He mentioned he was using a new product and said he wanted to stop by the following week to check on how it performed, but that follow-up never happened. He also advised me that I would need a special pH-neutral car wash for the ceramic coating. When I reached out to arrange that wash, he was unresponsive. After three attempts to contact him, he responded that he was out of the country but provided no information about when he would return or whether he could complete the job, and I have not heard back since. At this point, I'm not even sure if he's still in business. While the actual work was 5-star quality, the lack of communication and follow-through afterward really soured the overall experience and brought the rating down for me.

This is a very rude and dishonest business. Do your self a favor and research reputable shops and take it to an honest shop. The owner Rob is very rude and is not customer centric. That can get expensive, especially with an older car when, if possible, you just want to get it closed for now and decide on repairs later. Then I found Bob at Top Coverage LTD in Elgin. The communication before drop-off was excellent. They answered every question I had -- and I had a lot. Post-install support was just as good, especially when I had questions about maintenance and cure time for the PPF. I was so happy with the full body PPF that I went back and had them do window tint as well, which also turned out great. The only minor areas for improvement would be more proactive updates while the vehicle was in their possession, as well as some small issues coordinating the loaner car. That said, the fact that they even offer a loaner vehicle -- something no other business I spoke with provided -- was actually one of the reasons I chose them in the first place. Additionally, there was a minor issue where the emblems were scratched during the process; however, they were very quick to take responsibility and immediately offered OEM replacements and a free installation, which speaks highly to their integrity and customer service. I brought my Bentley GT for a full wrap and besides the wrap peeling off the window trim within…read moreabout a month some of the biggest issues I had was with how many things they broke on my car. They didn't align the driver side door back correctly so the soft close wouldn't work and the jam wasn't aligned. This also made the vehicle wrap bunch up and peel off within a few weeks due to the weather stripping rubbing against the body unnecessarily. They also broke my passenger side mirror. Admittedly it had been cracked but I never got a chance to swap the spare one I ordered because they JB welded the mirror back in place after snapping it which then also made the motor not work. They also cracked the rear bumper during removal but claimed it was hidden by the wrap and didn't matter. All of these issues were wrapped up with "well, it's a little bit older so it's gonna break". For the price I'd expect a bit more.
