Let me begin by saying that Elisabeth was not my attorney. There was a piece of property left to…read moremy Aunt, and to my Father (whose portion I became the beneficiary of when he passed). My Aunt and I reached an agreement that involved her keeping the house and me being paid a lump-sum in exchange for my Father's portion of the house. Elisabeth was the attorney that SHE hired. Simple as the above may sound, this was a fairly complex and unusual case. The property was my grandmother's, left to my Father and Aunt. He passed 10 years after my grandmother and during those 10 years never forced the sale of the house, nor explicitly left me his portion of it. However, my grandmother's will indicated my Father's portion would become mine if he passed, and that was what my Father had indicated to me that he wanted to have happen. Suffice it to say that Elisabeth took care of everything. Things were done promptly, my questions were answered in a timely fashion, and even with all the complexities of this case it was settled on the first court date...all necessary documents were obtained by Elisabeth and everything was finalized without any delays. The agreed-upon lump-sum was wired two days later. It's worth noting as well that I live in Maui which complicated matters further, and all of the aforementioned was taken care of in California without me being present for ANY of it. I thank God that my Aunt wanted to do the right thing and that she hired an honest/ethical/competent attorney. I did not have an attorney in the midst of all of this but I felt that Elisabeth had regard for me even though I was not her client; and indeed she helped me out tremendously on two separate occasions. Elisabeth's integrity, competency and good-heartedness make her an A+ recommendation.
