So, unfortunately I went to the wrong Office Depot first and my flash drive wasn't there. Of course, I was confused until I got home and checked my email again; different address. Finally, I went to the correct Office Depot and picked up the flash drive. Office Depot has a good process; just user error lol.

This is not only about this store but it did play a part in the fiasco with my office depot…read moreorders. Not only did they send me the wrong item in my package but they didn't do ANY of the 3 things their customer service people told me they would do. I was told I could have the incorrect order picked up at my home or drop it off for return at an office depot store. So, I chose to return it to the store because I am in a newer community with a lot of construction people coming in and out in vans all day long and many times packages delivered or left out side for pick up get stolen. So, after work on Friday I drove to this store. Once inside I was told that I could not return the package to this store because they don't have the sku plus they have a new computerr system at thatstore...so they can not accept the retrurn. I came home and spoke to the customer. service dept and all I got was we are sorry for the mix up. No, it wasn't a mix up on anyone's part but office depot who's customer service gave me totally incorrect info. So I reordered the correct item (which I had to pay for again)! I was told that on May 20th (2 day delivery) both the new order and the pickup order would both go to the driver who brings me the correct order. I literally stayed home all day on the 20th and NOTHING either was delivered or picked up! I contact their customer. service people again and they said the don't know why either thing didn't happen. They gave me a new # to call so it gets esculated. So, I called the new number and basically I was told that EVERYTHING I had been told was incorrect!! What is wrong with office depot? I have never had any order as messed up as this. But I did learn something new, they did say that 2 day delivery doesn't mean 2 day delivery, it really means up to 5 days. WTF are you kidding me? They also said that I am not to give the return to the person who delivers the new corrected order. They changed that as well and said 2 different companies would be handling the delivery and return. So now, after calling 4 times and speaking to 4 people who each gave me different info. Something is very wrong with this company! Oh yes, I also told the last person (at the esculated number) that I received an email from Staples who is selling the exact same item I ordered for $10.00 less than what I paid. He said he'd have to check with his supervisor but he could possibly credit me the $10 once it is delivered. He said I'd need to call them back and request a price adjustment then. BUT...no one could tell me when the new order was coming or the pick up...all I got was a number that shows I esculated the entire mess. Again I ask you, what has happened to office depot? Obviously their ordering/ shipping dept. can't fill a order properly and nor can they deliver or pick up an incorrect order. They SUCK! Plus the last person said to hold on the line to give an evaluation of what he did ( basically nothing) to help solve the problem. And tell me why I wasn't surprised that once I held on, to be connected to the survey, it just rang and rang and no one picked up before they hung up on the call. I guess they really do not want to hear how badly they messed up at every turn! I'd think twice from ordering from them again. It sure looks like the Office Depot of today is nothing like they used to be. Best look for another supplier for your orders...unless you like drama, aggravation, or dealing with a total "Cluster Ducking" customer service dept.

Walked into Office Depot on a Sunday afternoon because I needed a new mouse for my laptop today,…read morenot in two days when Amazon decides to grace me with a delivery. I was greeted at the door, pointed toward the Great Wall of Mice, and honestly felt like royalty for a solid 45 seconds. I browsed, I compared, I made my choice. Easy. Smooth. Efficient. And then... the journey took a turn. Because now it was time for The Great Checkout Quest of 2025. You'd think holding a product in your hand near a register would summon an employee, like retail Beetlejuice. Nope. Not here. Instead, I had to go on a little safari and eventually spotted Marco, crouched over a display like he was examining ancient ruins. I got three looks from him -- Look #1: "Ah." Look #2: "Still there?" Look #3: "If I ignore him hard enough, maybe he'll evaporate." Zero acknowledgment. Not even a head nod. Nothing. So I walked over and asked if anyone was working the front. He says, "I'll be right with you." And then proceeds to move toward the register at a pace that would make a sloth question its life choices. I've seen dial-up internet move faster. Once we finally get to the register, the real priority becomes clear: not my money, not my time, not my sanity -- my phone number. Because of course, nothing says customer service like interrogating me for loyalty points I will never use. Got checked out, grabbed my mouse, and basically sprinted out like I'd just escaped retail purgatory. If I didn't need that silly little mouse today, I promise you I'd be clicking "Buy Now" on Amazon from the comfort of my couch. And honestly? That's exactly where my future office supply needs will be handled. Thanks for the adventure, Office Depot. Really.

I'd been carrying around some used ink cartridges to bring back to recycle. And when we were a few doors away, we saw this store. So first, I stopped by the register to do so. As a member of their loyalty program, you get $2 per returned cartridge. I had a prior credit that I needed to use before the end of the month, and I needed some new ink for a newer printer. It turned out to be a good stop. Got what I needed at an even better price -- after using the credit.

I learned of this shop through reading up the discounts that having an AAA membership offered…read more However, I was informed at the shop that Cartridge World no longer has any affiliation with AAA, so there's no AAA discounts with your purchases. But they are so so cheap!! I brought in an empty printer cartridge for black ink to ensure I got the right one. Surprisingly enough, their brand, CW, is very cheap but claims to be of equal quality as name brands. Think of store brands at Target- Up & Up, Walmart- Equate, etc..... so I have yet to give them 5 stars because if the claim remains true as I reach the end of the cartridge's life at the same rate as the name brand then I will return to CW and then give them 5 stars on Yelp. So back to the discounts.... I also learned that if you bring in an empty cartridge of any kind that you want to replace- they take off $1 from your purchase (but also give you a $1 surcharge for NOT). They keep the junk out of landfills in an appropriate manner. Mmmm environmentalist companies are so sexy. So since my cartridge was only $10, I got $1 off, so my total with tax came out to be less than $10. I believe that this is $5 cheaper than most in-store purchases at stores like Office Depot. They said their colored cartridge (for my printer) is $15... also cheaper than the typical $22 at other stores. I'll be returning as soon as I run out of the colored ink! Need ink? Go to Cartridge World and don't forget to bring your empty cartridges to get $1 off each purchase! :D
