It was my first experience at this salon and was lucky enough to get Corinne to handle what I consider to be a major haircut (from mid-back to shoulder length) AND bangs. She not only did a marvelous job with my cut, but did an exceptional job consulting with me to ensure I knew what kind of cut I was asking for. Jules is amazing and friendly and lovely! She gave my hair a snip snip and chop chop of about 18 inches and I love it. She also went over coloring at the time, since I was curious. Since it was such an immense amount of hair, I was understandably scared out of my wits. Julie did a great job of soothing my fears and being very personable. I am coming back here again, and soon! Yikes. I'll try to keep it short but this salon is a hot mess. Made an appointment for 4pm yesterday and when I got in, I was told that I would have to wait at least a half hour because the stylist I booked had taken 2 walkins before me. I repeat: she made an appointment with me and then took walkins AFTER that, knowing that my appointment with her would be delayed. She was pretty rude about it as well. Ended up being seen by a sweet girl named Daisy. Daisy uh, did not communicate much with me regarding my expectations for my haircut. She cut it several inches too short and didn't once ask if she got the length correct. I have NEVER had a stylist just start cutting before making sure we mutually understood where the length was gonna be. I had to take my glasses off for the haircut and once I had them back on I almost started crying. This length is workable but absolutely not what I requested and she would have known that if she had double checked before she started cutting. I have never once dreamed of having my hair this short. She was also pretty rough with my hair (on more than one occasion she yanked her comb out of my hair and snagged my ear piercings), and didn't ask if I wanted any additional services. Never had that happen before either. It was the shortest haircut I've ever had and that's absolutely not a good thing in this case. She seemed eager to have the appointment end before I let her know that this wasn't the haircut I wanted. That being said, Daisy owned up to what happened, seemed like she genuinely cared that I was dissatisfied, and gave me a free styling and I walked away with a new look that I guess I'll acclimate to with some time. read more

I love coming to this salon, especially to see Kassandra. My wife started coming here because she would recieve coupons on our Frys receipt. Such a great deal but you're definitely getting more than you pay for! I myself was skeptical at first...I'm a Barber shop kind of guy, but Kassandra proved me dead wrong. Now, myself and my son can't imagine getting our matching cuts done anywhere else and my wife always comes home looking more beautiful than when she left (didn't think that was possible.) I think the best part is that the whole family can be taken care of at one place and the customer service is so genuine, down to Earth, yet professional! I'm so happy with my hair cut and color, Kassy! I've struggled that last couple of years trying to find a stylist who was affordable and who understood what I wanted. Kassy is now my stylist! I love that this salon is family owned; the whole family was there while I was there. While I was in the chair getting my hair done I observed how one of the other stylists interacted with a customer's little boy who absolutely did not want his hair cut but the stylist was very patient and coaxed the little boy along. I scheduled my daughter specifically for an undercut with a design. We had been here before with mandy and had an amazing experience. Came back today and was told mandy isn't here and the lady who she is now with doesnt do designs. I got a call earlier in the day to say mandy was sick, but never that she was the ONLY one who could do what I asked for. They dyed her hair, not how I asked, and then left her with wet hair and moved onto another client without saying a word. So I had to argue to even have it dried to just see the color and how it turned out as being wet, it all looked black. Before today, I would have recommended this place over a thousand times. After today, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Not to mention the lady who was scheduled with my CHILD clearly doesn't like children. read more

Totally unsatisfied. The quote on my color was essentially a huge excuse for this stylist to avoid doing it; probably to my benefit. I opted for just a haircut, long layers, angled in the front to frame my face. The layers are choppy - not blended- and horrible. I can't even wear a regular pony tail because long pieces stick out in random spots. I would tell you who cut my hair but I honestly I don't know because her mouth was full of food when she introduced herself. Good thing hair grows. read more

Pretty bummed. My sister and I always had a great experience with different hair stylists for the past three years, especially with Kassandra and Jules. I even started getting my hair colored and cut more often. I've always had a vague idea of what I wanted, but always left it in their hands. I'd leave the salon super happy and staring at my hair in the mirror. They all added their own style which was fun. I hate leaving reviews since I'm typically embarrassed and shy. But wow. I was shocked by the service. Just had a baby and was excited to feel great again. I came in looking for blended layers and thinner hair since it is so thick. The hair stylist ( who I don't know the name of as she didn't introduce herself ) literally cut off an inch of my hair. She said "I cut off an inch." She didn't ask my opinion or let me look around. She just took off the cover and walked away, telling me the other stylist was going to charge me. I was shocked. At least she did one of the things I asked for. I've had one rude encounter with a different stylist, but I didn't put much attention since the rest of the staff was great. Guess you have to be careful on who you get. read more

