I've been with Cherry the whole time and absolutely love her- sadly I never take photos of my nails but I included the chrome ones she's done for me over the years! Prices are very fair. Would definitely recommend BOOKING AHEAD OF TIME, they are typically too busy for walk-ins.

I have been coming here for years, but lately there are some issues I'm concerned with. #1: There…read moreare NO perks for being a loyal customer. Never any coupons, deals for however many times you go there, etc. The best seems to be to save a couple of dollars by paying cash over credit/debit card. It would be nice to feel appreciated and have some sort of reward or coupon program, given how large the business has grown to. #2: Lately, it seems that the nail techs are too busy to sanitize their tools in between customers. I really have no desire to catch anything from non-sanitized clippers, cuticle trimmers, or nail files. I would LOVE to see the techs opening sanitized tools in front of me while I'm there, so I know they're using clean stuff during my session. #3: I'm not sure if it's the tool or the techs, but I am so sick of my fingers getting cut up by the edges of the nail files! Like a papercut but deeper and it stings!! #4: Not everyone is trained equally. Some techs refuse to learn simple new techniques. It could be because they are over-worked and always busy. I also don't think each person does the dip manicure or the cat-eye manicure the same way - which way is the right way? It's different every time, it seems, and some techs' manicures definitely have better staying power and durability than others'. Overall, I find that this is a pretty good value for what you get, most of the techs do a good job, and I love that cat-eye dip is now being offered, but I'm just starting to question what's going on here. Are the workers too busy and stressed? Do they need more time in between clients?

Eastwood Hair Designs - Tara's highlighting job

Tara said it was due to wearing my hair in a pony. Nope. She was taking the bleach and going all the way to the ends. Every time. Picture shown was my results after the last time she highlighted it. I sent her a text with this picture. Tara responded that she would reach back out to me when she was back from vacation. Never heard from her again. I should have never allowed her to do my hair "hung over" as she said she was when I walked in the morning of this appt. Her laziness ruined my hair and she was too much of a coward to contact me like she said she would. Stay far away.

I have had awful luck in that state with haircuts. This place was recommended by my aunt- and I am SO glad I listened! I went to Brittany last summer to try a new style that I was nervous about- and she did fantastic! She even came in early to fit me in before I went home to Florida. A few months later I went to a salon in Orlando for a trim and they butchered my hair. I haven't had anyone touch it since until today when I was visiting family and Brittany was able to fit me into her day. I could cry I am so happy! It took about six months for my hair to grow back in (the FL stylist cut it that short via multiple mess ups) and she was able to fix it for me. She not only knows what she is doing, but she knows what is flattering for you personally. So important when it comes to a hair stylist! The atmosphere is welcoming and you can tell they really care about their clients. If I could get them to move to Orlando, that would be awesome! But until I find someone I can trust there- my haircuts will wait for trips to Syracuse I love this place (and Brittany!) that much.

The professional proprietor was the first to greet me with his smile and handsome very well groomed and stately mustache. Then after a short wait the very talented and delightful Caitlin carefully consulted me about my desired look before she dutifully like a gentle hair GURU..cut my hair to make me feel, look, and radiate again! I felt revitalized, almost as if the cut made me feel brand new! Thank you for the power cut QUEEN! I recommend completely.

Sorry Yelp engineering team-- I think that 5 stars might not be enough for Hairanoia…read more I was lucky enough to be able to schedule an appointment last minute, presumably due to a cancellation. Note that many of the stylists, especially the owner Michael, tend to book out for months. The online booking system was super simple to navigate, and gave me text updates. My appointment was in the evening, which in itself is a major plus. About an hour before my scheduled time, Michael called me and told me he could accommodate me 45 minutes earlier, which was a major plus. The shop was popping when I arrived-- phones ringing, customers popping in, even though it was the evening. The decor is really charming. Lots of interesting artwork and knick-knacks to catch the eye. When Michael asked, "what are we doing today?" I told him the color I wanted and he took the reins from there, which I appreciated, because I'm not the kind of person who goes to salons very often. Later in the appointment, he also asked if he could do a certain cut he thought would look good, and I said "go for it." I'm not the kind of client that has a specific vision in mind so I'm grateful when stylists use their expertise (but ask you.) Also, Michael explained that the dye he chose was less damaging and would be better suited for my hair, and he also recommended a few other products I should use. Some salons color your hair before they cut it, but I had a lot coming off, so Michael did a quick trim first. He cut it so quickly, I didn't even notice that my hair was suddenly 3-4 inches shorter until I glanced behind me and saw the floor littered with my split ends. Seriously, think this man might be some kind of ninja. When it came time to process the color, Michael asked me if I wanted to sit outside. This was the most unexpected delight of the evening. It turns out, they set up a little outdoor area with gravel, chairs, shade umbrellas, and even a fountain to work with COVID restrictions last year, and decided to bring it back this year. This was such a lovely surprise, and made for an unparalleled hair appointment experience. I don't get outside as much as I'd like to, so I appreciated getting a minute to sit in the sun. Granted, the neighbors were playing loud music so it was not perhaps quite as serene as expected, but I didn't mind so much. Throughout the visit Michael was very nice, as was the rest of the staff. My hair came out nice and the price was very reasonable. In fact, it was like reverse sticker shock-- I was actually surprised at how inexpensive it was. As someone with long hair, I tend to get charged more for these services-- I think because most stylists tend to do color first. Both the inside and outside areas of the salon were beautiful. Definitely recommend this one-- especially in the warm months when you can catch a little sunshine while your hair sets!

My mom has…read morebeen going to the same woman for her nails for as long as I can remember, but recently I noticed her nails looked too good, like noticeably different. I just knew it wasn't her usual tech. When I asked who did them, she handed me a card from Syracuse Nail and Spa. Funny enough, I think this is the same spot one of my coworkers recommended a while ago too. So I decided to give them a call, and they said they weren't busy and could take me right away. When I arrived, that was exactly the case -- I was seated and serviced immediately. I went with the green tea pedicure, which they told me was one of their best options. And let me just say -- it was so relaxing. They let my feet actually soak (which is rare nowadays), and I got to enjoy my book while the massage chair worked its magic. The pedicure included a foot massage, hot towel treatment, and a hot stone massage, which felt amazing. Everything was done with care and attention to detail. The same person also did my nails. I got a fill with my usual bubble bath pink color -- nothing too fancy, but I like to keep it simple. He took about 45 minutes on both my feet and hands, and I loved that he was both fast and efficient. I wear my nails in a round shape, and he did an excellent job with the shaping, which a lot of people struggle with. To top it all off, he gave me a back massage while I was drying (Under the UV dryer) and even gave me a hand massage with a hot towel after my manicure. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful -- very chill and relaxing. I went on a Thursday afternoon around 2:30 PM, and it wasn't crowded at all. The staff was kind, and overall the service made me feel taken care of. I'm definitely looking forward to going back and possibly trying some of their other therapeutic services in the future. Pricing Breakdown: Pedicure - $50 Gel polish on toes - $15 Total for pedicure - $65 Fill (estimated) - $50 Total Paid - $115 + Tip
