Flushing nail salons are small or not all that clean but when I walked in here, it was spacious and very clean. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I just had the closest thing I've ever had to an out of body experience. Your girl loves a coupon and I had $10 off on a relax spa pedicure. I didn't read what that included. Started off putting my hands in lotion gloves and putting my hands into a heated pocket- forcing me to put my phone down and enjoy the moment even more. Then this man Jun unleashed ancient massage secrets on my feet during a 25 minute massage while they broke out a steamer over my legs. I would give 50 stars if I could. read more

Don't go for powder gel. My friend and I went in to get powder gel before going out for a friends birthday. They were nice and sat us right away as I had made an appointment prior to arriving. I looked at the reviews and photos and thought they would be good. I guess they maybe just specialize in manicures and UV gel because the powder gel came out horrible. We both walked out with THICK nails and mine were not smooth at all. I didn't notice until a little later and too late for me to return since I needed to be somewhere. Although the customer service was good and they were nice - I go there with the intention of having nails I love. They weren't filed down almost at all, which I didn't notice because I was talking to my friend. Maybe I'm just too trustworthy, but I don't ever want to be on top of someone while they're doing their job. It's just not who I am. Going to another place. Which is infuriating because the nail technician insisted the gel she was going to use instead of the acrylic I wanted would "last so much longer" and "is so much stronger" - FALSE $50 for my nails to peel and break within 2 days! Not thrilled. Visited Nail House about five times and each time I go I'm less satisfied. This time I had a pedicure (with appointment). My pedicure lasted about 17 minutes and I felt like my toes were being attacked with the nail cutter and cuticle pusher. The place is not as clean as it once was, and I could do a better job myself in the comfort of my own home. Glad I brought my own polish color so I can fix my toes later. Beyond disappointed. I made an appointment for 5:45 PM for a mani and pedi. With all my accountability I apologized for being late as I walked in at 5:56 PM. Their website states they close at 7 PM. The pedicure was done in 15 minutes, I timed it as I saw the nail technician rushing through the whole process. My nails were not cut nor shaped nor was I asked if I wanted them cut. The cuticles were not cut nor cleaned either. I was so disappointed that I didn't even get a manicure as I have never been rushed out of place like this before. This place is really clean and I loved how they have variety of colors. I wasn't able to get her name but I showed her the nail designs I wanted and she was able do them for me. I don't get my nails done often, but I visited here through a friend's recommendation and got my nails done here for the New Year. My friend and I made a last minute reservation and they were able to accommodate us. My first impression was that the customer service was good because they were expecting us. We were a bit early, but they seated us immediately. The salon is kept really cleanly and they have a huge nail polish selection. I couldn't decide on what exact design I wanted, so I went with my manicurist's recommendation. I seriously got so many compliments at my holiday party. My cuticles usually bleed at other salons, but they were really gentle on my cuticles. I wish I got my manicurists name cause the short, hot towel hand massage was seriously so good. She painted on the gel way too thick and when told the polish was bumpy she insinuated that it was my nails that we're bumpy!!! My mom lives in Merrick and recommended this salon. As soon as I walked in, I was surprised how spacious and clean this salon was. On top of that, the ladies in the front spoke perfect English. I got the honey spa pedicure (which is on promotion right now). They applied honey on my legs and wrapped hot towel around it. It was AMAZING. The salon is large, clean, spacious and nicely appointed. They have a huge nail polish selection and were immediate to sit me with JUNE (short strawberry blonde hair). June worked very quickly, overlooking my cuticles. She said "pay now" within minutes of starting and stared at me blankly without telling me the price or writing it on a receipt (like most salons do). After paying 10 DOLLARS (shocking) I asked about my cuticles. She gave a quick glance and did maybe 4 of my fingers. When she finished my polish, I showed her one finger (of many that needed cuticles pulled) and asked she fix it. She just stated rudely after rolling her eyes "cuticle after dry" and ushered me away. Annoyed, I sat and dried and was sure to return to her to clean up my cuticles. She was clearly annoyed that I returned, looked at my nails, said "what cuticle?", laughed and complained to the nail gal next to us while nodding her head implying that there was nothing to fix. After experiencing her obnoxious attitude, I went straight to who I thought was the owner and explained June's shoddy work and worse...her offensive attitude. The owner sat and calmly did my cuticles for about 5 minutes & wished me a good night with a smile (no apology) upon finishing. This is hands-down the best nail salon in the neighborhood. As soon as I walked in, the first to catch my eye was how immaculate the store was! Upon my service request, I was taken in immediately and I had the nail technician named Jackie. I highly recommend making an appointment with Jackie because your girl was not disappointed! I told Jackie I had a baby shower (it's a boy!) to attend and wanted my nails colored blue but did not want just a monotonous color scheme, but also didn't want to steer away from blue! Creatively, she picked out these amazing blue colors and even added an accent nail of shimmer! Best gel manicure I've gotten- I've been to almost every nail salon in Bellmore/Merrick. Just came back to get fresh gel after 2 weeks but they stayed in great condition with minimal chipping, could have gone another week if my nails hadn't grown so much. Erica did my nails today and I'll add the photo. My nails look great. They do charge a few dollars over what I think to be normal price... I'd say they made up for this quite well considering I was given a complimentary massage that lasted for more than 10 minutes. This place has more chairs than most places in the area and I have never had to wait. By the way, someone previously mentioned being charged for having their old gel taken off- I was not charged.
