During my appointment, I was informed that they would have to request the notes from my cervical medial branch block doctor and my previous pain management doctor. This was a little disappointing given that I waited two weeks for this appointment and had previously provided my MRIS. There was no previous mention about my prior doctor's notes. I was also informed that they need to check for pre-approval for my tpi. Again, I explained to this doctor that my insurance doesn't require pre-approval. I called my insurance as soon as I left this office and they informed me that they will contact pain specialists of Nevada in the morning since they were already closed to inform them of their procedure. Dr Nguyen discussed other options with me like an epidural. We also discussed their MLS laser while I was there. I did explain to Dr helmi that I had some red laser treatment at a prior chiropractic office. He claimed that laser was a superficial laser that only went skin deep. Their laser supposedly goes deeper. Two days later, I called in and spoke to I Sandy. It is impossible to speak with the doctor or get any meaningful guidance from this office. Now, I have received a nearly $500 bill, and when I called again asking for answers, I was told I would need to make another appointment, pay again, and start over. This is completely unacceptable. After thousands of dollars billed to my insurance, I have received no help, no communication, and no accountability. This office does not care about patients--it cares about billing and pushing medication. The doctor is unreachable, the staff is unresponsive, and the level of care is disgraceful. He is extremely intelligent, very direct, and completely honest. If you're looking for a very soft, "aww poor baby" bedside manner, he may not be the right fit. But if you want someone who knows what they're doing, gets to the point, and actually delivers results, he's outstanding. I offered to catheter myself to provide a drug test if they would get me a catheter from the urgent care on the other side the nurse told me they had bad blood with them! I asked for an oral swab they said they don't do that! I offered a hair follical test they don't do it! But I'm in renal kidney failure and can't provide a UA for that reason and they make no concessions and say your treatment will be drastically impacted if I can't, but I haven't been able to except for one or two times a day! In all reality the doctor that graduated from college should have said I should go to the emergency room, knowing I have multiple myeloma and that's the situation. Also that I have renal kidney failure ! Make your own decisions, but even a medical malpractice lawyer could see this is negligible! Just saying! Especially after reading everything they did and didn't write in my chart and all those patients who gave me their names in the waiting room. They should have realized I wasn't alone and I was talking to those patients and the one hugged me and gave me her information! Witnesses are incredible.
