I'm unsure of the negative reviews, as my experience was top tier. My water heater repair as it had some stoppages and other issues, or what I thought was a repair ended up being a replacement issue as the unit had become rather dangerous. Flames were shooting from the top and the temperature sensor was shot. They also pointed out to me an extremely corroded line that could have flooded my house easily, so I am very glad they are experienced and observant of all aspects of the problem I had beyond the unit itself! My kitchen sink got clogged 2 days before thanksgiving and I had to prepare a day before thanksgiving dinner. I badly needed to use the kitchen sink. I requested to get a quote through yelp and needed my sink unclogged yesterday. Luckily YOUR PLUMMER GUYS responded immediately, gave me the cheapest quote and was also available to make time yesterday after I get home from work. Very disappointed. Eric the plumber came to fix a leak from water heater. As he was going to get the part, I asked if he can please replace both parts because both parts were corroded. Eric's response was no because the pipes are old and he is worried that the pipes would break trying to replace them and that he needs to talk with my landlord about the bigger problem. We also needed to put a cap on a leaky sprinkler (very quick small job to do). Eric was aware of the problem but decided to not put the cap on the sprinkler and only changed one fixture part. Due to not changing both parts, THERE WAS STILL A LEAK!!!! Which Eric knew but still did not replace both parts. Eric proceeded to tell my landlord that we needed to change all of our pipes which costs a minimum of $5200. This was an assumption without actually looking at the pipes underground. Our new plumber who came today did mention the pipes were old, but it was not an emergency to replace all of our pipes in our unit. Eric charged $250 for one part, but did not fix the leak completely and for some reason did not fix the very easy cap needed on a sprinkler leak. My landlord had to call another plumber today and replacing the other corroded part fixed the leak. I have had about 7 experiences with different plumbers in my lifetime and this was absolutely the sloppiest service I have ever encountered. Actually now feeling lucky all of my previous plumbing experiences were great and every single time, the plumbing issue was fixed. __________________________________________________________________________ I just received a very unprofessional call from Eric himself who told me that I was unlady like to make a bad review of his company and that he was kind enough to come during a weekend during family time. I moved into a new home this summer. It sits on directly on a slab with the drains all underneath the slab. I discovered a good amount of water damage happening seemingly in three areas of the house. This is the first home I've lived in that wasn't raised so I didn't know how to locate leak. I did my own meter test to determine if the pressurized system was leaking. It wasn't. So I called a leak detection specialty company who after missing their first scheduled appointment, eventually showed up. They spent the next 5 hours using fancy cameras, sonar, and such. They scoped out as much as they could but the camera couldn't fit into where they suspected the problem was. So they left inconclusive and directed me to start an insurance claim because they were going to have to start opening up walls and likely open up the cement slab as well. This bad news was made worse after learning my insurance company's penalty for a claim within the 1st 6 mos of the policy is to be dropped! I delayed opening the claim and called Your Plumber Guys through my home warranty company just for another opinion. They are not leak detection specialists per se but I figured Id see what they had to say. I AM SO GLAD I DID. Within 20 mins and after listening to me tell him it was not the pressurized pipes or a leaking shower pan and that it had to be a broken underground drain pipe, he nonetheless asked if he could look at my shower controller valves. He quickly took them apart and saw that when the shower was running it was leaking down inside the wall and spread out from there. My meter test didn't nor the previous pro's fancy equipment hadn't thought of that and the repair turned into a much more basic and inexpensive job.
