I 1 STAR -- ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND I am extremely disappointed with Anything Fitness and the way they handled our membership. We had a membership on auto-pay that we did not even use for approximately TWO YEARS. We tried for MONTHS to get the membership canceled and thought we were doing everything we could to resolve the situation. During this same period, my wife Rachel has been battling cancer. Our lives have been consumed with chemotherapy, treatments, doctor appointments, and simply trying to get through an incredibly difficult time as a family. After paying for a gym membership for roughly two years that we weren't even using, and repeatedly trying to cancel it, how does Anything Fitness handle the situation? THEY SEND ME TO COLLECTIONS. There is a difference between running a business and forgetting that your customers are human beings. A company can enforce its policies while still showing basic compassion, common sense, and a willingness to work with people--especially customers dealing with circumstances as serious as cancer. We weren't asking for special treatment. We wanted a membership we weren't using to be canceled and the billing to stop. Instead, after months of frustration, we ended up dealing with a collection account. That tells me everything I need to know about how this business values its customers. I hardly ever write reviews However I couldn't let this one go without having people read what I experienced at this facility. Please read and post your reviews if this happened to you at this facility. I joined Anytime Fitness during the COVID era because I believed in what the owner, Joe Capote, stood for at the time. He presented himself as someone who genuinely cared about helping people stay healthy when many gyms were closed. His message was about standing up for people's ability to exercise, and that was something I respected. In August 2021, I experienced unexpected health issues and called Joe to cancel my membership. He told me it wasn't a problem and said he would place my account on hold for four months in case I recovered and wanted to return. When the four months ended, I called him again and told him I wasn't able to come back and asked him to cancel my membership. He told me he would take care of it and that I would be welcome back whenever my health improved. Later, I discovered my bank account was being charged again. When I contacted Joe about it, he told me I hadn't canceled my membership properly and refused to reimburse the charges. I have not stepped foot in that gym since August 2021. The charges continued until I ultimately had to close my bank account to stop them. As a father of five and a blue-collar worker, every dollar matters. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing because it was not what I expected based on the conversations we had. I've been coming here for 5 years now and I will tell you this is a great gym. Friendly environment, clean, and not packed at all. I'm able to go anytime of the day and always able to have a great workout without modifying my workout or wait for a long time the gym use all the space to get machines or weights plenty of bars, dumbbells, weights and machine never have to hunt down what I'm looking for . This rating is solely based on the gyms condition when I visit at night. I've never been there during staffed hours. It's pretty packed at night, not a big deal it's a gym I get it but this place is not taken care of as well as others I've been to, Duarte and Covina to name a few. Although this location is bigger, I'll give it that. My biggest gripe is the condition of the bathrooms. The shower in the men's restroom has mid been working correctly and has a god awful smell. The "lockers" look like they were built from ikea parts and feel cheaply made, they could easily be broken into if someone wanted to. The gym itself doesn't appear to be cleaned consistently or stocked up with necessities. Aside from that there's a lot of machines, lots of free weights, plenty of cardio, big space in the back for different types of workouts, and even a tanning bed although i haven't tried it. If you can overlook the conditions of the bathroom and inconsistent cleanliness then it's a good place to get your workout in. Unfortunately due to my work schedule I need a place where the showers function well and would appreciate a clean gym so I'll likely be going to one of the other mentioned gyms. read more

This gym smells horrible and is extremely dirty. I don't think they have ever mopped their floors nor cleaned any of their equipment. There was black all over my hands and I never touched the floor once. This was my first impression of this gym. When I asked what my options were to get out of my contract because I signed up online and was disappointed with the outcome I got a response from Aly calling me a liar for saying I signed up online - although the messages were all right there on IG. When giving constructive criticism and being honest, I was disrespected through multiple messages. It's important for others to know how they handle matters when given feedback about their gym. I will definitely not support a gym owned by someone like this. 5/5 Stars ; The facility is really clean, everyone is cleaning the machines after themselves, everyone's minding their business and just working out. They have stair machines, treadmills, tons of free weights, and any machine that you would need. Staff is friendly, and it's literally open 24 hours 7 days a week. If you are sick of the hours