I'm new to the area and decided to take my daughters here for breakfast. They were only accepting cash, which was fine. I got $20 worth of donuts and drinks. We got the park and I went to give my one year old her apple juice and could not believe the amount of stuff floating in the juice. The last time I was there about two years ago, around midnight, they had almost no donuts. Clerk said the truck arrives about (I forget, maybe 2 a.m.). Which means they're made elsewhere and delivered. This is a California chain.The headquarters are in Los Angeles, so you won't be getting nice warm fresh from the fryer donuts. Yum Yum Donuts in Porterville has been around for a long time and has provided fresh, quality donuts to our city for many years. This donut shop always has a large variety of donuts and in house creations, as well as coffee and other drinks available to purchase at the counter. Besides the large variety, their prices are reasonable and the employees are friendly and patient, and have no problem explaining any questions you may have. The donuts are delicious and I personally recommend the apple fritters. My wife is a fan of the corn horns and the apple bar (burrito?). Its a burrito stuffed with chunks of apple and glazed with cinnamon and sugar and it is GOOD! You also can't go wrong with a dozen donuts. Great breakfast sandwiches, croissants and espresso. We went each morning while staying at a nearby hotel. Delicious!

We went first thing in the morning before driving down to the Bakersfield Airport. There was a large variety of fresh donuts and they all looked so good! I ordered a yeasted cherry frosted donut and it was delicious! The coffee was fresh and hot. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was clearly a local favorite and I can understand why. They have a really great selection of donuts and croissant and miscellaneous other treats. It is very clean but the parking lot is too small for how much business they do. The issue here is on who you get to help serve you. I have had the sweetest girls serve me and the meanest. There is a young lady there that is very pushy and asked me 8 times "anything else" was so rude it ruined my morning and my meal. I went in to buy donuts for a friend. They were out of the donuts she liked, however had an entire tray of fresh donuts in the kind I needed. You should train your staff in customer service. How are you going to have items on the menu (specifically a blueberry scone) for costumer to order yet staff has no idea what it is? Then when you point it out on the menu staff treats you like you're stupid by saying "well we don't have that" with attitude even though it's clearly on the menu. Service was the worst. First of all the person did not speak english. However, I tired to look past that and was willing to try my best to communicate with him. Second, my cousins and I were still debating what 4 other donuts we wanted. He just went ahead and threw in random donuts and taped it up and waited for us at the register. Third, one of my cousins wanted to buy an iced coffee but he said they didn't sell it. Why in the world would you have pictures of Iced coffee all over your restaurant if you didn't sell it?
