I needed a place for my large dog, and she graciously answered all of my questions via text in a reasonable amount of time. This is BY FAR the most affordable place I have ever been to. In saying that, here are a few tips: Julianna is flexible, but try your best to drop off and pick up when you say you will if she is available. She cannot guarantee availability. Text before arriving there. Julianna prefers texting because she usually cannot hear on the phone when she's taking care of all the animals. Lol. For everyone's safety - with pets going in and out at various times - plus a busy street in front of their shop, Massey's keeps the front door locked... so text! Bring any and all food, treats, toys, and bedding you want your pet to have. My dog is healthy. Needs no medicine. She has no major behavioral issues, so I'm not sure how specialized this place may get... Venmo payments are accepted. Rates for my dog were $25 per day as of June 23, 2025. My dog stayed a total of 7 days (drop off 9 am on June 18 and picked up before 4:30 pm on June 24). Final notes - my dog LOVES Julianna. My girl didn't even get sad when I left. LOL. Guests are to stay up front. Once I left, the friendly pet-sitter placed my dog in her own separate kennel and allowed her "big yard" play time 2-3 times per day by herself. It may not be high end boarding or a luxury setting, but my dog came home happy, healthy, and with no issues.

This place has a few pitfalls that keep me from not purchasing a yearly membership: First off, the wait to get to where you're going can be a bit much. The lines are a bit confusing as it is. They've since simplified it within the 9 months that I have lived here, but it could be even more simpler. Second, the clientele are less than appeasing. I tend to cause like a sailor, but not in public. It gets old. Amenities: + cardio equipment on the top floor + free weights, plate loaded, and selectorized machines on the bottom floor + gym (the floor is lined for basketball, volleyball, pickleball, four-square & shuffleboard) + indoor track + lap pool + locker room + personal trainer available + racquetball courts (2 available... reservations also available) + splash pad + spa (for ages 13 years & up) + sports programs (adult & youth) + studio & wellness classes + turf (soccer, flag football, ultimate frisbee, & golf) + water slides (4' & taller) My girls have participated in the volleyball classes here which were okay, but not very competitive. Just this past weekend (5/6/2023) I took the to the splash area for the first time area. Even though I declined to swim, I was still charged admission ($4 for the entire day). My 8 & 9-year-olds were charged $3 apiece for entry. We took our cat to them because she was not eating well was very lethargic, and was not using the…read morebathroom. Her belly seemed to be larger than normal, like maybe she was constipated. They took her in and kept her overnight. The next evening a person called (not a veterinarian) and said she had pancreatitis and they were treating her. They end up keeping her for 3 days and said she was doing well and was ready to come home, we picked her up and she could barely walk, her belly was even bigger than when we dropped her off, she was still not eating or using the bathroom. They charged us $1600.00 I hope she is able to make through the night so we can get her to an actual veterinarian tomorrow. I will never take another one of my animals to that place again. What a joke.

Humble Pool is also nearby, but to my knowledge the public pool hasn't been open on years so I don't know why it still exists. I like this park because... + playground equipment + picnic tables + sand volleyball court + shade trees + pavillions + bbq grill + restrooms + wide open spaces + leashed dogs allowed (dog waste station with trash can was available) The surrounding area is a bit industrial, but you get past that. My oldest daughter came with me here on January 29, 2026 to check it out. She says it definitely has potential. :) I will also add that it was surprisingly well-maintained - free of trash. I remember walking here with my kindergarten class when I was a teacher at the nearby Jefferson Elementary. Those kids are all grown up and have graduated high school. Sweet memories. Still a fan.

The checkin process was painless. Once I found it. I thought I knew where the ER was which was near the entrance I needed to take. I ended up on the other side of the hospital because I never saw a sign for the ER. Why are there no signs on the highway nearby or the main entrance to the hospital for the Emergency Room?! If they're there, why aren't they more noticeable?!

It's located on the Mills Elementary School campus, but maintained by the City of Hobbs. So it is reclaimed water. Don't drink it! To activate all the water features--including a huge overhead bucket that tips over, pouring cold water onto screaming children--just push down relatively hard on the large yellow button on the northern side. As much as they may want to, tell your kids not to run. My daughter's gooberish friend excitedly ran, slipped, and sliced her leg pretty good on the concrete. Restrooms are nearby. Picnic tables. A gazebo. A small playground. Plenty of street parking or along the fence in the alley. Bring: - towels - sunscreen - foldout chair - bottled water - your phone to do slo-motion water play videos of your crazy kids. Lol.

I'm giving this four stars because it could use a cleaning of the drains, so the water can flow better and the bathrooms also needed some attention. Overall, though, I recommend. I'm from out of town, and I elsewhere in the country we have to pay to use a small splash pad like this one. Impressed!