of other gyms since covid ruined every gym's original hours this is the gym for you. Most gyms are crowded as heck because of the fact that their hours aren't flexible this is the only 24hr facility in my area and I absolutely love it here. The equipment trumps all other gyms equipment, and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I personally like the vibe of the gym everyone seems to be extremely serious about lifting it's not really a Tik tok or instagram type of gym where everyone has a tripod and you have to work around peoples videos because you don't wanna be in it. You don't get that here just your pure lift. No groups of 6 kids crowding equipment or anything of that sort. 10/10 recommend come check this place out! If you want to have a good leg day this is definitely the place for you as well it has the best leg equipment hands down I love everything about this place and have never had a problem with any members everyone is extremely kind and motivated it's a different experience for a gym for sure! The prices aren't bad at all either and everything is included which surprised me I can go to palms springs and even San Diego or Florida to visit my family and I can use the anytime fitness down there too all locations included! This gym is not worth your buck! I signed up for this gym back in 2020 and had to do a 18 month contract. When my contract was up I called to cancel and owner told me as long as I go before the payment goes thru i could cancel but when I went to cancel the manager told me that wasn't possible that I needed to give 30 day notice and that was at every gym which is false. On top of that, the gyms equipment was constantly broken gym was packed, didn't have to clean the machines I had to bring my own cleaning wipes. read more

By far my favorite place to expand my lungs and improve my cardiovascular system. I have been coming to this gym before working out was a trend, my brother had me come and check it out when we first moved out to Rancho as he used to train at the anytime in Chino Hills where we grew up! Since that day I haven't looked back, I have a personal gym at me casa (that means house in Spanish) but tbh I don't even remember the last time I trained at home (Iron Hades is what the streets call it, one-because when you train there you get one HELL of a work out, two-in the summer time it legit is hot as Hell, three-there has been times people have prayed to God himself to save them as they thought they were going to die in there while while lifting, and four Satan even is ashamed of some of the debauchery that takes place inside there after hours.) I love coming to anytime RC, its like my therapy not only for the exercising aspect but because its like a break away from all the day to day stressors. They have all the equipment that I need and the staff that works there are beyond exceptional, the owner Joe and actually pretty much every staff member is right there to ask if anyone needs anything or if anyone has any questions or concerns. I actually stop by the office as I go in and usually sit down and talk for a few minutes, I go there shortly after I get off of work and to be honest those few minutes just being able to let out a sigh of relief and warming embrace is rather soothing and quite nice. I have other gyms closer to my house and obviously having a gym at your house you cant find a facility closer than that, and I have tried all the local gyms, they pretty much are all the same, corporate gyms that get crowded, some with broken equipment, operation hours that do not cater to the demographic that work out late or very early, and they don't have that homie feel, they miss that feeling of comfort and warmth. That feeling like you're at home with family that anytime gives you. Overall its an awesome place to shed some fat or put on some muscle, keep up the good work guys! I've been a member of this gym since April 2014. The 5 star reviews were what originally led me to come check it out. After touring the facilities, I actually wasn't a fan of the layout. It was incredibly cramped and the machines looked a bit outdated. However, after they mentioned that they would be expanding into the space next door and showed me what the layout would look like, I decided to sign up. My membership for 18 months is $29.99/month for just me. Personally, this is kind of high because my previous membership at Triad Fitness in Azusa for both me AND my husband was $34/month ($18 for me +$16 for 2nd family member). My previous gym was also much bigger (probably 5x the size) and multiple rooms for classes. I was actually really sad because I loved working out at that gym. At this point, I didn't care because my company reimburses me for gym memberships and this was the closest one to our new house. Due to the price, I didn't sign my husband up because it would cost more than what my company would reimburse me for the year (don't want to pay out of pocket now... lol). He has all his weights in our garage anyway. So 9 months after signing up, the new space is finally open. Before the remodel, I've been running around the neighborhood and working out at home mostly. I think I'll start coming in more often now. They will have a room for classes, showers and a sauna (which I probably won't use because I live so close I can just go home to shower.) I just wish they had more treadmills and elliptical machines. With the remodel, they get a 4 star from me. I still like it better than the 24 hour fitness I used to go to and everyone is friendly for the most part.
