Jennifer acted as my day of coordinator and helped me plan my wedding! Before the wedding: Jennifer was easy to contact, I sent her countless emails and chatted with her frequently. She gave me a list of to-dos leading up to the wedding and reminders as it got closer. She came with me to visit the venue twice, was flexible with the schedule, and communicated with all of my vendors leading up to the wedding! Jennifer also sent me timelines of what would happen during the day (almost by the minute)! The day before the wedding, Jennifer helped our bridal party through the rehearsal and even had the officiant (her husband) there! She calmed my stresses to say the least! During the wedding: Though my vision was quite simple, Jennifer helped me execute it to the fullest. After our initial run through Jennifer knew exactly how things needed to run and look , I did not have to ask for a single thing to be changed. Vendors knew where to go, things were set how I wanted them, and she never once asked me for anything (and neither did the vendors). Everything was perfect! She even helped me write a beautiful wedding sign at the last minute!! She was never stressed and that really kept me at ease! Our officiant, Jennifer's Husband also did a fabulous job!! We gave him little direction, keep it short and sweet, involve the guest, and make it fun. He did all of those things and more. I've had many friends compliment how wonderful the ceremony was! At the end of the night Jennifer also took the time to keep many of the mementos I would have forgotten. She saved my bouquet, boutonnieres, the speech my maid of honor wrote, and the little knick knacks left around the venue. It was so nice to get to leave and not worry about all of those things at the end of the night. Overall, Jennifer was absolutely wonderful to work with! No matter how unruly my groomsmen and bridesmaids were and no matter how overwhelmingly hectic my wedding was (I have a really big family), she maintained a calm demeanor and was able to take the best pictures any bride can ask for. 2) She blended in the crowd and I never noticed her taking pictures. She was silent and was able to get the shots she needed. I've been to other weddings where the photographers are obnoxious and they have no regard for obstructing guests' view. Grace was the complete opposite. She was mindful of my guests and she knew where to stand to get the best pictures without blocking anybody's view. You won't even know she's there taking your pictures. When I got my pictures from her, there were many photos where I said to myself "I don't remember that.... Well, I'm really glad she caught that on film." (for example: my ring bearer and flower girls taking turns giving me a kiss while I was getting ready). 3) She was very efficient and handled her "weapons" well.... weapons to capture the most precious moments. She reminded me of Tomb Raider Lara Croft because she had two holsters that were wrapped around her but instead of guns, she had camera equipment. When she switched out lenses, she was very fast. I felt confident that my wedding was in the hands of a pro. 4) I love her journalistic style: nothing posey or staged. She was able to capture emotions on my guests' faces. I absolutely love candid photos and she really knows what angles to use to make everybody look good. I am serious when I say that she made everybody look good. A couple of my guests turned her candid photos into their profile pictures on Facebook -- proof that everybody loves the moments she captured. 5) She did an excellent job with editing my photos. It rained pretty hard on my wedding, but you won't even notice that from the pictures she sent me. Everybody was pretty stressed because of the rain and because we were running behind schedule. She managed to highlight the happiness in the wedding (even managed to capture the antics of my comedic groomsmen). Like a well trained ninja wielding precision katana blades, she edited my photos to perfection and my husband and I are so ecstatic that we hired her as our photographer. Your wedding photos are stuck with you for the rest of your life so you might as well hire the best, someone who can guarantee you kick-ass photos. Naturally we were delighted when the photographs came to see all they had captured. I don't recall seeing them at the ceremony and yet the face of the groom as the bride came down the isle, the intimate shots during vows, all the way through the dinner and speeches. And I don't know how they were able to get dancing snapshots without being on the dance floo,r but they did! The lighting in the photographs is magical. The use of the sunset to highlight the veil or hair of the bride and to frame the bride and groom in the field of golden grass. Honestly every photo is a work of art. A few photos I wanted of the family and the bride and groom and their siblings were staged but for the most part, very candid photos that captured the happiness and joy of the day. Candid shots of the faces of the guests captured their individual personalities as though she'd known them for years. My biggest problem now is trying to figure out which of the 1,000 photos I want in an album because I love them all.

She kept us on time for everything and was also flexible with squeezing in extra time for photos cause she knew that was really important to us. In the middle of the evening I realized that I had left two cases of beer in the trunk of my car back at the hotel. I had spent weeks hunting this down and Stacy knew it meant a lot to me so she had one of her assistants drive back to the hotel, talk the front desk into getting access to my car so she could bring the beer back to the wedding. Pure awesomeness. We also had an unexpected medical emergency in the middle of the reception and Stacy handled it like the pro she is. The person actually ended up going to the hospital with some family and Stacy arranged for food to be sent over. In the interest of time, here are our top 3 reasons for why Lilly was the right choice for us: - Quality of product: Our jaws fell to the floor when we saw our engagement photos. We did our session at a location she'd never been to, and where I spent every day of my childhood.
