I own multiple buildings and have worked with thousands of companies over many years in business. I rarely write reviews, but my experience with MGR has been one of the most frustrating and financially damaging professional experiences I have ever had. In March 2025, I contacted MGR for information regarding property management services. The CEO, Michael Rademaker, personally called me and assured me that MGR was "the best management company in California." He repeatedly told me that if I ever had any concerns or issues, I could contact him directly and he would help personally. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. My property was assigned to Melissa A. Sheridan. More than a year later, critical issues remain unresolved. Despite repeated requests, tenant contracts were not properly reviewed or understood. I received multiple different versions of CAM reconciliation calculations, many containing errors involving tenant and owner responsibilities. Even after numerous discussions and corrections, the reconciliation process for 2024 and 2025 remains unresolved well into mid-2026. Communication has been one of the worst parts of this experience. Emails, texts, calls, and voice messages often go unanswered for weeks. When responses do come, she usually promises that things will be handled "next week." After hearing "next week" for over a year, it became clear that nothing was actually moving forward. About a month ago, after asking what legal action might be necessary to recover outstanding funds, I was met with yelling over the phone instead of professionalism or solutions. I was told the matter would be completed by Monday. That was a month ago. Since then, despite many follow-up attempts, there has been no meaningful response. What disappointed me even more was that the promises from leadership meant nothing. I called and left messages for Michael Rademaker multiple times. Despite previously assuring me that I could reach out directly if problems arose, I never received a response. When I called the office, I was told he was there, yet my calls still went unanswered. This experience has cost me time, money, energy, and unnecessary stress. Property owners hire management companies to solve problems, communicate professionally, and protect their investments -- not to create more problems while ignoring their clients. I have worked with countless companies throughout my career, and this has been one of the most disappointing business relationships I have ever experienced. If you are considering trusting this company with your property, think very carefully before signing anything. No property owner should have to beg for communication, chase basic accounting answers for over a year, or feel ignored after paying for professional management services.

The other management companies were treating me like a number, you know how it goes. If a management company doesn't care about their land lords, it is safe to assume they're not going to treat your tenants and their families any better either. When I called the Paradise Family Realty office I got in touch with Nabeel. Set aside for a moment how surprised I was to get a pick-up on the first couple of rings, Nabeel was immediately sincere about earning my business. I didn't feel like I was being given a routine sales pitch or the sense he was at all desperate for business which, in my opinion, are dead giveaways of a failing company. Instead, he was interested in my expectations and my thoughts on the future of my investment. Nabeel explained how he operates his business to help me determine if his company would be a good fit. Customer service is extremely important when dealing with renters as a land lord. I couldn't make a scheduled appointment with him and made a call to his personal line very early in the morning to leave a message, he picked up! He explained it wasn't a problem so I came in at another time to talk business with him. When I arrived at his office, he again wasn't pushy at all. There was no "it costs this much, here are my rules" that I was getting from other agencies. He spoke proudly of his family and his philosophy on good business. People, this is rare in Victorville. If you're from the area you know this all too well. We have a bunch of crooks in this town looking to make a quick buck, but Nabeel is passionate about his family's name, which is well known in Victorville in fields that have to do a lot in people's well-being, like medicine, where his office neighbors at the moment. He went on to express how important he thought it was for the family in my rental property to be happy, and that really sealed the deal for me. I've been working with Paradise Family Realty for a few months now. I'm over seas so Nabeel set up an electronic transfer of rent to me. I sent my property inspection report to him with the identified issues and he had a professional quote in my inbox faster than I could have ever pulled it off myself. I get emails regarding my taxes and copies of all the paper work in a timely fashion. I don't know what else you can expect from a property management team, but as a landlord or a tenant this is pretty text-book service that is truly top of the line. Nabeel speaks highly of his company's clients, his name's credibility and is willing to work just about anything out with his clients. The tenant they placed in my property stopped paying rent early in the lease and remained in the home for months during the eviction process. Throughout this time, communication was poor, concerns were not addressed in a timely manner, and important property management responsibilities were overlooked. I later discovered issues involving lease compliance, move-in documentation, maintenance concerns, renters insurance verification, and unauthorized pets that were not properly addressed. The lack of oversight ultimately resulted in significant property damage, financial loss, and unnecessary stress. When I finally regained possession of my home, it was left in poor condition and required extensive cleanup and repairs. I hired a property management company to protect my investment, but based on my experience, Nabeel and Cassie failed to provide the level of management and accountability I expected. I would not use their services again and would encourage other property owners to do their research before trusting them with their property.
