Having not been in an accident before and never having the need to involve an attorney, I took the recommendation at face value. In hindsight, I should have done some investigation and proceeded with an actual injury lawyer instead. This was by far the worst experience over the course of two years. I continue to have pain that wasn't severe enough for anyone, and I don't think any charges were perused for her negligence and breaking the law. I received radio silence, so much so that my chiropractor was asking for updates. Brief one line emails from a secretary and direct communication from your attorney are completely separate things. If I'm paying your rate, you work for me and i expect to talk to you, not a secretary. That was absolutely not the case here. After continuing after care at the recommendation from the attorney, that after care was and continues to come out of my pocket and not from my settlement. My settlement was not what it was made out to be by either my chiropractor or my attorney which should also have been a red flag. It wasn't until nearing the end of negotiations did I get a straight answer from my attorney as to what my case was actually worth. It took nearly 2 years and maybe 3 actual meetings with Mr. Julian to only hear how little my case was actually worth, and it took me to the point of anger and frustration to get that information. The icing on the cake so to speak, was the several phone calls made to both my personal cell phone and work desk number (the latter having never been used the entirety of my case) to unsurprisingly get my signature on a check. The more interesting portion was that while i waited in the lobby, the secretaries of the office were talking about the fact my attorney was preparing to leave for yet another vacation, which made the sudden urgency for my signature all too clear. A part of me knows the trip was centered around the amount owed from my settlement and honestly should have waited until after his trip to sign my checks. I cannot in good Conscience recommend this law office to anyone. My case was a quick paycheck for their office and my continued pain and suffering meant and means absolutely nothing to them. I can only move forward and keep this as a learning experience and as a warning to others.

She burned through $2500 of my $3000 retainer (not including the additional filing fees) and dropped me as a client with no warning siting I was too anxious. Did I email a lot? Sure, but always respectfully! To me, a lawyer who gets frustrated about follow up on custody for a divorce or an "anxious client" feels like someone who shouldn't be a divorce lawyer, but you can and will find that with Leigh Lyons! While my lawyer friends expressed they get calls, texts, and emails at all times and in succession without breaking from the pressure, do not expect this compassion or professionalism with Leigh. Outside of this shocking unprofessional conduct at the end, she was generally a poor lawyer. Failing to share correspondence from the opposing council for almost a month (Opposing Council's response sent to her May 5th. She shared with me on June 1st) Poor communication and availability Presenting a condescending attitude Asking me to check her math on items all while charging $300/hour?? Leigh seems a lot more concerned with growing her pickle ball career (lol) than she is with doing her job. I've also noticed that any negative review posted, Leigh will respond saying they were not her clients. (e-mails attached in the comments so there is no confusion.) Literally the worst exchange in a service I have ever received across the board in my 33 years. Good riddance !
