Amazing service and even better food. I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want the place to get too popular and for the secret to get out. It's a small family run middle eastern store and sort of deli, they have a lot of middle eastern spices and things for purchase in their store, including sumac (way cheaper than any other place I could find). You're usually greeted by the owner or the cook when you walk in, and they're very friendly so you feel right at home when you walk in. They have a deli counter where they have premade humus with tons of flavor options including roasted garlic, cilantro, etc (hint try the beet one it's one of my favorites and is amazing) and different types of middle eastern salads and samosas. I have legitimately never had anything bad from behind the counter; but my favorite is when you order food to be made like a chicken plate or a lamb gyro or shawarma.. I don't know what they put in their food but man is it addicting. Also you almost never get this anymore but they make evening from SCRATCH. This is hands down the best kept secret in Solon, and is much better than the large middle eastern restaurants or chains, and cheaper by quite a bit. read more

So glad to finally stop by here after passing by so often around town. My expectations were exceeded! I've been on a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine kick lately but this one beats them all! The staff is so friendly and warm. I told them it was my first time and the workers gave us little sample spoons and asked what kind of hummus we would like to try. I got the shish kebab platter and you can see from my picture that it was loaded with sizable, grilled meat, seasoned rice, beets, pickles, peas, hummus, a garlicky yogurt sauce, etc. and a pita wrap. All that for $11 is such a good deal and the presentation was gorgeous! My BF had a falafel wrap which he only finished 1/2 of. He also went all in and got a whole tub of lemon ginger soup, a rice side dish, a lb of hummus, oh, and I tried this lychee soda that was refreshing! Their menu really is so appetizing and their desserts are very reasonably priced. We ate in and there are like 2-3 bistro tables. They also have a market section with lots of goodies. I just wish they were labeled but none of them have prices! You have to bring up the item to be scanned to know the price. They don't serve water though, FYI. Absolutely Incredible! I ordered from Yummus yesterday, and I am still thinking about how amazing everything was! Every single dish we tried was superb. The vegetarian grape leaves were perfectly seasoned and so fresh. We also had the chicken, beef, and lamb dishes -- each one cooked to perfection, tender, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. And the garlic sauce and babganoosh hummus... Completely out of this world. Creamy, bold, and absolutely addictive. Honestly, everything we ate was delicious -- there wasn't a single thing we didn't love. On top of the incredible food, the people were so warm and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. It's clear they take pride in both their food and their customer service. Tucked away in Solon is this cozy authentic mom-and-pop spot is serving up some of the most legit Mediterranean food I've had in the area. Think creamy, nutty baba ghanooj, rich garlic hummus, and grape leaves (vegetarian and meat options!) that taste just like they came out of a home kitchen--because they basically did. Everything is a homemade recipe and you can feel the love in every bite. Zaza, the owner, is the heart of the place. Warm, generous, and clearly passionate about her food, and will walk you through what to try and buy. I have looked for good baba ghanoush in Cleveland and finally found it here where it's the perfect texture, smoky, and just the right hint of nuttiness. The garlic hummus is not overloaded with salt and perfect balance of garlic taste. Definitely try their meat samosas - the beef one was generously portioned at affordable prices and not overly greasy. The Baklava is also a win with just the right amount of cashew and sweetness. Very cute and affordable mom and pop shop that treats you like family and everything behind the glass counter is homemade. The owner, Zaza, is so incredibly welcoming and provides knowledgable recommendations - we ended up getting - Baba Ghanooj - perfect nuttiness and texture and true to many of the baba ghanoushes I've had elsewhere Garlic hummus - perfect balance of garlic and not overly salty Ground beef samosa - very flavorful ground beef, packed generously in thin layer of samosa (just how I prefer it) - not super deep fried crispy so it appears less oily Spicy veggie samosa - not too spicy but flavorful and great option for vegetarians. Nice addition to Solon! Easy to find, park and get to next to CVS at 91 and 43, across from Jim's Open Kitchen. Not big. There are a few tables to eat in but mostly take out. They have about 20 homemade hummus'. Lots of unique flavors and you can try, we asked about a few and got samples. They are all very good! We ordered 2 veggie pitas, orzo salad, tabuleh,, feta cheese dip and spanakopita. It was way too much food. So we ate about a quarter of it and took a lot home. LOL! It was all very good. Very fresh. Prices are about mediocre. Not bad really. People are nice and you can try before you buy. Can't go wrong. This will be in regular rotation. read more

this is a small independently owned business that makes fresh Mediterranean food. They have variety of pastries and flavors of hummus and many different types of salads, including tabouli and chickpea salad. I got the chicken with rice dinner and the lamb kaftaxdinner. I also got some of the lemon, hummus and pita chips. The food was very tasty and fresh. My only complaint was that some of the items in the refrigerated section seemed to be out of date. Recently opened Mediterranean deli-style carryout. Stopped in for the first time and picked up a few things to try- a chicken shawarma and a veggie wrap. Also got some garlic pita chips, kalamata olive feta dip, and some spanakopita. Everything was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and the store was clean. From their premade deli salads hummus and baba to their samosas and desserts plus you can't forget the shawarma wraps, I had the lamb and it was awesome! I ordered the beef Shawarma wrap and going against all other rules, number one rule of never Shop while you're hungry , do eating with my eyes I bought the hummus, grape leaves and their samosas. Yummus maybe is our new favorite Mediterranean place. The store did not have a lot of seatings but was very cozy. My boyfriend and I shared chicken and beef kibbehs, meat stuffed grape leaves, and zatar pie. We both liked the beef kibbeh better than the chicken one. The chicken was a bit spicy to me. The zatar pie was packed full of flavor but I did not like the bread as much as my partner did. The grape leaves were okay. I wished there was more meat filling. We each got ourselves a shawarma. He got the beef and I got the lamb one. I liked mine better lol. I have to say I never had any shawarma that tasted like that before. The seasoning was new but interesting and we both loved our shawarma. I also got a small bowl of chicken soup as well. It is not your typical chicken soups. I am happy to see that somebody is finally serving Turkish coffee! I love Turkish coffee. The owner gave me complimentary coffee because it was my first time there, and she also gave me garlic sauce, which I love. I am definitely going back.
