I have seen many acupuncturists in my life, and Gami is by far the best.  Many years ago, she marked all of my points on my body with a marker dealing with all of my health issues (sinuses, allergies, lung function, immune and digestive issues).  First thing in the morning and before bed, I use my electrical accupen to zap all of the pressure points that I learned from her.  It is amazing how much better I feel after doing this.  Recently, I returned to see Gami after a head-on car crash on my mountain bike. I had some tearing of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) in my knee, extreme bruising on my shin bone below my knee and a deep wound into my shin tendons. After 4 months, my healing was stalled, and I visited Gami for an acupuncture treatment. She placed needles for my injuries (and issues with my prostate and kidneys) and hooked them up to pulsing electricity. She placed pulsating cups on the sides of my knee and on my shin tendons, and a wound healing laser treated my knee all the way down my leg through the shin tendons. I feel like a prince receiving a magical treatment that was not available to the average person. My knee and shin tendons felt much better afterwards. She marked the acupuncture points on my body, so I could self treat again. The next day, I started working out on my Nordic track for the first time. The next day, my knee felt so much better. Charged my grandma 20$ saying it was her co pay with Kaiser come to find out her co pay is only 5$ for Kaiser and they were charging 15$ extra. She also over heard the receptionists saying they were going to make up they're own yelp reviews to counter act the bad ones. Sounds like a shady place to me. Go else where! read more

Yuen Accupuncture in Redlands gives the best service ever! I've been to a few other acupuncturist and I just don't leave feeling pain relief the way I do when I go to Yuen. I have to say I do like adding the cupping to my Accupuncture experience. I literally fall asleep every time I'm having Accupuncture at this place. In my opinion it's better than getting a massage and the effects of treatment last sooooo much longer. read more

Do not waste your time here. I went to my first appointment and the girls at the front desk are so rude I could hear them reading yelp reviews and laughing and then going in and making their own good reviews. But despite that I decided to go back for my second appt since I did like that they offered the electric cupping so I showed up to my appointment with my confirmation email! And they told me it was at a different time even when I clearly showed them the email showing the time I was there . This place is a joke! read more

I am so glad to have found this place. Gami is an angel sent from heaven in my eyes!! I recommend her to everyone I speak to about my acupuncture experience. She really cares about her patients and it shows. It's only been a few sessions for me so far, I came to treat my stress related hair loss and I really do feel my chronic stress levels coming down, my depression lifting, and I just overall feel more balanced. I can tell these changes are directly related to the acupuncture because I always feel the best and most calm right after I have a session. My hair loss hasn't slowed yet but I'm confident if I continue with treatment and pay attention to my stress levels I will keep seeing improvement. Having had an exceptional acupuncturist for years in Tuolumne County for pain maintenance on my left stump, I was very concerned about finding someone down here in Redlands to continue my care. Yuen Acupuncture has acceded my expectations. The facility is comfortable. The front desk is caring, organized, and helpful. Gami is listens for my symptoms, correctly cares for said symptoms. This place is a complete JOKE!!! I went in for a consultation that was less than 5 mins. I go back up to the receptionist cause the lady wanted to do a service that day but I didn't want to I wanted to meet the dr and just do a consultation. I go up to leave and pretty sure it was one of the owner said "I have to bill your insurance for the consultation" so I get a bill and they billed for a "special lab service" $375.... pretty sure a consultation isn't a special lab service and no way should be $375!!! Then I get another bill for the same day stating $41 charge for acupuncture with electrical stimulation.... I never received acupuncture from this place EVER. I DID NOT GO BACK AFTER MY CONSULTATION!!! The Dr.Polet was rude and didn't care much about my questions while the 5 mins we spoke so I decided that place wasn't for me they're just money hungry. And sure enough I get these bills one that's a complete lie and the other That's is insanely over priced and not correct at all. I also called and once I disputed they sent me another bill for $85 stating that was the consultation... but previously said the $375 was. They got caught and tried to cover it up. I have had tremendous pain relief with Gami Yuen! She worked tirelessly to find just the right combination of treatments to help with my shoulder pain. I couldn't get the insurance company to approve surgery for a year and Gami helped me control the pain until I could get the surgical relief I needed. FIRST TIME ACUPUNCTURE - I had never seen an acupuncturist and was a little nervous, but I had horrific and relentless spasms in my neck that had been going on for days. I had tried a tens unit, massage, heat, ice, chiropractor and nothing seemed to stop the discomfort. I would get maybe 15 minutes of relief and then it was back. Front Office was more interested in determining my coverage (which is valid, and has already been used to schedule me elsewhere) than scheduling me as a new patient. She kept me on the phone ten minutes trying to verify benefits right away (which she couldn't, for whatever reason), then told me she'd call back, and me to provide her with the provider access number (another thing that I've never had to give to a medical office). Then she called back and asked *me* to call Blue Shield to help *her* verify coverage. I advised her that I didn't feel it was a good patient care practice to place this responsibility on the patient; I don't feel like I should have to spend this much of my time on a wild goose chase to verify benefits. Stress and pain are the reasons I've sought out their treatment; setting my first appointment shouldn't be this difficult, and it shouldn't feel unwelcoming. Lost a patient. read more
