She recommended and we chose the basic package for $55 and it would take 2-3 hours. 2 hours later we were called, she was done. When we arrived to pick up our dog, surprise - the bill was for $60 as she had "a little too much underfur". Well, our dog's coat was assessed prior to the service and it took less than the estimated 3 hours so I was scratching my head and held firm on the price quoted. I realize it is only a $5 difference but being a person of principle and a business owner myself I felt it was a terrible business practice to charge more without calling, especially since she was done well within the expected window of time. How many others are lured in with one price only to be charged more, with no discussion or choice? Our Aussie looked and felt clean but the trim was minimal and very blunt and unnatural looking. Her nails were not trimmed as promised. I definitely will not return.

But, if you buy these animals from them, they think there is a market for them and just get more that the don't take care of. Please only buy from breeder. Do not support these pet stores.

None of those other grooms were necessarily BAD, but in comparison to what Max has had twice at Shaggy to Chic, none of them were good, either. Sarah's haircut speaks for itself and is clearly the work of a professionally trained individual. More important to us was being comfortable with leaving Max in someone else's care. The compassion and professionalism at Shaggy to Chic was the most genuine I've seen. My wife and I have nothing but positive things to say about Sarah.
