By that time, I had already driven 30 minutes to get there, so I hesitantly agreed to the $250 charge, and proceeded with the (verbal only) agreement that he would run diagnostics on my device. After that - I never received even an email, invoice, or receipt from him - NOTHING! I got a phonecall a few days later, in which he old me the data is not recoverable and I might as well toss the device, because it's useless. I picked up my device immediately, and shipped it off to a real company for accurate diagnostics. I will be disputing this with my credit card company, and going to the BBB if I have to.

And was flexible with me to be able to meet at his house & drop off my laptop. The issue was the left side hinge that someone came undone. He left me know he needed to order some screws and the updated price. Once he had the hinge "fixed" he didn't like the way the laptop screen now "stuck out". So he brought a new screen/backing for my laptop. Since he was not personally happy with the way it looked, he offered to buy me a new/used latop. I never saw it with the "poked out" screen but I would have rather kept my laptop. He said he would take some time and research for laptops of my specified specs. So, I said okay. Please let me know what you find before making any purchases. A few days later he calls and tell me that he opened up my laptop, saw water damage, and now miraculousy my laptop NO LONGER WORKS. The screen does not appear - even with external monitors, just black. This was very disappointing and frustrating. Laptop worked fine before I dropped it off, with the exception of the hinge that came undone. Not sure why he didn't check everything (atleast turning it on/off) in the beginning. I even asked if he wanted the power charging cord when I dropped off the laptop. Still dont understand why he would offer a new laptop and then a few days later say my laptop doesnt work and he's not going to replace my laptop. I paid $170 for the service & to get my laptop back, that is NO LONGER works now. Ultimately, I had to purchase a new laptop. He will tell you if something doesn't need to be done, or if it can be done at less cost. He's also a really nice guy. These are some of the things he helped us with: Switching our email system from Google Workspace to Microsoft Office 365 for business, including email migration, calendars, and files shared between all the users, He synced our computers and mobile phones, and backed up emails. He also set up Office online so we could have access to our files and contacts when not in the office. He set up daily computer backups on a local network storage device and to a cloud service. Oren suggested installing remote access on our computers so he could do evaluations and diagnostics remotely. That really came in handy for us as he was able to provide support even when he was elsewhere or had a break between clients but was too far to make an in-person visit. IT consulting and training. Troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues. I highly recommend Oren at Restart Computer Services for your computer needs for office or home use. He's very good at explaining things so if you don't know how to do something, he'll show you how.

He counseled me against replacing the double-cylinder deadbolts (providing for safe egress during a fire or other emergency). He provided 6 duplicate keys even without me asking. This was a good contractor experience because of the ease and speed of scheduling and the diligence with which Udi approached the job. I needed fix and install the programs to my desktop computer, I heard about ZIT solutions by a Facebook post, as I saw amazing reviews I decided to contact them, I was in a kind of rush because I needed to download some files for my work before 12 am that day, and I contacted them before noon, the response was inmediate and the representative came to my house and fixed the problem, installed me all programs I needed and the proper configuration of my computer, it works perfectly and haven't had any issue about it, as I was extremely satisfied with the results I bought a mini laptop for my sister and had it configured by them too, they made an amazing job too, I'm going to fix 2 more computers I got with them, they're very polite, every time I call to ask something about anything related to electronics they answer my question and are nice to me, they gave me a 6 months warranty and after that time they keep an eye and ask me often how is everything going, all staff is amazing specially Harold, he is a sunshine and keeps helping me every time I need assistance, obviously, I'll always work with them. My Macbook Pro suddenly died - in the middle of my work and I could not restart it. It was almost a catastrophic event. Apple support couldn't help. I thought I had lost all my data and an expensive computer. But I was very lucky to find ZIT Solutions. Harold was very friendly and professional. He made accommodations for me although it was a Sunday and suggested diagnostic which showed that there is no power at all. After that they took the laptop apart and cleaned it thoroughly, couple of times from all the dust it had gathered inside for four years of use. After that it started working again! This is a service which the big tech companies don't provide. They prefer that you buy a new computer. I like the fact that ZIT Solutions are very professional and knowledgeable but also very flexible - open even on Sunday, no waiting on the phone, personal approach. Harold was great he picked up my computer right away confirmed that my hard drive was bad, installed another one I gave him, got the operating software loaded and recovered my data and gave it to me on a usb drive. He offered to install Microsoft Office and some anti virus software that he recommended at a small additional cost. He delivered my pc all at a very reasonable price. read more

It had restarted so many times that some security feature was preventing all logins. First, they had to solve the login problem by cracking Windows security. Then they ran diagnostic tests that revealed RAM faults, requiring a new motherboard. In a few days, the new motherboard arrived, and now the computer is back home and working perfectly. This is the same sort of experience I've had before with the Computer Technology Center, so I was not surprised. Their office is open--they don't take your machine to another room. They'll do the diagnosis right in front of you. If the repair is simple, they'll make the repair while you watch. This openness gives one great confidence in their work. The price for the work was very reasonable. I hope I don't have another computer failure soon, but when I do, there's no question where I will go.
