Awesome place. If you have a vehicle that you love and you really do not want to lose it to corrosion and rust this is the place to bring it to. The use 3m undercoating to seal your frame, wheel wells , and under body. This is probably going to extend the life of my vehicle for at least a decade as far as I'm concerned. I have been a long time customer of Z Tech but my last experience was not satisfactory. I have two vehicles and brought in both to have the annual rust proofing and paint protection renewed. The first vehicle was done very well and the surface was reflective and smooth to the touch like it should be. The second vehicle was done but was not smooth to the touch (in fact it was rough like no product was used) and looked the same as when I dropped it off with the exception of the tires looked treated. I call an asked about it and was told that they do the same process for every car and that it was my paint job that is causing the difference. The first car was 10 years old and looked better than my second car that is 3 years old. I am very dissatisfied with this experience and will most likely not be going back in the future due to the inconsistency in the quality of work. read more

I just had another cars windows tinted at Z-Tech. I have been a repeat customer for years! I don't think anyone can match their quality.....I have never had any issue. I'm having them come to my house to privacy tint some windows, and then have them use a special film that blocks out UV rays that fade furniture and floors. I really didn't know they did that. The old 540 was in desperate need of some UV protection-apparently they don't get a lot of sun in Deutschland and the black dash is a good idea there. Z-Tech is convenient to the crib, so we checked them out. The guy at the counter was super nice and most helpful, so we signed on for 3M's best tint product. We were at about $850 all in. Our problems started immediately after the three day curing period, and manifested in the form of large bubbles in the tint. I would also mention that the hood was left unlatched and a chip in the windshield mysteriously appeared (Z-tech says it couldn't have possibly been caused by them). My wife returned the car and waited for 2 hours while they repaired the installation. That would have been OK if they offered something in the way of recompense, but they didn't. I get the impression that all of the money is spent up front, where the sale is consummated, and the installation crew is lacking. We'll see what happens. read more

Brought a Bluetooth System in for them to install and I had an incorrect "harness" which is used to connect the system. Rather than making sure they were installing the correct parts they simply installed what I gave them and sent us on our way. We could no longer use the phone. When we called to let them know that their installation did not work, we were told, "there's nothing we can do". Not very professional and would definitely not recommend! read more

I had multiple phone calls with DJ, Paul and a third guy in the week leading up to me dropping my vehicle off for a full clear paint protection package. My due diligence efforts couldn't have been any more comprehensive. Each time I was told that the headlights would be covered in the $800 package. I go to pick the vehicle up and headlights are not included. The one guy who was doing the walk around with me told me the headlights wouldn't be wrapped because the halogen lights would burn through the plastic protection. I then go inside to talk to Paul and he said headlights are not included they are an additional $99. So I got two different stories as to why the headlightsWeren't included in the package. I told Paul that I'd spoken to him and DJ multiple times leading up to dropping my car off in the headlights were included. It's not about the additional $99 but rather that I was being called a liar and that I live 40 minutes away and now have to waste my time getting the headlights wrapped on another separate occasion now. Also there are numerous air pockets and air bubbles which they claim will go away in the first week although I've had this clear paint protection package done in other states on numerous cars and never had air bubbles. Lastly out in the parking lot I was speaking to a guy waiting for his truck to be finished with Window tint And he said it had taken them three times to get it right on his vehicle. If you're going to work with these guys I would recommend getting everything documented via email. I should have known better and raise a red flag when they were trying to upsell me on everything from the start. Lastly there are new scratches around the working areas on the 9,000 mile old 2018 vehicle that weren't there before. Spent some time scrubbing some sticky adhesive substance off the paint near the areas where the 3M clear paint protection wrap was applied. read more

Had a tow hitch installed. When I called to order they asked the year make and model so I assumed that they would order the correct hitch for my vehicle which mounts behind the bumper. Instead they ordered a generic hitch that mounts under the bumper. While this may seem trivial I purchased a new vehicle that specifically would be able to hide the hitch when not in use as I only use it a couple of times a year. When I asked why they put the hitch on that they did they said "that's how we always do hitches. " Now I have to uninstall the hitch they put on, buy the correct hitch and have it installed. I used this shop because I have family that used them and liked the work they did. I guess I should have just gone to the dealer and paid a little more to get this done correctly the first time read more

Made an appt and had crystalline tint installed on my car here. Crystalline is apparently more difficult to work with than other films, but Z Tech did an excellent job. They took me in on time and finished faster than estimated. Great customer service and comfortable waiting area too. read more

I had the windows on my Ford Taurus tinted in Oct '14. DJ Bertolini was my service advisor. We set the appointment, I came in with reading material and my iPhone to keep me occupied, and the car was completed in about 2.5 hours (I was quoted approx. 3hrs). The car turned out terrific! I came back in December and had my wife's Ford Fusion tinted along with having wind deflectors installed. Once again DJ took care of me and the car turned out beautiful. Unfortunately a week or so later, the rear window tint began to "unadhere" where the honeycomb material above the heated windows resides. I called DJ and he immediately agreed to address the issue for me. As it turned out both our schedules were ridicules (last 2 weeks of December) so we agreed to have the car come in January 5th. At that time, ZTech removed the back window tint and reinstalled fresh product. It turned out great! At no time did DJ or the staff make me feel like I was being a problem to them. I felt they were really trying to satisfy me as a valued customer. I work in retail services and know how brutal some members of the community can be when everything doesn't go perfect every time they come in for service. Humans aren't perfect and either are cars. S*** happens! It's not like established businesses want to screw up work so they can get butchered by social media and go bankrupt! I was referred to ZTech by one of MY customers; I am completely satisfied with their work and customer service, and I intend to recommend them to others in the future. read more

