I can't say enough good things about the elder Mr Elliott who is now retired. Once Doug became the owner, I continued to bring jewelry in for repair and bought four bracelets and three pair of earrings in about a two year span of time. Overall, I was satisfied. However, I then had to have several of my rings sized, and when I picked up the rings, the gold band was made so thin, the rings are no longer strong enough for daily wear. That highly annoyed me, and I should have complained, but I never want to cause a problem, so I just planned on taking them somewhere else at a later date for repair. The final straw was when my husband's wedding ring lost a diamond and the band had bent out of shape slightly over time. Doug charged us $369 for a tiny diamond that we later found out from another jeweler was a $25 stone. Ouch! What a rip off! In addition, Doug left the gold so thin, after my husband wore his ring ONCE the thin gold twisted completely out of shape and is completely unwearable. In addition, we had paid extra for some etching to be done that was originally on the ring but had worn off. He didn't put any etching on the ring even though we paid for it. So basically we paid him close to $400 to repair and resize a ring and are left with a piece of junk gold that can't be worn or used for anything. I'm extremely upset about all of that, not to mention the sentimental value of my husband's wedding ring which he can no longer wear, 30 years into our marriage. I would give the Elliott's a chance to fit it and make it right, but my husband is so upset he doesn't want to contact them. If they cared even a tiny bit, they never would have done such a horrendous job on the ring in the first place. My advice is to go ANYWHERE else.

Couple of weeks before Christmas 2023 I stopped in Hudson's to have my rings looked at. While I am…read morewaiting, I spotted the prettiest Ruby ring and asked if I could look at it. I put it on and fell in love. The wonderful salesperson at Hudson's talked with me about the ring I thanked them and gave them their ring back. There was no high-pressure sales tactics, and the salesperson was so very nice. A couple weeks later I called to see if they still had the ring, and to my good fortune they did. I talked with the salesperson again and asked if I could put it on layaway, all the while chatting about life in general with all the salespeople and the owner. The owner informed me that a family member just had a kidney transplant that morning and I felt an overwhelming joy for the young man which brought me to tears. I explained to the Owner and sale staff (I was the only one in the store as they were getting ready to close) that I had lost my kidney and spleen in a horrible accident a few years back. As we all talked, I did not notice the owner, or my salesperson disappear to the back of the store. It was getting late, so I asked how much I needed to put down on the layaway, the salesperson started doing something on the register I gave him my card and he handed me the receipt. The total was 1 Cent! I was confused I started to ask questions when the owner came out from the back and handed me the Ruby ring. At first, I was confused until the owner told me that the ring was a gift from them!! I burst into tears and ugly cried for a while. The owner and I hugged, and I kept saying thank you thank you. After many happy tears were spilled and hugs were given and conversation, I headed to my car to head home. I was feeling very Blessed that evening and even today when I look down and see the ruby on my finger, I know that there are still good, people in the world. Thank you, Hudson Jewelry, for making my Christmas Bright! My husband had his sized and they touched up the white gold on both (we've had them for 20 years!) I could hardly believe the price they quoted me as I was expecting it to be much more! Especially with replacing a small diamond. How often do you pay less than you expect anymore? I was so happy and when I went to pick them up today they look brand new! I was so pleased; if we ever need work done on jewelry in the future, I'll be bringing it here. The staff was friendly to us and gave us quality service. Happy all around!

During the project, we were unable to reach agreement regarding the design. I requested cancellation of the project and the return of my personal property and deposit. The business has refused to return my property without additional payment that I dispute. The matter is now pending before the court, so I will not argue the legal merits here. My purpose in filing this complaint is to document my experience and to request the return of my personal property and any funds the court determines are appropriate. I have retained documentation, communications, and payment records supporting my position and will present them through the legal process.

When I showed her the band that you had made for me, she literally laughed and told me it was worth $200 at best. She saw the brand that was on the inside of the band and told me that's where scrap jewelry comes from.
