Absolutely terrible. I went here to have a couple links removed from my watch. The older gentleman who let me in the door was rude and dismissive from the second I walked in. No hello or greeting from him. He just stared at me. I showed him my watch, and he got snippy with me and said, "What do you want ME to do?". He said he didn't have the tools to take the pins out and I should go somewhere else. (They obviously have the tools to do this, as it's an ordinary watch with pin links. He just didn't want to do it.) Will do, sir. You should treat your customers better. I will never go here again or recommend them to anyone. What a jerk. read more

I will always recommend Biegert's! There is nothing better than walking into a locally owned business and being met with a strait laced kind of person. Terry helped my husband DESIGN my engagement ring and even made a custom band for it too! My husband didn't want anything custom, so Terry took the time to show him the in stock rings and was able to help us find something in our price range. There is so much to browse through in the store, and it is nice to know there is a place that will help you fix any issues you might have in the future, for example he was able to get all of my wedding day jewelry cleaned and rings welded together very quickly. read more

They do great repair work at fair prices and are honest, never doing or recommending any work that isn't necessary or if it isn't the best option. They stand behind their work too. I have bought new pieces at Biegerts as well. They have a teriffic selection of jewelry in all price ranges and their diamond selections are outstanding and priced fairly. I have done business with Biegerts for several years and have had great service! The owner is knowlwegable and honest. If he can't give you a great deal he will tell you why and refer you to someone he thinks can. There was a previous review that questioned his honesty and I would question hers since I followed her and found her to blast many on YELP. I think she's looking for freebies to delete her post. If I could give this shop 0 stars I would. The owner was the rudest and most condescending man I have ever talked to. I have been a local all my life and went to look at engagement rings. At the very beginning, the owner was very disinterested and rude. When I would start to ask him questions, he acted like I was a complete waste of his time. No one else was even in the store! He talked to me with disgust when I told him what I was looking for. You should never treat customers the way he was treating me. NEVER EVER GO HERE! I'm only giving this store 1 star because I have to. I went in today & wanted to see a ring. I'm recently engaged & getting married March 6th. The lady told me shr can't let me hold the ring. I said how can I buy it if I can't see it on my finger? Again, she said I can't let you hold the ring. I asked her does she let white people try on rings & she told me yes. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! She spoke truthfully & too soon. I could see all over her face that she knew she had messed up. As I walked to the door she then asked me my ring size. I told her 8 but don't worry about it. She then tried to tell me I could try it on but the damage was already done. I was so mad I was shaking... Mind you I'm a teacher & my fiance is a nurse, I had to 1 carat diamomd rings on at the time & have enough money to buy 5 of those rings if I so choose. But being black I guess my money wasn't good enough for her. I was COMPLETELY disrespected & discriminated against solely based on the color of my skin that she even verbally admitted!!!!!! I've had two dealings with Biegert's Jewelry. The first was a watch repair. I asked the jeweler if he could fix my watch. It wasn't a very expensive watch, but had sentimental value. He told me I needed to buy a new watch. I went to the next jewelry store on the corner two doors down. They fixed my watch for $40 and took only two days. Hurray! The last and final experience with this rip-off joint (Biegert's Jewelry) was when I went in to get a watch band resized. The "Master Jeweler" took less than 5 minutes to remove four links from the band and charged me $20. My girlfriend was looking for a pendant for her necklace. She couldn't find anything she liked at Biegert's. We went straight to L.E. Smith next to Rural King. She found a pendant she loved at a very fair price. I asked the jewler at L.E. Smith how much they charged to resize a watch band. It would have cost me $5 total. I feel I've been ripped-off by a street hustler at Biegart's Jewelery! read more