People who leave bad reviews are usually the people who are too cowardly to talk to the business operators to solve their problems. After a failed attempt at tinting my front truck windows myself I decided to look for a professional. Found Z-Tech here on Yelp so i decided to go with them. Had an 8am appointment and they told me it would take about an hour. 8:59 am it was done. I also appreciate the warning sticker on the window control to remind me not to roll the window down for 3 days. I know my dumb a@@ would forget and roll it down LOL. They have a couple nice couches, a TV, and WiFi in the waiting area so I didn't mind the wait. Also there is a coffee shop next door so that was a bonus. read more

Great place. I recently bought a car and wanted my windows tinted. I e-mailed them to get a quote and they were able to squeez me in the following day even though they closed an hour after I was able to get there and the service usually took 2.5 hrs. The car looks amazing and I was very pleased with the fact that they were able to accomodate. I have now had several cars done at ztech. They get down to business and always do a great job. For those who are not happy with their tint I wish you knew just how bad tint can be installed. Ztech does a phenomenal job. They use 3M film which sounds expensive but if you plan on keeping the car more than a year or two you will see why they do. 3M retains its original color way better than any other tint film. Dropped my car ('13 VW CC) off here within an hour of calling for an appointment, very friendly and accommodating. Opted for the 3M ceramic film for an extra $50 bucks (apparently allows better cell phone transmission and I use pandora frequently) They held onto my car for 9 days (no charge!!) since I was leaving the country the day after I dropped it off. When I picked it up, I made the payment after looking at the car, looked great BTW. Only complaint is that the car was dirty and clearly had been leaned on, covered in dust, etc. which could have been an easy clean up. (Thank god I have free washes from my dealership and they are 30 seconds away!) Also, although I didn't notice for a few days, it appears whoever was moving the vehicle nicked one of the wheels. Didn't attempt to contact the shop as it had been days since it had been there and I have no proof it occurred at their shop while the car was in their possession, besides the fact that I don't hit curbs, especially in a car I just purchased less than 2 months previous. Regardless of this incident, I have told my dad to get his '11 Jaguar XJ L Neiman Marcus Edition tinted here as it looks great on my car. I just let him know to get before pictures in the lot to have proof of any Z-Tech caused damage as the car is 1 of 50 in the world! read more

I just had my 2014 Ford Fusion tinted with the 3M Crystalline film and it looks terrific. I worked with DJ and he was very informative, courteous and easy to work with. This was the first time I had windows tinted and am glad I chose Z-Tech. The quality of workmanship is top-notch and also a good value. The waiting area is comfortable and they even have Wifi. They even put a sticker over the power window buttons to remind me not to open them for 3-5 days. Very handy as I can be absent-minded at times. I brought our family mini van to them annually for 16 years. I stayed loyally with them as they closed locations and then switched from ZBART to Z-tech and even started bringing another car that didn't have there warranty. As soon as RUST started leaving holes they said "it would cost more than they felt the van was worth" so he gave me an all purpose cleaner and told me to go away. I recently had my car rust proofed and undercoated. I was told that they were going to power wash the under carriage and apply a rust neutralizer before applying the undercoating. Not sure if this actually happened after inspecting the job it appears that they just sprayed over the dirt. They did such a sloppy job. I have overspray all over my exhaust system that still is burning off weeks later. Overspray all over my tires and wheels, so bad that it caused my tires to become unbalanced and had to replace all four tires. Two of my tires were old so not mad about changing two however two were new and probably can be salvaged but I chose to replace all 4 because wanted a matching set. I called and they offered to clean the overspray and redo any bad spots. I took my car to my local mech and put it on a lift to get a closer look. What I noticed was that no attempt was made to keep the undercoating off the exhaust system, tires, wheels, driveshaft, parking brake cables and springs and lower body trim pieces. I'm afraid to set the parking brake as it might not release. No care at all was taken to do a clean neat professional job. I would not recommend the undercoating process, a better product would be to clean and apply rust neutralizer and paint with a light coat of flat black paint and touch up as needed. I feel now that this company has trapped dirt and moisture under the undercoating and will actually make the car rust out quicker. Luckily this an older car and not too expensive so my loss is minimal in a monetary perspective. I can't imagine if I brought a new car in to be protected and they did this I would be filing a law suit against them, yea the job is that bad. read more

DONT USE THIS LOCATION!!!!! I told DJ and Kevin this was a brand new car (only 100 miles on it) to be very careful with it. They assured me they would treat it like it was there own. I brought the car in for window tinting. When I inspected my car when they were finished I was extremely upset. They hadn't put any drop cloths down and the carpet was soaked. Two of the floor mats had standing water on them. The worst of it was under the rear window. The area was soaked and there was water in the rear speakers of my brand new car. Also on the drivers side rear window the 3m logos were still showing on the window tint and there was a corner of the tint that was not sticking to the window. I told Kevin this was unacceptable and that I would expect a steep discount and possibly might need my speakers replaced. He advised that is not going to happen. His solution was to dry the car, remove the 3m logo and stick down the corner. No discount and no consideration for the rear speakers. He said it was not a big deal its just water and soap that dripped. read more

This place is terrible they do terrible work they do not follow their "lifetime warranty" and they have the worst customer service possible. I got my windows tinted on my car and within a week the tint had holes bubbles everywhere and it started to come off. I went in and they didn't do anything they said it was my problem and told me to leave. So, if you ever want a terrible job done this is the place to go if you want quality work go down the street to Riggs Brothers. They fixed the Z tech crap work and gave me a real quality product. read more
