Dr. Dale has been a gem in the sea of chiropractors. I went to three chiropractors prior to finding Active Life Chiropractic. All three said I would never run again which was devastating news. Without Dr. Dale, I would have a painful and limited life. I had sharp pain in my back. Dr. Dale said my ribs were out of place, and he adjusted them back again. If I had gone to urgent care, they would have taken X-rays, seen that there was no broken bones, and sent me home with anti-inflammatories. I have had back pains forever but the thought of going to a chiropractor was just a bit scary. I just imagined being in a room with obnoxious fluorescent lighting with some guy picking me up and body slamming me on the ground and hitting me up against a chair and a wall and making my back do all kinds of cracking, snapping and popping, while I'm screaming in pain and he is laughing hysterically and saying "that oughta fix ya!'" I don't know why my hypothetical chiropractor talks like that.. but anyway.... I finally got to a point where I had to face my fears and try this whole chiropractic thing out... and that's where my review begins (sooo.. I guess you could've skipped over this whole first paragraph.. sorry about that) I was very impressed with Active Life Chiropractic on my initial consultation. Dr Dale and Dr Ly did some tests, took some x-rays and examined my posture. They gave me a lot of information and were able to pinpoint the parts of my back that were giving me problems, without me even telling them where my aches and pains were. They recommended a treatment plan, and it was reasonably priced compared to some of the other chiropractors in the area (I did my research!) so I went ahead and signed up. About those adjustments.. what are those like? Quick, painless, and surprisingly effective. I've been getting regular adjustments since February and it's made significant improvement to my posture and I also don't have back pain anymore. I feel so much better. My treatment plan ended so I stopped going for a couple of weeks but then I started to feel back pain again so I'm back to going once a week. I'm not sure if that would be the case with anyone else who goes to a chiropractor or if I'm just getting old. Dr Dale, Dr Ly, and the rest of the staff are all very friendly. I enjoy my visits with them. This office is very open and kid-friendly which is why I subtracted one star. Sometimes it can get kinda loud with the little kids running around and playing. However, I can see how this would be a major plus for parents. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience with Active Life Chiropractic.
