My mom recommended the coat be taken to Maple Fashion's. To repair the rip/hole they suggested to take a piece of wool fabric from inside the coat pocket and thread the material together. And that is exactly what they did. The coat looks like it has never been ripped/brand new. I am truly amazed at their work.

I dropped it off here and within 2 weeks they put a completely new lining in, they even recreated the pockets and the decorative trim on the edges of the lining. It looks just as good as new (and will likely last even longer since the material they used feels even more sturdy). I've used this place in the past for simple tailoring jobs like getting my suits fitted or pants hemmed, so I knew they did good work, but the quality and attention to detail on this repair was amazing.
