His brand of "Strike-Based" Jiujitsu, by name alone drew me to seek him out over all other jiujitsu schools in the Inland Empire, as it emphasizes that jiujitsu is first and formost a Self-Defense art. With respect to his academy, I am pleased that there is a respectful attitude amongst his students exhibited to eachother and extended to new sign-ups like myself, there are virtually no ego's displayed or felt during live rolls, and the mats and facilities are up kept and cleaned daily.
