The rally was only a day away, the shop was full and I showed up without an appointment. James and the crew had my scoot on the lift and turning wrenches in 15 minutes. They worked tirelessly in an effort to get me to the event I'd dreamed of attending for most of my life. That's when we found hundreds of large metal shavings left inside the engine, from the rip-offs at Ramjet. The repairs included tearing the engine down several times, and flushing and digging out the large shavings. Work on my bike never stopped, until it was rolling again. James let me camp in his yard and treated me as an old friend for the 2 weeks it took to finish the repairs. They searched the entire country to find replacement cams, lifters and high flow oil pump to get my baby back on the road....DURING COVID! I don't possess the words needed to speak as highly as they deserve. My deepest thanks, gentlemen.

The Service Dept. was able to service my bike and leave it running in tip top operating condition, just in time to enjoy this Fall weather. My bike sat for a year and a half in my garage needless to say the fuel system became an issue. After discussing my situation with Cody the Store Manager we were able to get my bike there and they started on the repairs, a week later my bike was ready Just purring like a kitten. Adam the service Advisor recommended some additional repairs which at the time I could not afford, although I did let him know I would try and get the issue resolved sooner than later. I am seriously considering trading my bike in on a newer one perhaps a 2018 Indian Scout Bobber? Still trying to negotiate with Cody a mutually agreed upon deal. Cody is very appreciative of former, retired and Active Duty Military members and is willing to squeeze blood out of a turnip if he has to, to win your business. I am waiting to see if we can shake hands on a great deal for both of us. In the event that we can't, I still want to praise his management style and most of all, his willingness to go above and beyond the required due diligence in customer service. He is a very tough but fair negotiator. I recommend his shop to any of my friends and coworkers for servicing their bikes. Be careful. I dropped off my Yamaha R1 back in August for three main things, plus a basic oil and oil filter change: (1) diagnosis of a jumping gear problem; (2) replacement chain and sprockets; and (3) replacement fork seals (plus, new fork oil). Although there were several problems along the way, the biggest issues were threefold. First, Aubry never rides the bike. Not when he charges for "diagnosis" and not after he does work on it. He said that his insurance does not allow him to ride the bikes. Be realllllly careful about letting anyone work on your bike when they won't test out their own work afterward. And, diagnosis without a test ride? Yikes. Second, Aubry never fixed my main problem and dodged accountability for it. My fork seals continued to leak oil after Aubry "fixed" them. In fact, the first time I attempted to pick up my bike (I ended up paying for five cab rides trying to pick up the bike), there was fork oil pooled up on the outside of the forks and dripping down through the brakes. (Waaaaay worse of a problem than I had to begin with!) I refused to ride it out for safety concerns. Aubry apologized, kept the bike another week, and returned it to me with only slight leakage. He said that some leakage was normal, and I should ride it some to see if it would stop. The oil leakage never stopped. Third, even after contacting Aubry about continual fork oil leakage, problematic chain tightness, his "diagnosis" process, a dead battery (from being at the shop and maybe turned on a lot but never charged?), and more, Aubry did not offer to resolve anything. In fact, he explicitly refused to talk to me on the phone. He said that he preferred text because it provided a historical record of exchanges. He then stated that he had a lawyer and was not afraid of lawsuits. (Mind you, I never brought up a threat of litigation. I just asked for a phone call and a conversation.) He then told me to take my bike to another shop and get a second opinion on everything he had done. I did take my bike to another shop. Every single concern that I brought up to Aubry was valid. Even the chain was so tight that the second shop had no idea how it had not yet snapped. I don't pretend that my experience will be everyone's experience. However, my experience was stressful, unhelpful, and expensive. Not only did I pay for all of the above services and now have to pay someone else to do most of them all over, but I had to pay for several, extra cab fares because of problems with Aubry's work and because Aubry isn't often at his shop (and then when it sounds like he will be there - he's not). The fact that Aubry never test rode my bike - even after taking off the forks and changing out the sprockets - is a huge red flag for safety. The fact that Aubry refused to speak on the phone and brought up his lawyer almost immediately after I listed out the problems that I had had with this whole experience - was a bully move and lacked all accountability and professionalism. Please just be careful. At least upon meeting him to drop off my bike, he seemed like a nice, soft spoken, polite guy. Everything that came after was a clusterf**ked nightmare.

I pulled the spark plugs on my 2007 Honda vtx1300 8000 miles. The front 2 were lean (red) the back…read more2 were rich (black) , I changed them it took me 15 minutes pop the cover replace spark plugs 9 dollars each. I took off the air filter cover and watched the carb deliver fuel, obviously dirty carb. causing the rough idle and shaking. I took it to Star cycle repair to have the carb (1) rebuilt. I agreed to 8 hours labor to rebuild the carb 840.$ which was excessive because a rebuild kit can be had for 15. ‐ 30. dollars, a new carb can be had for 500.$ On picking up the bike I see an extra 300. was tacked on to the bill. I paid the diagnosis fee which I did 157.50 the one hour labor to replace spark plugs which had only 9 miles on them (1 plug replaced)105.00 labor 11.95 plug and 17.50 credit card fee! Upon inspection now my front fork seal is now leaking and I complained about the original bill being 350.$ more and now having to have more work done to repair. Once again I agreed if the price was reasonable. 650.$ to replace fork seals (seal and dust cover 25.00 kit (2) )was just more of the same price gouging. I find this organization to be suspect honesty and my experience not worthy of repeat. Once again looking for a repair shop (trustworty) I can depend on. They also left off a grommet on the spark plug cover!

I ended up having to move and haven't been able to pick them up... He said it was no problem they could stay at his shop as long as needed. The few times I asked if he would be at the shop, he told me no not that day.... now he contacts me and says "the storage fees are racking up." He never mentioned storage fees until a couple of days ago. He hit on me when I dropped them off when he had a girlfriend. Now he's holding my atv's hostage until I pay him $90 a day for storage fees up front. He's said that for one month of storage fees are $2700 and that has to be paid up front. This is extortion. I asked for his new address so I could pick them up.... he refused to answer, this is Larceny. As long as he feels he has a chance with you, he will work with you, but when you stand up for yourself, he extorts more money from you by holding your items hostage.
