elbowing his bone and that it felt like she was trying to tear his ACL. He said that he wasn't tipping but I asked him to please tip something because the massage for mine was good. There was no water for him or asking how he felt or any of the post treatment stuff that happens at other massage places. I got to listen to my husband complain the entire drive home how he thought his masseuse wasn't trained or must have been brand new. I feel sore today from the deep tissue massage and I'm bummed that this place isn't running as professionally as it should because I liked the actual massage part of my treatment but my husband hated his.

The facility was clean, well stocked, well maintained, and everything was in service. With any spa treatment, you have all day access to their amenities including a large jacuzzi, various baths, wet and dry sauna, Arctic room, showers stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, a waiting area with complimentary use of a LED mask and a leg compression machine, various snacks, fruits, and drinks including a customizable sparkling water and coffee machine, and locker access. Customer service was top notch. Everyone from the front check in desk to the ladies helping to restock towels and bathroom amenities were all professional and helpful. I opted to try their new Aescape massage which is a massage conducted by a robot. You are given workout attire to wear and once in the room, you lie down and start your self guided and customizable massage controlled by the tablet in front of you. It scans your body and shows you visually which part of the body the robot is working out. You can control the pressure, type of music, and area you want to focus on. The robot's hands are heated so it felt like a human was massaging me! I wouldn't say it's equivalent to a human masseuse but worth a try! TIP: make sure to have ride share drop you off by the Augustus Tower. Once you enter, take the elevator up to the spa floor. Unfortunately ride share will only pick you up at the coliseum valet which is on the other side of the hotel so do not order your ride share until you're closer to that location.