I had a coupon so I decided to go in. When I went in the girls were all sitting their waiting apparently for their appointments or hair to process on ladies in their. Not super friendly the one lady said she had another stylist coming in at 1pm. It was 1230 ish when I arrived so I said I would wait. the stylist Cece was about 10 minutes late but she was friendly and took the time to make sure I was happy with the how much hair I was getting cut off. She used a straighter on my hair something I had never done before, I really loved the look. Cece was super friendly and because of how friendly she was that is why I gave it 3 stars. Having to relocate from California, I had to leave an excellent hairstylist who used to take the time to make sure my hair is perfectly even. I've search for one here in Arizona numerous times and nothing was comparable to what I had in California. One day, out of frustration I walked in "Your Style Salon" and was quickly greeted by Valerie. Valerie was very pleasant, friendly, and very professional. OMG!! I finally found the "One" that is equal to or even much better because of her added awesome service from what I had in California. I love the fact that Valerie takes the time to wash my hair and really make sure my hair is even all around. Do you know how hard it was to walk out from a bad hair cut (from previous salons)? I literally would go home frustrated with one or both side being uneven. I would even try to straighten it out myself, and attempting to do your own hair makes it even worse. Thank God that day, I walked in your salon and discovered Valerie. I love the fact that she takes that extra step to make my stubborn Asian/Spanish hair perfect. Believe me! Asian hair has a mind of it's own, it will go whatever direction it wants to go and Valerie knows how to tame my stubborn hair to go the right direction...lol. Granted, I know no human being is perfect, but if there is such thing as close to it Valerie is the "One" for the job!! Valerie is awesome and is now my permanent hairstylist. This salon is the absolute best one I have been to in YEARS!!! I bring a picture in of a cut/style/color I want and I walk out each time looking even better than the picture I brought in. All the women there are very personable and sweet. Keircey is one of my favorite stylist there. She listens to what I want and gets my hair exactly how I want it!! I searched around on Yelp and most of the places that had good reviews, just seemed a bit pretentious on their actual websites. I ran across Your Style Salon and after looking at some after pictures and reading their energetic posts, I decided to throw caution to the wind and give them a go. I could not be happier that I did. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!! I have tried this place twice now. The first time I went they did not listen to what I wanted for my haircut, but at least it still turned out decent. Today I went in to get my hair trimmed up and styled. I showed the stylist pictures of how I wanted, said the length of how I wanted, and asked for my sides to be buzzed. After everything was said and done, it looked NOTHING like how I wanted it! Not even a little close to the pictures I showed her! It's like my words went in one ear and out the other, and the haircut frankly looks horrible. I was being as nice as possible, but now I'm heavily considering going back over there and demanding a refund. The stylists there are inexperienced and need to learn how to listen to their customers before they actually do anything. Worst haircut I have ever received in my life! read more

I came here to get a color change/ombre and Jules was just as great as it gets! The process was long as I was going from brown to 2 different red tones but it went by quickly because of how quickly and efficiently she worked, and she was so easy to talk to! When I had questions about the best products to use in my hair she gave me plenty of recommendations to choose from and she even showed me a quick way to easily style my hair after I mentioned I wasn't very good with styling tools. I don't generally stick to one place over the other, but I will be sure to come back to Your Style and Jules for any hair cuts or color retouches because of the great atmosphere and excellent customer service. read more

