They sent me an incomplete order and items that had spilled inside the bag and refused to resend what they had missed from my order and refused to provide a refund for the damaged items. I noticed the missing item which was a 2 liter soda before I noticed the damaged order and when I called the lady who picked up the phone had the nerve to tell me that 1. "I have soda here on counter, driver forgot to pick it up." and 2. "You're so far from us that's why and it's going to take a very long time for him to go back to you." So the soda was on the counter and you let your delivery guy walk off without it? And then on top of that you're telling me I'm too far? Their restaurant is on 41st street and I'm on 15th street. I am quite literally 10 minutes by bike and 6 minutes by car according to Google maps. They just didn't want to send it to me and it was obvious of that when they processed the refund after telling me that I would have to wait for my soda. Then when I noticed the dumplings and sauce that looked like it'd been on a rollercoaster I called grubhub, but because they use their own delivery drivers and can refuse to provide refunds I was only able to get a discount code for my next order. I've lived in this neighborhood for 8 years. For too long I was looking for a good Chinese spot, until I found Yummy Yummy. So legit. Grew up in nyc eating Chinese take out and this place is as good as it gets. Orange Flavored beef is a stand out, broccoli with garlic sauce, and cold sesame noodles too - but honestly I've gotten take out or delivery from this place dozens of times and never been disappointed. My last order was for beef and broccoli with a side of sauce for 1$ and chicken chow main with extra chicken for $2. ALL VEGETARIANS/VEGANS BE WARE!!!! I ordered vegetarian dumplings and I bit into a MEAT dumpling (...mind you I haven't had meat in YEARS). The person who answered the phone made me send a picture to him on his personal phone for PROOF! Then once it was confirmed that it was in fact meat, he refused to deliver me a new order because they were "too busy". Horrible/inappropriate customer service. Sad to say no very Yummy Yummy at all! I ordered dumplings, broccoli, General Tso Chicken, egg foo young, pork Appetizer and more..... The only thing edible was the broccoli. The chicken was chewy and tasted like it had been microwaved to hardness. The dumpling was wrapped in a thick doughy bread like wrap. The egg foo young tasted like old fish oil eggs with a horrible gravy..... Not worth it! read more

I agree with the other posts - this is the best Chinese food in the neighborhood. Very good shrimp with vegetables in garlic sauce and hot and sour soup. After five years in sunset park this is still my go-to place often called while crossing the bridge on the D or the N to be ready when arriving home. This place is a neighborhood last resort. The guy who takes orders over the phone is a lil' short, but living in this city for years you get what you get sometimes, but I don't do well trying to locate a delivery guy in the rain, who gets hot because his tip isn't up to his standards. In fairness the orders come quick, but having to draw folks a map after becoming a regular customer with a mouthy delivery guy, that don't get you a bigger tip. read more

The worst Chinese food in this area. They intentionally charge a higher price than shown on the menu unless question them. They charged me more 3 times in a row for no reason. I did not notice it the first two times until I got home and read the menu again. Today the same thing happens. They asked $2 more for a $6 takeout. I noticed and questioned them. The explanation was "oh, I looked at the wrong one." What?! What is gonna happen if I did not raise question? Never going this place again. Waste of money. read more

I found this place by driving by as yelp did not put it in my search results for sunset park. I live in sunset park, am fairly new here and could not find good chinese at all. I order the same thing from a variety of local joints and by far this is my favorite! I order pepper steak with onion and make it spicy and the beef actually tastes like beef, it is not fatty and they don't skimp on the beef. The beef to veggie portion is good. and the sauce tastes authentic not like brown water. The rice is also very flavorful. We got chicken and broccoli too and the broccoli was not hard compared to other places, the chicken was good and the egg rolls are huge! The presentation is good and looks like something you want to eat I am very happy I found my chinese place! My order came super fast too. I plan to order again and thank the prior reviews that lead me to my order here. They have an A on their window too which I look for. read more
