Took my phone here after another third party replaced the battery two months ago, and now the phone was not charging. Took it to another third party vendor first, and he didn't know what was wrong with it. Took it to an Apple Store, and they refused to fix it, and instead they told me to buy a new phone. Took it here, and Adam had it fixed in a few minutes. He told me the battery that was installed was a dud. He honored the original price he had quoted me on through Yelp. Read very good reviews of this store. They are probably good with iPhones. I needed help with an old Mac. The owner Adam is a rather serious strict looking terse person. He said he would work on it. I had to call back the next day and he could not fix it. Gave me back my computer w battery dead. I messaged service on my iPhone and genius guy gave me instruction to fix it in 10 mins. It was easy and free. I've never had an issue with an product in decades-- this was the first one and a software issue. Don't go here for Mac issues. They don't know their stuff. read more

This place is amazing. I smashed my front iPhone 4S screen glass and needed an inexpensive repair shop in the Houston area. Adam at Houston iPhone Repair was able to replace my screen in under 30 minutes, and it looks and acts like a brand new phone. When he first completed the job, I noticed some yellowing around the corners of the screen, but Adam politely said that he may have tightened the screws too tight and fixed the problem immediately. All for about $70 bucks, which is much cheaper than some other shops such as the Galleria or Apple Store. But here's the best part...literally 2 days after my screen was fixed, I smashed the back glass/panel of my same iPhone. It cracked in about 100 pieces after I dropped it at Rodeo Houston. So, I brought it into Adam and not only did he perfectly replace the panel in less than 5 minutes, but gave me a $10 discount on the repair service. The quality of repair is unbeatable, and I can't recommend this place enough! read more

You don't need a Miss Marple to solve this one, entitled, "iPhone 4 cracked screen replacement then feverish death" I regret that I should have paid attention to the uneasiness I felt when picking up my phone and finding a small scratch underneath the glass with no explanation as to how a person with no access to my phone sans glass (e.g. me and everyone else in the world, aside from iPhone assembly line and a MUCH BETTER repair shop on 59) put the scratch there. I brushed off the sign of abuse with the victim's excuse that maybe it was always like that as I rarely see it outside of a LifeProof or Otterbox waterproof case. My phone deteriorated in health and I realised that I had picked it up from a hospital that sent it into a hospice. -the Bluetooth signal started at 'weaker than I remember' to 'hold the phone so the inner antenna is two inches from the headphone receiver' - even in a lifeproof case the glass has cracked again - my phone's ringer on/off switch and volume control buttons are not responding Please seriously consider my review and save yourself the gnashing of teeth and rending of clothes that is the direct result of betrayal by the good reviews for this establishment. As it goes with third party warranty on repairing electronics I expect no recompense as it was my own folly patronising this establishment. It settles my stomach to think that others will use this review like the Donner Party should have used a bad review of the alternate path they took. read more

On August 4, I took an iPhone 6 in to have the screen replaced. They replaced it and on August 19 the screen not only popped out but cracked as it popped out in my wife's hand. I took it in to be fixed under warranty and they refused to replace the screen. I then took it to Office Depot to be repaired and they confirmed that Houston iPhone Repair not only did not install the screen properly but they did not properly glue in the digitizer on the back nor fit it properly. I highly recommend you avoid this business as they do not honor their warranty (note I had the receipt etc). They appear to be very dishonest. Just my two cents! Avoid them if you can. Go to Apple or anyone else. Don't let their price fool you. You will just have to pay again. read more

My iphone screen was cracked so I have in to Houston iPhone Repair. The place itself is a small- looked like only one girl was fixing phones. They have a comfy little waiting area with a big tv and some magazines. The price was definitely reasonable, and I didn't have to wait long- I was pretty thrilled to get my phone back to normal. Everything worked great, but a week later my phone was full of horizontal lines flickering across the entire screen. I brought it back and they fixed it at no cost (also good service). Yet again everything worked great for about a week, but then the flickering came back. So- no, they did not fix my phone, but least it's an improvement on what it was before. I went in to get my iPhone 7plus screen fixed with a working home button. Then man then replaced the screen but said btw your home button is not working and then he said he could not fix the phone but put my old screen back on . I walked in with a small crack in the corner of the screen and left with a really hot home button that felt like my phone was about to explode any moment and that no longer worked , with the same screen. I went to get a tablet fix and a day later I got it, I didn't really checked it when I got it back which was my fault. I get home and let my nephew borrow the tablet and he cut himself with glass sticking out on the side and the screen was popping out. I called Monday since they were closed Sunday and he told me to take it back, which I did and it was really horrible customer service. He basically laughed and asked me "what do you want me to do". I came here in December and got the special they had on yelp for the iPhone 7 screen repair and the screen completely sucks, It's too bad to ignore. Don't come here if you want a good screen. My screen has a blue hue to it and when I press on my home button the screen part above it turns slightly dark blue, like when you press on a laptop screen. Great service! I broke the screen and home buttons completely off my iPhone 5C, and the thing was pretty destroyed, but I could still track it on Find my iPhone, so I knew it worked. I didn't want to fix it - I just wanted to get it operable enough to get pictures, etc. off of it without spending a bunch of money. I walked into the shop with no appointment, and in about 15 minutes they installed a cracked screen from someone else's phone for me, turned on the "virtual home button," charged the phone enough to turn it on, and checked to make sure the screen worked. After all this, all they charged me was $20 for labor! I will definitely go back if I need service again. read more
