This place is an absolute gem! The food was fresh and delicious. The service was prompt and everyone was so kind. I was very happy to see some familiar faces from a former Peruvian restaurant. Two of the dishes that were ordered were the Tallarines Huancaína (beef) and the Lomo Saltado. Both were very good!

GREAT food. Go for the passion fruit drink and the steak. Octopus was tough, but everything else was great. Good portion sizes too.

    Cool atmosphere!

We ordered the guacamole dip thinking it was the one on the menu, for $4.99, but it ended up being the $8.99 bowl that we could not find on the extensive menu. I had Ñoquis Gratinados with steak. it was good, the steak was okay, but would have preferred all the cuts of meat be the same size, and bite sized. Spouse had the Churrasco a lo Pobre, a taco, and a tamale. The taco was good. The tamale, although large in size did not have much pork in it. The meat on the churrasco a lo pobre plate was really tough, unless you really like to chew, and chew, and chew, think twice about ordering the churrasco a lo pobre plate. If you do order it, bring your dental floss. Although we spoke to the waiter about the tough meat, and the waiter admitted he tried cutting the meat and it was tough. After that, there was no attempt to replace the meat with a more tender piece nor was my spouse asked if he wanted to try a different dish. When paying for the meal, there was no discount offered for the tough meat on the plate. The eggs on the plate were also kind of over cooked and brown and crispy around the edges. Customer service is lacking. Unfortunately for the restaurant, we will not be patrons.

Our drinks were also da bomb (great): Horchata and Chicha Morada...yum and yum!! Desert was Flan...a final yum...we will definitely return!!!

When we came in there was no table available. Server tried to prepare a table in room to the right. He failed to do that. Then we got seated in a middle of cafe. After 15 minutes we were asked to go sit at the booth table because they have a bigger party coming. We waited for a food for about an hour. In a mean time waitress kept coming to ask are we doing ok,.lol Our table was next to the bathroom and we heard waitress talking amongst themselves about what they found in one of the stalls. Then customers next to us were asked to stand up, as apparently their seat is a bench and staff is storing bleach bottles in those benches. So 2 older ladies had to get up so staff can retrieve bottle of bleach from under their seat. Food was nothing but mediocre and simple mocktail cost $14 at lunch time. Too bad that we had such a horrible experience. This place does look cute in a pictures.

We got tacos, chips w salsa and queso, and caesar salad. We thought the food was really good especially the massive plate of chips with our queso and salsa which was probably our tables favorite part. Happy hour deal on drinks was great! Only giving a lower review because there wasn't a wide variety to the menu - but nothing specifically wrong with the restaurant. We would definitely come back!

After roaming into a number of fun shops, we realized we were feeling up to a snack and drinks, and we happened across LaCo. The service and the food and drinks were good, and there was a nice ambiance to the place, too. The four of us immediately were seated at a bar during happy hour in the early afternoon when there were only a few people there. In fact, other than two people just leaving when we arrived, we were the only ones at the bar until just before we left. We arrived on a weekday afternoon just as happy hour was starting. Happy Hour prices included $2 off select wines and their house margarita, $1 off bottled beer, and discounted priced appetizers. My wife and I shared an order of Salsa Roja which included charred tomato salsa served with house friend chips. One of our friends ordered some blackened chicken wings, and both of our friends ordered drinks. Everyone was happy with what we ordered. LaCo stands for Latin Coastal as it is considered "30A's Latin coastal kitchen" with Latin-inspired lunch and dinner dishes with a coastal twist. The restaurant is located between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach in Seacrest Beach. They operate on "beach time" and do not take reservations. Their published hours are daily from 11 AM to 9 PM with limited yet special priced happy hour menu from 3-5 PM and a full menu during the other times of the day. You can see their menu, photos, and more information about their restaurant as well as order online and sign up for news and updates at https://laco30a.com. While we do not head to 30A that often, if we head back to Seacrest Beach, we'll certainly consider another visit to LaCo, perhaps when the full menu is available. We recommend this restaurant to others wanting a unique taste and a filling snack or meal!
