After speaking with several make-up artists over the phone regarding my upcoming wedding, I was immediately put at ease with Sonia. She was relaxed and took the time to answer all of my questions. I remember saying to my fiance that I hoped the trial went well, because I already wanted to work with her from our phone call alone. Sonia came to my place to do the trial and was really flexible. I told her one big concern was that I didn't want the makeup to feel too heavy, that I still wanted to see ME through the makeup. That was not a problem. I loved what she did, but wanted her to try something different with the eyeshadow and she made the change right away. On the wedding day, she did the makeup for me (the bride), my mom and a bridesmaid. Sonia came to the hotel where we were getting ready and was on time. My mom looked stunning...she does a great job with the mother-of-the-bride makeup. For my makeup, Sonia was able to recreate (quickly, too, since I was running late) the exact look we had settled on for the trial. She put a stain on my lips that lasted all night - she even had me brush my teeth AFTER she applied it so I could test it out and make sure it didn't come off. Sonia did tell me that I would want to touch up/powder a couple of times throughout the night, but to be honest I was so busy at the reception that I never got the chance and I didn't even need to worry about it, it looked great and lasted...when I got back to our room at 2:30 in the morning my makeup was still on. I hired Sonia for my wedding last year and she did a beautiful job on my mother, sister, mother-in-law, and myself. Sonia is fantastic! On the morning of my sister's wedding, the woman who she originally had her makeup trial with got sick and Sonia saved the day. Not only did she save the day but people in the salon were so excited that she was the one to come in because they said she was by far their best make up artist and in such high demand that they didn't think they could get her on such short notice. I wanted to buy my wife something different for a gift so I contacted Sonia to buy a bundle of makeup sessions for my wife. Sonia was very helpful and professional. She suggested that a nice idea would be to have the bundle include individual sessions as well as a makeup party which she could have with up to 8 of her friends. It was a fantastic idea; I would have never thought of it. Sonia sent me a small package I could give my wife which was very nicely decorated and included the certificate for the sessions. Sonia did my makeup for my wedding as well as my mom's makeup. The result was amazing, the makeup stayed on all day and she made me look great while not looking too done up. She also did my mom's makeup and made sure it was age appropriate and my mom was thrilled with how it turned out! Sonia is AMAZING! She did makeup for myself, my sister, and the other bridesmaids at my sister's wedding a few weeks ago, and she did such a fantastic job. Her style is very clean and natural looking, but with just enough shading and color to make the skin glow! Also, this may sound silly, but I've never had such perfect eyelashes! Love Sonia! Sonia can to my house to doll up my friend and I for my bf's birthday party. She arrived on time and did an excellent job!
