Started on January 21st Two days in a row I have dealt with disgusting workers yesterday was a Celesta who couldn't do a cell phone screen protector or clean out ports from yesterday. Corporate will be getting a headache and a half because Suraj lied about other employees names. I know his name. Now I will ONLY deal with the sweetest employee & best employee Ariel Black they have and that's Sundays and Mondays. Most customers will never come back because they are lying about her. Every time I come here, there's no one at the counter with no following number. When you finally get someone, it's a kid who takes cash from me and I'm never put in the computer last time. I've heard from family for a long time that Zagg is the place to go for screen protectors and cases, especially since their warranty means that you can get damaged ones replaced for a minimal amount. I brought my latest phone here recently for a screen protector and case, and I found the rep very helpful with both product recommendations and installation. (Only a 2* review because this first rep was nice and helpful.) Unfortunately, there was a big bubble on the side near the lock button that I discovered when I started using my phone at home, one that would grow every time the button was hit. They said to bring it back in, and they could fix it, no problem. When I brought my phone back in, first the rep (different guy) told me the fit wasn't right and that it would always bubble (except my mom has the exact same combination without a single bubble, which we showed him). Then he tried to fix it a couple of times, and at that point, the bubbles were worse and more widespread than when I brought it in. My options were to leave it, get a different screen protector, or replace the one I had for $10. Considering I had nothing to do with the installation that caused the bubbles in the first place, having to pay $10 to fix whatever went wrong on their end left a bad taste in my mouth. The rep was very clear that there was no guarantee a new screen protector would even fit right and that there could be the same or more bubbles, but it was $10 whether or not it worked. I left it as-is because I can live with the bubbles, even if they're annoying, and because I didn't feel like giving them even more money for potentially no improvement. Just felt like all they were after was more money, not actually satisfying the customer by trying to fix whatever went wrong with their original installation. Very disappointed and just wish I had never gone back to try to fix it, because now, in addition to wasting my time, it's in worse condition than it was before. read more

Terrible Awful experience with this new girl that works there. #1 she had no mask on. Covid hello dummy(wear a mask !) #2 very rude 3 she didn't want to work, no friendly greeting at all, chatting with a coworker or her friend and I just got a weird stare so I told her what I needed assistance with and she immediately wanted to charge me and get this, I have a warranty. My screen cracked so I took it off so she stated without the old screen she cannot help me and without even looking up my information in the computer she says you have to buy a new one but I can get a discount.. NO THANKS honey ! I bought a screen protector and have been a client there for 5+ years! She says we have to return the old screen... come on who is saving a cracked screen protector. So I contact zagg. On their recording it states they no longer need to collect the old broken screen protector. You work at zagg, do your job, just a little bit. I would hire a new human to represent my company. As of now I'm not happy and will not return there or refer anyone else to zagg. One star is generous for her behavior.Common policy is the Customer is always right within reason. Bottom line purchased a screen protector, it cracked and I only purchased their screen protector for 50.00 because when if in fact it does crack they are supposed to replace it for 10.00. Brought an Iphone to replace the battery at Zagg in Staten Island Mall, the tech "Arvin" replaced it, but somehow my valume button doesn`t work anymore, can`t turn up, down or silence it. Probably the ribbon cable got damaged after removed the battery, so i went to see him on friday 2/9 and he was not there but another co worker of him, explained to him and he told me to come back on sunday 2/11, so i went on sunday and explained to Arvin, he said replacing a battery has nothing to do with it, and wanted me to pay $75 to replace the buttom, while discussing with him he got so mad that he wanted to punch me, all i wanted is to get it fix what he damaged, at the end i left and i will dispute it in another way. Why i didn`t go to apple store to get it fix its because schedule time on appoitment, price difference in between them wasnt that much difference, but quality of work is a HUGE difference. read more

Tried gettinn a warranty replacement. Asian guy (didnt get his name) wanted the old screen protector. I went to the apple store to see if I could get it for my wife's phone. No luck. Upon going back, he stated prior he can give me a "discount". He just wanted to waive the installation fee and wanted me to pay $50 for a new screen protector and when I asked if I can speak to my wife first, he started using bullying tactics and pressure. I kindly said no, Ill come back. I left called Zagg customer service and was able to get it replaced. AVOID THIS PLACE. Ive never seen someone with such poor customer service besides car dealerships. So this isn't a ZAGG stand it's an independent screen fixer ... that sells Zagg stuff ... I go to the Freehold location and get talked into fixing my screen.. BIG MISTAKE... screen sensor was messed up and now I go to Staten Island location to find the guy that repaired it... nice guy ... but my phone don't work so basically I was told I have to go back to Freehold .. yea an hr in gas Toll and my time cause you don't know how to fix it properly.... ID GO SOMEWHERE REPUTABLE... now I need to go share my experience on Facebook as well and let everyone know how my phone worked better with a crack on the screen read more

Big mistake paying more than $40 for this screen protector. They claim a lifetime warranty. Send the broken one back, and they'll replace it with a new one for free! Well, $10.99 for shipping and handling is not free!!! I promptly went to Amazon and purchased four (4) screen protectors without warranties for a total of $18! And, the cheap protectors are identical to these expensive ones. I've now had two of the cheap ones save my screen for a total of $4.50 each! read more

Horrible customer service in Staten Island. I purchased an iPhone 7 and they put on an iPhone 6 screen protector. When I went back to get the correct one, they charged me for installation. Saying that it was Zaggs fault that they sent them the wrong one. Corporate Zagg said it was the Kiosks fault. Ultimately in the end it is my fault for purchasing a Zagg product. Screen protectors are not be installed correctly I have never heard some bull when I went to replace my screen protector and the idiot had the nerve to tell me the edges will not sit flat on the phone! It's an iPhone you idiot it's not a Galaxy with a curved screen!!!!! This idiot shouldn't be working there Zagg screen protectors are expense had always laid flat on my phone! Are they using the cheaper ones bought on the streets for $5.00 or less and sending back the originals back to Zagg for a replacement! Got a ZAGG glass screen protector, bumper, and back. I've dropped the phone plenty of times and there is not a scratch. The bumper is slim and a lot nicer than past numbers I've had. You can barely tell there is even a case on the phone. The customer service is great at this location. I recommend it to all my friends and would get it again. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. DO NOT buy the warranty from this kiosk. Alvin, the young Asian guy, and his coworker were absolutely terrible and condescending. Alvin didn't tell me that I needed to return the broken glass when I purchased the warranty and then when I came in, both of the guys treated me absolutely terribly. They wouldn't replace the glass, told me to contact Zagg rather than put me in touch with a manager, and even told me that I am stupid for not understanding the definition of replace. I pulled up the email and showed them that no where did it specify that I needed to bring the glass in. I asked Alvin originally if I needed anything and he said all you have to do is pay $15 to get a new one. It looks like I am not the first one they have done this to and it seems like it's a business model. Alvin said that he's been doing his job perfectly for the last 6 years and there's no way he messed up. Hopefully this post warns off others that he would have done this to. read more

Got the glass protector for my Iphone, looks great! it's worth the piece of mind..highly recommend
