They were horrible with responding to emails snd acting in a timely manner. My mothers estate was very simple. No property or vehicle. Will was complete with no issues. I would never use them again. She didn't do anything to help me for five months. She didn't answer my questions, she really didn't function as a social worker does in any capacity. She participated in a couple conversations between the lawyer and I after asking her to help me for three months only to get one reply saying essentially "we will get to that". During the meeting with her and the lawyer, she demonstrated to me she knew absolutely nothing about me and what help I needed. She made a wild accusation that I had been dragging my feet. It was so off the wall, I couldn't respond except to say I had tried to get her to talk to me for months. She ignored what I said. At that point I knew I should have gone with another firm. The only thing she did do was make suggestions about how I proceed in life that had no relationship to my functional ability. I had only spoken to her once and she made the assumption I needed a much higher level of care than was reality. While people make mistakes, I found it unacceptable to curtly request one piece of information about my finances and then assume I needed an extreme level of care. Julian is also terrible. He charges a huge sum to do estate and trust work but unethically chose to only communicate with my sibling. I was the person needing the trust. He produced (after waiting five months) a basic fill in the blank trust not customized at all and extremely restrictive. His unethical firms refusal to communicate despite pleas for months from clients is completely unacceptable. He not only is not worth his high price tag, he should pay me because I had to do all the work to fix the trust.

Having not been in an accident before and never having the need to involve an attorney, I took the recommendation at face value. In hindsight, I should have done some investigation and proceeded with an actual injury lawyer instead. This was by far the worst experience over the course of two years. I continue to have pain that wasn't severe enough for anyone, and I don't think any charges were perused for her negligence and breaking the law. I received radio silence, so much so that my chiropractor was asking for updates. Brief one line emails from a secretary and direct communication from your attorney are completely separate things. If I'm paying your rate, you work for me and i expect to talk to you, not a secretary. That was absolutely not the case here. After continuing after care at the recommendation from the attorney, that after care was and continues to come out of my pocket and not from my settlement. My settlement was not what it was made out to be by either my chiropractor or my attorney which should also have been a red flag. It wasn't until nearing the end of negotiations did I get a straight answer from my attorney as to what my case was actually worth. It took nearly 2 years and maybe 3 actual meetings with Mr. Julian to only hear how little my case was actually worth, and it took me to the point of anger and frustration to get that information. The icing on the cake so to speak, was the several phone calls made to both my personal cell phone and work desk number (the latter having never been used the entirety of my case) to unsurprisingly get my signature on a check. The more interesting portion was that while i waited in the lobby, the secretaries of the office were talking about the fact my attorney was preparing to leave for yet another vacation, which made the sudden urgency for my signature all too clear. A part of me knows the trip was centered around the amount owed from my settlement and honestly should have waited until after his trip to sign my checks. I cannot in good Conscience recommend this law office to anyone. My case was a quick paycheck for their office and my continued pain and suffering meant and means absolutely nothing to them. I can only move forward and keep this as a learning experience and as a warning to others.
