If I could give ZERO STARS I WOULD Girl cut my toe so bad it was bleeding after they had the nerve to charge 10.00 extra dollars for the scraper and she tried to hide the mistake she made. If I did not call her out she would have done nothing. Then when I getting nails done with a fill they scraped the whole side of my finger and more blood. Should have wiped off whole bill instead of 20.00...Horrible service .. never again GO ELSEWHERE. read more

Stopped in here on a Sunday around 11 and only had to wait a few minutes. The staff was very helpful and making sure everyone got in and out in a timely manner. I got a simple pedicure and was very impressed. The woman who did my pedicure had good attention to detail and asked me if I liked my color choice after she painted the first nail. Everyone here was super friendly and very good at what they do! I will for sure be back. read more

I love it here! I just moved to East Meadow and have tried different salons around the area. So far, Yumi nail has been the best. The salon is clean, the nail techs are really nice and welcoming and they actually speak to you. There are clear "curtains" in between each seat, as well as a plastic barrier that is placed on the table between you and the tech & they all are wearing masks. When I came in, I did not have an appointment. They accept walk-ins. Upon entering, they all said hello! I love that when I stated what I wanted, they did not ask if I wanted this or that, or try to convince me to get something else cause it's "better". I honestly loved that they just agreed to do what I requested. I kindly asked my nail lady if I can show her pictures of what I wanted, and she patiently waited while I searched for the picture and said, "okay no problem"! With a big smile. I also did not feel rushed, I did not feel like she was rushing. She took her time and made sure my nails were perfect and even. Prior to putting the polish, She gave me a short hand massage & when I sat at the drying station, she gave me a short back massage as well! When she did my first nail, she asked if I liked it or if I wanted to change colors, I was really happy and pleased to know that if I didn't like it, it wouldn't have been an issue to change it. I chose to do a coffin French, and coffin shape is an extra $5. I love how they came out & can't wait to go back! read more

I tried this place out for the first time today and was in the process of looking for a nail salon that I could go to regularly. I was looking for a place that was nearby, reasonably priced, and most importantly, have an excellent finished product! (I think I'm more particular about my nails than most people) I am so glad to have found this place and have already scheduled my next appointment with them! The workers are excellent and the lady who did my nails was so thorough with her work, painting every bit of space of my nails (a lot of places don't do this unfortunately). Cuticles and my nail shape was perfectly cut and filed. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure and I am in love! I went back a second time and my nails came out horrific. I had to get my gel nails removed and the technician(different one than before) literally shaved off my nails so inconsistently that I still had some gel leftover on some parts, while she shaved off too much on certain areas leaving my nail really thin! I was going to get a gel manicure again but I couldn't trust the technician, so I just opted out on a manicure. My nails are still recovering from that day (two months ago). The week prior to my daughters 9th birthday I walked in and made an appointment for 5 girls at 3:30pm on a Friday. "No problem". I love it! This is my regular nail salon have been going here for years! I used to get designs on my nails and they always came out good. Now I've moved on to gel and pedis and they always come out nice. The gel lasts a really long time and doesn't chip or crack. Very happy with this place. The only complaint would be that the parking is a little tight. read more

Lee has been doing my nails for a couple of years now and he does great work. He speaks English very well (I mean no offense to anyone, but it's important to be able to communicate with your nail person or anyone working on you for something particular). He knows exactly how I like my nails done and is great at gently removing the overlay to preserve the natural nail underneath when I need a new set. As for pedicures and waxing, Bonnie is my go-to. She does a nice job. I like a neat pedicure and my brows pointy. They don't always give a massage while you dry, but usually do. Great place which is why I keep going back. read more

They may be good to new customers but they're absolutely terrible to returning ones. I'd rather not even waste time on details because this salon isn't worth it so do yourself a favor and find a different one because the workers show such an attitude to returning customers. I liked this place... When I first walked in it was warm but it didn't smell like fumes, it looked clean. There were only 4 workers in there on a Saturday afternoon which I don't think is enough, an elderly woman had to wait 20 for a filling. But the workers seems friendly and I had a guy who was super nice and knew his stuff. They could do something about the music, it went from elevator music to love songs to Chinese music... Odd mix, and the tv in the corner had Pirates of the Caribbean on. But I would def going there again. read more

I have been using Yumi nail salon for about 7 years and am very happy with them. It's a very nice atmosphere, the employees are very friendly and accommodating and I have never had a problem with a manicure or pedicure. I get gel manicures which last 3 weeks or even more but my nails grow out by three weeks so I have to get them done again. read more
