I went to Moe, who told me there would be an initial diagnostic fee of $75 (with tax, $81.19) which would be applied toward the repair if I chose to proceed. He said it would take some time and that he would call me with an update. The next day, I had not heard anything, so I called him. He repeated that the $75 would go toward the repair if needed and that he would call me once it was ready. Later that afternoon, I called again--he said he had been about to call me and that the phone was ready. When I picked it up, the additional charge was $186.74, bringing my total to $267.93. When I got home, I noticed the phone was very hot and not charging.I called him immediately and instead of offering to fix it, he asked whether I was using a fast or slow charger, suggesting it might be a different issue. I tried charging it overnight, but it never powered up properly. After repeated attempts, I was able to get it to charge up to 80%, but the phone overheats, won't hold a charge longer than two hours, and stops charging entirely until it cools down. Because of these problems, I didn't feel comfortable going back. I went to my carrier instead, but they told me the phone I would need to replace the phone, the repair and use on non apple parts were contributing to the issue. I bought a new phone. At this point, I have an unusable phone, I paid $267.93 in good faith, and Moe refused to even discuss a refund. I understand small businesses have to stay in business but you also have to deliver what you say you will. He did not repair my phone and he refuses to accept any responsibility for it. Bottom line: save yourself the frustration. Go to an authorized repair shop or buy a new phone.

In the process of them fixing said battery, they broke my screen and said they wouldn't get back into it. So I thought bringing it here seeing the good reviews it had would be my best bet, sadly enough it ended up being nightmarish. I first told them what my issue was and the things Geek Squad had done to fix it. However, they did not seem to care for the information at all, they had just disregarded it and had forgotten all about it. The part they needed to fix my screen wasn't in shop, so they had to order it. Which I can understand, yet; they said it'd be there in 2 weeks. I called regularly and it hadn't come in for a whole month. In the end, they didn't even call to let me know when it was ready. And they didn't even fix it! They just waited for my call to tell me for the past month they wasted my time. (Not literally lol) I opened it up to see for myself what repairs they tried to do, all my screws were missing, and the cable they bought to try and fix my screen was too short to even reach the connector inside the computer. My computer was working prior to me bringing it there, it was just my screen, and they managed to make it into a paperweight, it wouldn't work completely. I brought it back in, and they used all the wrong screws, so my laptop has a lot of screw dents on the chassis. They managed to get it back in working order BUT as of the time of this review, my WiFi adapter chip is entirely MISSING. In summary: I brought a working, nice condition laptop into this place. They waste my time for over a month and not call me to say when I could pick up the thing; and on top of that, they entirely trashed both the inside and outside. And upon bringing it back a second time, they managed to break even more! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. For the price of free, my $2000 gaming laptop is reduced down to its basic components. I also asked about changing my battery also because the battery life had diminished because I use it for work. He said he would order the battery and replace my screen again. My husband wanted to get his battery replaced also. We went the next day and got the screen replaced and batteries changed. Once walking out I realized my phone could no longer read my Face ID. I went back in and he changed it again. It's been a week and it's been soooo frustrating. My phone constantly overheats, my display barely recognizes taps, my battery won't stay charged at all and this phone is pretty much worthless.
