Instead of just "getting them working", he identified a part that wasn't original and didn't match the original aesthetic of the clock design. He found a perfect replacement. He sees the clock as something much more than a timepiece. It is a work of art. I questioned my decision to drop off my clocks when they weren't ready within a few weeks. Now I know I made the right decision because the extra time they were at Father Time resulted in two treasures that no other clock repair would have achieved. They referred me to Artigem, and had me send the remaining earring so they could make the mirror image. Artigem discovered, though, that the remaining earring had a couple of cracked diamonds. So they made me an entire new pair of earrings, reusing the undamaged ones and replacing the others. The only difference I can see is that the new ones are a little more comfortable to wear. Initially, I wasn't happy with the idea of doing business from nearly 2000 miles away, but they kept me apprised of their progress, and I couldn't be happier with the end result.