I love this salon! You can get great service done at low cost. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and positive attitude seems to be important there. I have been to many different stylist here and have always been pleased with my doo. Also they are locally owned and not a chain shop that requires their stylist to cut hair in 11 flippin minutes. This salon is a joke. I saw a photo online of one of my Facebook friends who recently got her hair done at this salon, she was an employee so she was marketing for the salon, and I thought it looked great. I immediately called to book an apt. I was very confident going in and showing my stylist a photo of a great blonde I wanted done. She looked at the photo and said "how great lets get started etc etc" not once did she explain the amount of sessions in the chair I would have to take to get there. After sitting in the chair for close to 2 and a half hours, she sat me back done after the rinse and toner of the high lights, took my towel off my head and that's when I knew this was going to be NOTHING that I wanted. My hair was not only a brassy yellow, but the whole front line surrounding my head was still brown and not even done. After the hair was dry and styled, she took me outside to take a photo and said the lighting in the salon is horrible and it looks much better outside. Well in fact the whole entire coloring was wrong! I left not saying anything until when I got home, my family commented immediately on how terrible it looks and that I need to call and speak with someone. The next day, after sleeping on it trying to get use to the terrible dye job, I called and asked to speak to a manager. The "manager" happened to be the stylist who styled my hair and not once even asked if there was anything she could do to fix this or make me happy or even try to save me as a client. She simply said we will call you back once I speak to my manager. I had to then ask her if she needed my phone number to call me back and she said no. I followed this stylist on Instagram and saw a MEME that she posted a day after my complaint stating something along the lines of clients lying about not having color in their hair, calling them "Pinocchios" aka liars. I found it very ironic that a day after my call and complaint, her social media has something posted along the lines of my exact complaint. Two days proceeded to go by and I had not heard from the salon, which I knew I wouldn't, so I called back and was told the owner directly would call me. The owner did in fact call me and I walked him through the issues and concerns and spoke with him regarding the Instagram post, where he said" I teach my stylist to post %25 funny posts" well your stylists senses of humor are a joke in themselves. He had asked if I would give the salon a second chance and at that point, it was not worth even my gas to drive to a salon that represent themselves with such poor costumer service and un professionalism. To fix the mess that this stylist caused on my hair, I have spent an additional $300+ dollars on correcting her disaster. When I sat in the new chair at a new stylist, the very first thing out of her mouth was what a mess. I proceeded to call my bank to cancel the payment and after finding out they could not do that, I decided to write this review since I was so disgusted with the way things were handled. It got to the point where it wasn't even about the color, it was about the way the salon handled a costumer who simply wanted their service fixed, I was brushed under the rug and then mocked. Walk-in...then turn and walk right back out. I went in for color... I have 'hot roots, the color is blotchy and I have to now go and spend more money on having someone that knows what they are doing...(sorry,but true) fix the issue. That's more money and damage to my hair. I was uncomfortable the entire time I was not confident in her skills and abilities I do not recommend coming to this place for color though the pictures on yelp and the reviews look good I'm pretty sure this is a salon that is paying for yelp to keep negative reviews away. The stylist put my color on in about 5-7 minutes. I am well into my 30s I could tell her tech nique was not very good not once did she check my roots she just set the kitchen timer and when the timer went off she rents me out she talked about giving me a stress relieving scalp massage that never happened and then I was charged $35 for shampoo conditioner and style. One would think that when somebody is coming in for a color that would somehow be included so when I got home I jumped in the shower because I could still smell the hair color dye. Maybe just maybe all the good colorists were out for Labor Day weekend. Overall way too much money for something I could've gotten out of a box from CVS and at least have covered my hair more consistently and not have given myself hot roots. read more

Friendly owner David greeted me. After a short wait, I was called by Lili. I showed her two views of the hairstyle I am letting my hair grow into. We talked and I thought she understood exactly what I wanted - to clean up some of the bulk and lightly trim the layers toward the style in the photo. I asked her to check in with me as I can't see what she is doing without my glasses. I was absolutely shocked when I put on my glasses. The sides were layered so drastically that you can see my scalp in some places. The hair on the sides and in the back is probably no longer than 1/2". She felt proud of the fact that she left the top longer. It isn't even close to what I wanted and doesn't flatter me at all. I need a little fullness on the sides to look my best. This is flat as a pancake because she cut it so short. I was so angry I just wanted to get out of there before I caused a scene. There is nothing to be done except go through a very long growing out period to even get close to the short but longer layer cap cut I wanted. This young girl is nice but she shouldn't be allowed near a scissors. I'm still grieving all the hair she needlessly cut off. And I'm still very angry that I now have to go through life with a really ugly haircut. read more

this salon was an absolute nightmare!! i went in and a stylist with a very thick accent cut my sons hair, and i do not think she could understand the words coming out of my mouth!! she literally gave him a completely different cut then i wanted, and cut his hairline so far back he looks like a 50 year old man with a receding hair line. she didnt even completely finish the cut when i had to leave because i was so angry at this woman! and then i called to complain to the owner about it and he was very rude an unproffesional with me! i do not recommend this salon!!! read more
