The park has bathrooms, picnic tables under a large pavilion, a play ground, and a sandy beach. There's even an outdoor shower for cleaning off the sand when you're done. On an August weekday around noon, there were multiple families at the park to lounge and swim. The bridge provides ample shade for sitting on the beach or swimming in the water. The water was clear and looked clean. Some kids had tied a rope swing to the bridge and were swing jumping into the water - so fun! Yuma is HOT and frankly quite ugly, without much to offer the passerby outside of food, fuel, and the prison (also worth a stop!!). Gateway Park is an exception - a beautiful spot and a great break point for the weary traveler. Bring swimsuits - you won't just want to dip your feet in!

Only have beef with one hole, it borders a fence line to the left and the hole is a dogleg left. To the right is water. Not the best course design for that one. Saturday came around and I called to confirm but said I didn't have sneakers, he went above and beyond and found a pair to loan me! I don't mean to offer up a service of shoe rentals lol, but just wanted to show the level of kindness and customer service Jet Rent has. These people are crazy another power trip for the books they think they own the beach problem is…read morefederal law states that all beaches in USA are public not private which is why you don't have greedy people trying to sell spots on the beach or businesses charging to rent cabanas and chairs. Last but not least the reason why we can sit on the beach in the sand and order drink or food because beach is a public land never to be sold or profiting from it. There is only 1 place in the Hamptons New York that was grandfathered in 1908 and still operating today on the beach and the resort owns that area of Beach. So they have no right to control the beach or who's on it!!!

We arrived on time, the joint was locked up, when we called the number we got no answer. After a half hour we left. Talked to the fill in help, said they would make it up to us, just wanted us to not tell the boss. When we related this to the boss, she said that she didn't believe it. I can't do business with anyone who calls my wife a lier. I am taking my refund to the Jet their competitor, 24hour rental for $500, with a trailer. I suggest you do too. Do not recommend.
