I absolutely love the waterfront views from this hotel, as well as the lovely pebble beach covered in driftwood. There are several paths for relaxing strolls along the beach, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sunset. The hotel offers a swimming pool and hot tub, however the pool was a bit cool the last few times I visited in the winter. Perhaps it will be a bit more enjoyable for peak summer visits - when a cold dip in the pool is most refreshing. The hotel offers complimentary bowls of soup in the evening, which is always a welcome surprise.

The coffee selection was surprisingly good, with different types of beans and flavors, along with a nice variety of teas. I really appreciated that they serve real eggs instead of the typical premade ones you often find at hotels, which made a big difference for me. Not forget to mention the wonderful Hawaiian lady in the restaurant. She is amazing and so sweet. My daughters and I just love her!! The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is the pool area. It feels a bit outdated, the pool was not as clean as expected, and it is on the smaller side. Just before our trip, the property management company told us the home was suddenly unavailable due to "maintenance issues" and moved us to a different house without our consent. That's where the trouble started. The replacement property was dirty, unsafe, and misrepresented. There were stained carpets, a smelly basement, peeling deck boards, filthy bathtubs, and no AC during a heat wave in Seattle. Many rooms had no way to ventilate safely -- windows were sealed shut or lacked screens. Worse: after visiting the original property we booked, we discovered it hadn't been maintained or prepared for guests in months. It was never going to be available. The "maintenance issue" excuse was a complete fabrication. This was a bait-and-switch, plain and simple. When I tried to address the concerns, the owner was dismissive and condescending, suggesting that we should have "ignored the lower two floors" of the home (which were filthy). He took no responsibility for the condition of the property or the misleading communication. We've documented everything with photos, a timeline, and communication logs, which have been shared with Expedia and will be escalated further if needed. This company may appear professional online, but our experience was the opposite. If you're traveling with your family or expecting a quality rental that matches the listing, look elsewhere.

Each bedroom was about the same size and had plenty of room for belongings including a good sized closet as well as a large dresser. There is a view of Liberty Bay from the windows and water access from the property, which we took advantage of as crab season opened the weekend we were there. Wade and Julia, the owners, were very accommodating and Wade even pointed us in the right direction to fill our limit on crab that weekend. The Guesthouse is central to everything we wanted to do in Poulsbo. It's a 3 minute drive to downtown, with great shops, especially Sluy's Bakery (the best doughnuts/pastries ever). It's about a five minute drive to to the local casino, where we enjoyed an evening of relaxing, low-stakes gambling and it's about 15 minutes to the ferry landing when we wanted to enjoy a couple of days sightseeing in Seattle. I can't say enough good things about our experience at the Lemolo Greenhouse Guesthouse. Very highly recommended!

If you are as interested in a real getaway as I was, you should consider talking to Jillian, she is incredibly knowledgable about the area, kind, hospitable, friendly, and she obviously treats everyone like family.

The beach was full of very sharp oyster shells and rocks, some 16 inches high. This was a big concern since our grandkids are 3 and 7. Even with shoes we all have sliced ankles. Thankfully the next door neighbor told us we could use the beach in front of his house which we did. After three vacations around the canal, the grandkids are asking for a lake vacation. Guess grandpa and I will enjoy the canal properties ourselves..... That's a good thing! ;-).

We were staying in Wallingford #5…read more The overall quality was good for a short term stay and I think it is a bit cheaper than equivalent options on Airbnb. However, the suite did not have a dishwasher, AC (it had a fan), and hairdryer. The vacuum cleaner was smelly and old. However, it had HD tv, cable, and internet. We also had a satisfactory maintenance experience; they repaired the bathtub tap leakage after contacting them. I had read reviews about people experiencing the invasion of their privacy by the landlord checking their apartment without previous notice. Just wanted to also mention we did not have any problem regarding that and the staff were nice people. I also wanted to mention that our security deposit was 600 which was returned fully. They received 250 cleaning fee at the beginning which was separate from the security deposit. The only problem is that they warn you that if the apartment is not cleaned (bathroom, kitchen, ...) before leaving they will deduct excessive cleaning fee from your security deposit (they also say the staff will be there just to do a light housekeeping.) I think this warning is a bit absurd because even if they hire a third party company for cleaning the apartment, $250 would be enough for cleaning rather than a light housekeeping.

I was just trying to toast my bagel and put some cream cheese on it for my son but it was impossible not to overhear the conversation. To me it felt really unfair as I don't think these new hires could say anything otherwise to these comments because they were accepting the job. When I left I asked a room cleaner about it and she said yes it is a labor practice issue but then said she likes working here very much and her boss is great. I asked because I really like the staff here and I was hoping I was just confused about what I thought I was hearing. Upon check out the manger in a very aggressive manner showed me the law about how an employee can waive their rights. I let her know my concern was that her new hires might not feel comfortable speaking their mind. She responded by saying they would feel comfortable and that she mentioned that aspect in the very early hiring stage too. She went on to scold me for not coming to her and I let her know that as a patron I do not have to follow any specific standards and really just wanted to get the heck out of that office. As I drove away with my son I felt really upset and could not get the rude look she gave out of my head. It was truly one of the most unusual hotel experiences I have ever experienced. It has been hard to get this person out of my mind her hostility was palpable and now I see I am not alone: Front Desk Leadership: A recurring complaint describes a front desk manager as having "extreme anger issues" and acting as if they own the property. This individual is allegedly responsible for making the work environment miserable for the rest of the staff. Lack of GM Presence: Reviews suggest the General Manager is rarely on-site, delegating significant authority to this front desk manager without sufficient oversight. This has led to a culture where staff feel forced to "go along with the nastiness" to avoid conflict.

The toilet was stuck open but i fixed it by re attaching the chain. all good. The rugs def need to be shampooed, keeping my socks on. Everything else seems in order.
