The biggest concern was the overall health of the animals. Several pets did not appear to be in the condition I would expect from a store that is supposed to prioritize animal welfare. It's heartbreaking to see living animals treated as inventory instead of being properly cared for. The staff was another major issue. They were unfriendly, dismissive, and seemed to have very little knowledge about the animals they were selling. I was given incorrect information about proper reptile lighting, which could seriously affect an animal's health if a new owner followed that advice. A pet store should be a reliable source of accurate husbandry information, not misinformation. Customer service was just as disappointing. It was difficult to get anyone's attention, and when I finally did, I felt like I was inconveniencing the employees. The manager was rude, unprofessional, and showed little interest in addressing concerns or helping resolve problems. The store also had very little inventory compared to what was advertised, making the trip a waste of time. To make matters worse, they refused to honor valid, unexpired coupons and provided inconsistent explanations as to why they wouldn't accept them. I also noticed products, including food and medications, that appeared to be expired or approaching expiration. That's unacceptable for products intended to keep pets healthy. Overall, this store needs significant improvement in employee training, customer service, inventory management, and its commitment to both animal welfare and the customers who trust them. Until those issues are addressed, I cannot recommend shopping here.

She and her staff know the inventory and can do special orders. They are very friendly and helpful. Laura owns dogs but not cats. That's why she is interested in hearing my feedback on all the cat-related products. One of our cats has fur slightly longer than "domestic short hair" length. Even after we started brushing him, he had two separate bouts of life-threatening furballs. I did some research. Apparently, beet pulp is used in dry cat food to help push furballs out of the body before they can get large and life-threatening. Since starting to eat Blue Buffalo Indoor Health kibble, which contains beet pulp, the furballs have not been a major problem. Laura told me she was grateful to know that sort of information. She really wants to provide the best possible service to all her customers. Our last dog was allergic to all sorts of things. At W2W, I was able to find several types of dog cookies that she could eat. We fed her a home-made diet because of the allergies, but it was nice to be able to buy already-made cookies. Our current dog is as healthy as a horse. We have to keep her away from the self-serve bulk cookie bins, as she would grab a mouthful if she could. W2W has all the pet supplies that really matter. Premium kibble and canned foods, treats & toys, grooming supplies, etc. There might be larger stores, but they don't have anything new to offer me and my pets.
