First time here asked for a $55 papaya foot package got here at 11 ended at 12:10 after multiple attempts of trying to make my color correct on my toes. I asked to pick out a different color that was white. And that was not see-through and this is what I got. They knew the color wasn't right as they kept switching bottles Also, I went to the desk to pay and I was charged $70 instead of the $55. I had one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences at this nail salon that has officially ended my business relationship with them after going there twice a month, every month for the past three (3) years. You go for the person that does your nails, so many times you can look past certain things (bathrooms out of order, flooding, etc.) but today was the nail in the coffin. Before my visit today, I called to ask if I needed to bring in my physical gift certificate that a friend had given me. The person I spoke to assured me it wasn't necessary and that they would still honor it. Based on that information, I scheduled my appointment and came in as instructed that day. After receiving the service, I was suddenly told that they would not accept the gift certificate without having it physically in hand -- directly contradicting what I had been told over the phone. When I explained that I was following their own instructions, the situation quickly escalated. Instead of trying to work with me or take any responsibility for their mistake, the manager (who would not give his name but I believe was pronounced Jun-Yi) was incredibly dismissive and rude, acted like I was trying to pull a fast one, even though I had clearly made every effort to clarify the policy ahead of time. He insisted that I have never come in before, despite having a loyalty account (a loyalty account that, can only be applied to if you pay cash, my services were always paid by card so all this can be proven), initially refusing to look it up. He wouldn't listen, wouldn't budge, and showed zero interest in resolving the issue fairly. His tone was condescending, accusatory, and unprofessional to say the least. I left feeling humiliated and disrespected -- all because I trusted what their staff (Jenny & Ivy) told me. There is another woman who sits at the right side with a calendar she's been there scheduling but acted as a robot asking me for the number of a gift card, which I explained it was thrown away mistakenly, the gift card would have had my name along with Happy birthday. Not only that, but this so called "manager" made me call up the person that gave me the gift certificate to forward HER bank records to prove that she paid for the gift certificate. After she did exactly that, the "manager" called my friend and I liars, and said that my friend must've paid cash despite the bank records reflecting a gift certificate purchase signed by Jenny, and even with Jenny confirming that a gift certificate had been bought and signed by her. Never in my life have I had to call someone else to authenticate a bank record for someone else, let alone being called a liar after having it verified.Then this so called "manager" offered me $25 (half the value of the gift card) to go away. Slimy business in bad faith to say the least. This is not how you treat paying customers of years, again 2 times a month for 3 years. Every two weeks $100.00+, and in addition I tipped very well each time - because I saw how hardworking the technicians are. Each time I came in the other technicians would trip over trying to take me to their station. I was an easy-going client and a constant one. No longer. A simple apology or willingness to honor their own word would've gone a long way. Instead, I was charged in full and left with a terrible experience. I will never return to this salon, and I strongly encourage others to take their business elsewhere -- somewhere that values honesty, accountability, and basic courtesy. I got a gel removal and then uv gel and it came to 37! Was very pleased with my experience, the vibe inside is quiet and relaxing and my nail tech was very attentive. They are super clean and the lady who did my nails made sure they were just the way I wanted it even though her other customer was yelling about having an appointment and taking too long. Utterly upset. I finally thought I found my go to spot for mani pedi, only to be disappointed. I had an appt for 3pm, went in on time. Pedi was done as soon as I walked in. After my pedi, I had to wait over half an hr to get my gel powder mani done. I understand accommodating walk ins, but I took the time to make an appt and had to wait that long? I watch customers who walked in after me finish and I was still waiting. Not to mention my pedi and mani were rushed and one of my nail already broke. Asked her why my daughter and my friend got oil on their cuticles and I did not and said everyone does things differently and was very nasty And annoyed at me. I decided to give them a try based on the reviews emphasizing their adherence to Covid- 19 protocols, and customer satisfaction with the services provided. The salon is very attractive and modern inside. No "nail shop" smell that is common with so many other salons. I immediately felt comfortable because it was busy. Upon entry I was seated right away (off to a good start). I appreciated the attention to cleanliness. Use of gloves, sanitizer, sanitized utensils, etc.. Once Ping started on my nails, I knew she knew what she was doing. Which definitely eased my anxiety of trying a new place. So this is going to be a long review but I'll try to make it short. I came here instead of my usual spot because it looked beautiful. Upon coming inside it was spacious and very nice. I walked in got a pedicure and permanent French UV gel. I brought my sister as well and she got a regular gel mani and a pedicure. The total for all 4 with tip came out to $210, pricey very very pricey but I figured it should be worth it, was I wrong. The pedicure lasted for a total of 7 minutes after I waited for 25 mins for someone to start WITH AN APPOINTMENT. The guy who did my nails was not very nice or accommodating he wouldn't listen when I told him to do them shorter. I left and less than 24 hours later because he made my nails so thin my nail broke, I had to go back and someone named Diana fixed it without accepting money she was GREAT. Not even a week later and look at my nails 4 missing and broke off because of the crappy job they did. I spent $210 for abs no reason. This place is NOT worth the price go else where I promise. I had my nails done two weeks ago with a gentleman not very happy but I didn't have time to come back to fix it. I had gotten powder gel I went back today May 26 to remove the nail so that I can have them re-done and the girl who's running the salon totally ignored me told me she couldn't help me I said I just want to remove them now and I'm not coming back to get my nails done again because I was very upset with how I was treated by this girl she completely ignored me and pretended I wasn't even there. I finally had somebody start removing my nails eventually that manager told her to go work on another person and left me there for a half hour sitting with nail polish remover. After waiting for a half hour I got up and left and I am now taking off the nails by myself. I've never been so rudely treated before and I would not recommend this place first of all I was complaining when I got the nails done To the manager and I explain to her it wasn't well done they were sick they looked horrible but because I had no time to come back I had to leave and that was. As a matter of fact, the technician I usually see (there were a few at first) came back from her vacation early awhile back so could make an appointment so I could leave for Vacation without my nails breaking. I had even asked if she suggested someone else to fill in. Everyone is very nice to me. I had to wait a long time one Saturday & I received a discount and some extra fun designs on my nails. I see people commenting about staff conversation. People that start using a new language are often shy as they feel they may not be understood or may be made fun of. I don't see any issue with them using their native language to communicate with each other. My usual technician often asks one of her co-workers to translate if she cannot understand my vocabulary. Or if she does not have the word in English, she'll show me a photo. I have never been asked to get cash from an ATM instead of using a credit card or been pushed to give a gratuity. Horrendous customer service and extremely overpriced. I showed the design multiple times to the man doing my nails to make sure he could do it and he said he could. The design looked so bad and was extremely sloppy, and he charged me $90. I left and ended up going back to have them fix it. They then blamed the fact that it looked bad on me. They were extremely rude when I went back and asked if they could fix it. If you're gonna charge people almost $100 on nails, then the design needs to look exactly like the photo.
