Note: they're now called Mile High Audio Video. We just bought a home and moved in, want to have everything smart and automated. We realized several rooms have speakers built into the walls/ceilings. We also had our TV placed in a recess in the family room and the audio was just a bit muffled, sometimes hard to hear speech. So we wanted high quality, proper surround for the TV plus the ability to play Spotify, Podcasts, etc. throughout the house, all controlled from our phones. The Mile High guys were super knowledgeable about all things home automation, home audio, etc. The guys who installed our Sonos system were great. Everyone (sales, technical, accounting) is very friendly and really know their stuff. I knew I had made the right decision from the first conversation I had with Billy to figure out my cabling needs on a finished basement. Did I mention that I got bids from several other "more established" electronics service providers? I did. And they were all significantly more expensive, with longer wait times. Billy's team was top-notch -- conscientious, smart, and worked hard to figure out the best way to design my cabling solution with minimum impact to my home. When they were done, I had three jacks installed on different walls across the length of my long basement... with only two holes to mark their passage. And even those they covered with face plates until I can arrange for someone to patch the walls... and Billy can apparently help me with that too. I had 5280 do a decent size project for me that involved a full audio/video install in my living room and patio. Billy did a great job coming out and finding out what I was wanting to do. He presented several different options for me to choose from. He was very helpful and answered all my questions (I had a lot) regarding components. They had to do the work in 2 phases to work around a remodeling project that I also had going on. Both times the crews arrived on time and did great work. I would highly recommend 5280 Audio Video! A very impressive company. We have a 1930 tudor with an original brick fireplace covered with 2" thick brick facing. I was told by two other companies that hanging a TV over our fireplace was "possible but not recommended" with brick on brick. When I called 5280, Billy explained there would be no problem with this install and that his company had done many of them. We spoke for a while about the details of the TV install and how the electrical work would be done. The install went exactly as Billy described and the pricing was very fair considering the complexity of our project. 5280 gave me a pretty big window of time, and they showed up before the window opened so I was happy installation started early. Two gentlemen showed up and were very professional. They provided their opinion on the equipment I bought myself and recommended a different mount. They also installed my floating cable box stand. Once the mount was installed, they hooked up all of the wires, covered everything up very neatly and were on their way. They swept up after themselves and even took off their shoes when they came into my home. Couldn't ask for better service! All of this cost me about $300. This included the work of mounting TV plus cable box stand, consultation, and purchasing a new wall mount from them.
