    12 Nuggets Combo
    Chris C.

This is a nice little local spot. It's pretty good if you're on-the-go and wish to grab some food and roll. Though if you are killing time and not in a hurry then this probably isn't what you're looking for. Also, if you don't like potentially having your car in the middle of a turn lane on one of Valdosta's busiest roads, the. You probably also won't like this place much. The service goes quick, but unless you online view the menu (I did not) then the first time you see their full menu is at point of order. So you got this massive line behind you, the order taker staring at you and then the sweating and the anxiety sets in of feeling rushed to order and not really look at the menu. Then the food came. I got a 12 piece nuggets combo. The nuggets are okay. Honestly I think the fryer oil needed changed. They had a strange oil taste to them and the fries were kind of limp like over oily or under cooked. The nuggets were done to perfection and had a great crisp to them, I just honestly think the oil needs changed. I'll try it again I'm sure.

The dark pieces are dried out and old

Zacadoo's really hit the spot! It's strictly a drive-through restaurant so you should expect that there will be long lines-- but it's well worth the wait. Actually, it didn't even take too long-- they moved through the orders pretty fast. We felt kind of rushed looking at the menu for the first time and tried not to hold up the line so we quickly ordered chicken biscuits, which were simple but amazing-- way better than Chick-fil-A's any day. We ordered coffee but they forgot to ask if we wanted any sugar or creamer so we had to just drink it black- no biggie. We also ordered the breakfast platter, which came with eggs, bacon, grits, and buttery toast-- a perfect Southern breakfast. As a bonus, the prices are fairly cheap too.

Awesome food at low cost. Totally worth waiting in line which is usually rather fast. I've made it a habit to stop by at least once a week.

This place checks all the boxes. A decent if not typical Hampton Inn. Is the furniture new? Nope. Are there a couple of stains on the carpet? Yep. Keep in mind it's not the Ritz, you're not moving in -- or are you?! -- and you're not paying all that much per night. A surprising feature is happy hour, which I've never seen in a Hampton Inn. Nothing fancy: wine, beer, chips. But the gal who runs it is friendly and made the evening quite pleasant. I also commend everyone we spoke with who works for the hotel. A nice, helpful group of people.

We knew when booking that the hotel was undergoing renovation, but we were okay with that since it was only for one night. And upon arrival, it was clear that this renovation was LONG overdue. Our issue was the cleanliness, or lack thereof, in the common areas. The floors in the breakfast area and elevators were sticky and nasty. The carpets in the hallways were stained and filthy. I get that they need to renovate, but they don't need to sacrifice cleanliness.

She was incredibly patient while taking her order, and when she delivered it, she made it feel like a true room service experience. Later, my granddaughter decided she wanted a cookie. They weren't ready yet, but Nadira didn't hesitate. She went into action, baked them, and even plated them beautifully. She smiled and said, "I knew who they must be for." The next morning at breakfast, the magic continued. My granddaughter struck up a conversation with Davida, the breakfast host, and told her she was almost 10 years old. Davida smiled and said, "Well then, you need a special breakfast waffle!" She went out of her way to make breakfast extra special. As we were leaving, my granddaughter told Davida how much she wished she could stay longer. Davida replied, "Well, when you come back next year, I'll be here waiting on you." It's the little things that turn a simple trip into a lifelong memory. My granddaughter will remember this experience for years to come--not because it was the fanciest hotel, but because of the people who made her feel so special. Thank you, Nadira and Davida, for reminding us that exceptional hospitality isn't about luxury--it's about kindness, thoughtfulness, and making guests feel at home.

Check-in went smoothly and we were in our rooms within minutes. After a long day of driving, we were glad to walk into a clean, spacious and comfortable room and bathroom. It had all the basics that we needed: mini fridge, microwave, flat screen tv, and more. We all slept soundly that night. We took advantage of the free continental breakfast the next day. It consisted of eggs, toast, juice, milk, etc. Instead of buffet style, they had a couple of nice ladies handing out food. Breakfast was consistent with other Holiday Inns we've stayed at. They have a coffee bar with tea and hot chocolate that you can take advantage of even after breakfast hours. The dining room was packed that morning. Check-out was also a breeze. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Since we were only there for such a short period, we didn't get a chance to check out the amenities so I can't speak for those.

I'm super conflicted because despite the hotel being reasonable and the staff being very friendly, the clientele of the hotel seem to be sabotaging my view of the hotel. Look out; it's the return of the list monster. Here comes!!! The Good: - Parking was plentiful - Staff was super friendly. Check in made me feel VERY welcome - I know housekeeping has changed with the pandemic so instead of getting service during my (2 night) stay, I asked for 3 additional towels which I received without issue. - No one killed me in my sleep during my stay (I've had doubts with other stays) - Breakfast was awesome like expected. Hard to beat a Holiday Inn breakfast The Bad: - The clientele is loud to no end - The floors are sticky because the clientele have spilled sticky drinks EVERYWHERE - There are empty wrappers in the stairwell because the clientele doesn't respect the property The elevator is super slow and it jerks when you get on and press the desired floor button - One of the side entrances doesn't work no matter how many times you swipe your key and the lock accepts your key I can't see myself staying here again it's not because of the hotel itself but the clientele it caters to. There are lots of hotels in the area making this place nothing special.

Every dish we tried was delicious, and it's easily some of the best Ethiopian food I've had. That said, be prepared to take your time. The ordering and food preparation process is very slow, and during our visit the "servers" were literal children. We ended up spending close to two hours there, with most of that time waiting for the food to come out. If you're in a rush, this probably isn't the spot. But if you're willing to slow down and enjoy a relaxed, unhurried meal, the quality of the food makes the wait worthwhile. I'd absolutely come back, just with patience and no tight schedule.
