Almost $20,000 and I cry months later when I look at our yard. First off, the project was completed a month after it was supposed to be (days on end of no one showing up, one guy at a time on some days, excuses galore). Initially the yard, with fresh sod and new paver patio looked good, until it didn't. We babied the sod; watered it, didn't step on it, watched it like a hawk. Within weeks it never fully took, I texted Rony and he told me "be patient". The sod barely ever took, what did take died off quickly. As "experts" they knew the shade conditions, the knew the location of the yard and it's clear they picked all of the wrong products to install. Our yard is a pit of mud now. We have ruined carpets and furniture with our dogs bringing in the mud. The yard looks terrible, we literally cry over it. We now have to spend money we don't have to try and fix it. ****UPDATE**** The owner texted saying we are full of sh*t and then called. He told us if we didn't let him on the property to inspect that he would see us in court because of this review. We already lost well over 17,000 and now he wants to sue us because we won't let him trespass. read more

We hired Zacarias to replace a very worn out gravel path in need of replacement with pavers. Rony was very helpful with the planning phase in listening to our needs and developing a quality project that incorporated what we wanted. The crew worked hard and in inclement weather to get the job done as discussed and planned. There was an issue that was due to a miscommunication with a contractor working on another project that abutted the path and Rony addressed the issue and made it right. We love the path and the costs were all clearly presented up front along with a very detailed plan for the work. The grass seed they planted which was a bonus they added in has grown some great grass, and the lighting they installed makes a huge difference. read more

A storm. took out my large tree in my back yard. I had a call from Roni within minutes of my call to Zacarias Tree. i had an estimate the next day and it was cut up and removed a few days later (my choice....they would have done it sooner). they also gave me an estimate to remove 4 more small trees. We hired them to take down four trees. My understanding was they will take down the four trees, cut big logs into manageable size, and chip small branches as much as possible. But after the trees are down, they did not cut big logs into smaller/manageable size, left us with these huge logs in the yard we cannot move ourselves. We worked with many tree service companies, no other company has left big logs in the middle of the yard, knowing we can't move them ourselves. When asked about cutting them into smaller size so we can move them ourselves, he said if we want them to come back, it's $250/hr. I regret hiring them. I don't believe their practice is the industry standard. If that was going to be the state they leave things, it should have been better communicated upfront. However, I do want to acknowledge the hard work the crew did and tried to not hit any structures. read more

Rony and his team did a great job trimming the 3 trees in our yard. One of the trees was a giant maple that needed a lot of work. We were worried that with the upcoming winter a lot of the branches wouldn't be able to stand up to the wind and snow. Rony and his team went above and beyond to assure we were satisfied with the final product. They left the yard the way it was before the trim and I would recommend them to anyone looking for help. read more

He texted to cancel 10 minutes before first scheduled appointment- after I had left work early and was home. Rescheduled to their convenience and they were a no show. Rony and his team did an amazing job transforming a shaded, overgrown rock pile into a beautiful grassy area my dog and I can enjoy. From soil, to sod, to tree trimming, they took care of everything. The price was reasonable, the crew was great, and the work was done fast! They even accommodated my changes once the job was started. Diego and his crew did a wonderful job of cleaning up a backyard that badly needed it. He also removed some old shrubs. Their work was so good we had them return to mulch and seed the yard. It was a more expensive project but it was definitely less than other landscapers would have charged. We are really pleased and would absolutely use him for future jobs. Rony's team got rid of fallen trees on my property after a big storm. I was impressed by their work ethic, they were fast workers and worked hard despite starting in the afternoon after finishing another job. Rony and his crew are fast and professional. I really appreciated his fast response when we contacted them, and how he answered my questions and helped arrive at a fair price. The tree removal and re-grading that we did went very smoothly without a hitch. Some of our neighbors even commented how well they thought the service was completed which was a relief to me since the work was right on our property line.
