In retrospect, we would have been better off just pulling off on the shoulder and engaging in a little "drown the fire ants." Still, we would not have seen that cool rattlesnake warning sign. Or enjoyed the wonderment: if you smell that much poop in a short period of time, what are the chances you can absorb Hep-A through your sinus tissues? Well, it is what it is. In fact, I lived a bit better this night because I was able to buy a few provisions at the fabulous Saucedo Market just before they closed. I really like this community; several years ago, while biketouring through, I was able to make critical bike repairs on my beloved Doublevision with parts from the Second Chance Lumber shop! HOWEVER, everything else was superb so it made up for it.
